My sister introduced me the trailer to this movie because Luhan was there. But what got me interested was not really Luhan, although he was a really great bonus on this one, but because of the plot itself.
The movie was really something unique. It made me cry at certain scenes and it made me laugh at the most funny ones. It can really touch you in certain ways because of their different aspects in the movie. This movie is truly fun and interesting to watch. I would truly recommend people to watch this one. I didn't particularly like the ending though because I think it needed more explanation and all other things. I thought it was a little bit of a cliffhanger for me but it was quite alright overall. :)

I first watch this movie for Luhan (I'm a little biased), it is his first movie and his first big project after leaving EXO and korea. So I must admit that I wasn't expecting a lot from this movie, just screen time for him.
But this movie get into me right into the face with feels, humor, music and a heartwarming story.
First, the story is quite unusual. A granny who turn 20 and try to live her life again .. it's not a common story at all. And it's not a common love story either (you'll get it if you watch the movie .. I guess).
Secondly, the actor are all acting pretty well! I was amazed by Yang Shan who play the young granny. She pictures herself as an old grandma so well that it was funny and moving at the same time.
Finally, the music are awesome. It's not just a music movie but the main actors sing pretty well, and the music are all fantastic.
If you're wondering to watch or not to watch this movie, watch it!
I spent a great time watching it and recommend it without any doubt!
PS: be aware of the feels though

BELOW I'LL TALK ABOUT BOTH THE KOREAN ORIGINAL FILM & THE CHINESE REMAKE!
Back to 20 is about a women by the name of Shen Meng Jun who is a crotchety prideful 70 year old widow who get's transformed into a 20 year old and uses the name Meng Li Jun as her new identity then proceeds to meet several handsome young men. One of them just so happens to be her grandson Xiang Qian Jin who is played by Lu Han. (and by god I honestly had no clue he was in the movie until I saw him appear on screen and had to come back and look at the details).
In Miss Granny which is the Original Film we have a An elderly 74 year old woman by the name of Oh Mal Soon who is Foul-mouthed, stubborn, controlling and shameless, who suddenly regains her youthful appearance, then changes her name to Oh Doo Ri and embarks on a quest for happiness
Now BOTH version are a little bit different YES it's basically got the same plot and setting but the scenes aren't exactly the same and things DO happen differently then they did in the other film plus both endings are totally different (I'm gonna stop here before I spoil anything).

The story itself was so beautiful and the acting and music was grand. I might check out more of Chinese movies because I really liked the acting and the language was a nice contrast to Korean.
A good movie for me is one where I can cry, laugh and cringe and this had me up on my toes and jumping and squealing and everything.
A very good impression for my first try at Chinese movie.
