The drama, unlike the other versions, is told through the eyes of the main character, Tomoko, and not, as in the original story, her male protagonist Tatsuhiko. The title met with much criticism due to its excessive sexual load, which resulted in the dismissal of employees at Tokai TV.
The story focuses on the Asakura marriage, who involve themselves in a series of romances and complicated extramarital relationships. The whole situation begins to affect their relatives and family, where many tragedies, dramas, abuse, breakdowns of relationships and tragic choices begin to occur. Can anyone find a little happiness in such complicated circumstances?

A bit similar love affair story with different story line in Hirugao both of the leads having an affair. In Kingyo Tsuma only the FL & FL husband plus other housewives who live in the same apartment complex having an affair. If you like love affairs genre this drama is a must watch. Iwata Takanori is adorable.
Both about infidelity and love between people who are married/engaged to another.
Both have POV from the ones who cheat and those loves aren't shown as "only bad", though both dramas also shows what damage can this cause, how painful is it for cheater spouses.
Both dramas are quite realistic/real life stories.
in both dramas main leads have really good chemistry and sexual relationships (sex isn't taboo in those dramas).

Hiroki acts like an ideal husband when around others, but he speaks harsh words to her when they are alone. She lives her days like a bird in a cage. They make the fateful decision to spend the night together, and Miwa later finds out that she is pregnant with his child. She doesn't want to divorce her husband and become a single mom because she doesn't have a job. To protect her baby, she decides to tell her husband that she is pregnant with his child.
They're different (both the plots and the leads' relationship status) but, at the same time, I've found them similar (especially at SL's beginning; while watching I often thought about Hirugao).
Differences: the ending and the mood (they're both realistic but SL is lighter whereas Hirugao is more emotional, maybe because the latter is longer).
