Reason behind this is it both has KJE and both are in the Lovers trilogy. Both have different storylines but both have the same sort of meaning behind it.
Two of the goofiest most adorable and wholey loveable female leads I've seen in K-dramas. Both are on the poorer side and are gold-diggerish (in a relatable way), while the male leads are rich and stern.
Dr. Gang and Lovers both have gangsters and female leads who are doctors. Somehow the male leads also look similar and their characters are loveable and romantic.
I think everyone knows why I recommend this. He is between two women with tge different blth women are alive. Secret is more dark, serious but with a better FL in my opinion. In lovers the FL is too childish for me.
Mobster male lead, quirky & poor female lead. Relationship starts off on chaotic misunderstandings and the leads can't stop running into each other despite disliking each other from the start. Romcom atmosphere, etc..
Both have strong fathers who affect the lives of their children affecting the trajectory of the Leads and complex relationship arcs that are not black and white.
The plot is as richly woven and the rooting for the leads sitting on the edge of the seat will happen in this show too.
When a Man's In Love has the same type of elements of a Gangster who struggles to balance is lifestyle with love. If you like a melodrama with the theme a topsy turvy struggle of good vs. evil then this one is for you.
