The store revolves around a young girl that has issues being around people and how a chance meeting with a doctor starts of a sting of events that changes her life. Pretty simple storyline but devil is in the details...please watch this drama without prejudice because it will surprise you.
In my opinion its my favorite drama of 2015 so far

A charming drama - except when it falls apart
This is one of the most atmospheric dramas I`ve seen thus far, and if I had to guess, I`d say that it`s thanks to its amazing OST, which I`ll be downloading in a few moments` time. Whoever was responsible for it, they did a great job. It`s catchy, nostalgic and not at all bland. Another point this drama has going for it is the acting of Chun Jung-myung, who really sells the chemistry and his role of a chaotic doctor pushed too far. And he also has great chemistry with the lead actress. However, I don`t particularly think that chemistry was explored enough, or rather, it was explored, but it seemed like it was only peppered through, resulting in a relationship that, though not shallow, seemed so. Up to the episode 12, it was a cute drama about a couple of misfits trying to find themselves. The psychological aspect is extremely watered down, so if you`re looking for some apt representation, skip this. From episode 12, however, it almost seemed like writers decided to throw their initial main plot lines to the wind and exchange it for a very cliché and over-the-top drama plot, leading to this drama just taking the biggest nosedive and becoming boring in a matter of minutes.Everything they`ve been working on collapsed due to a bad writing decision. From then on, it just became a chore to watch and I almost wanted to skip through most of the scenes. This is an advice from an aspiring writer whose strengths come from characterisation derived from trauma and real life situations- don't ruin your characters by forcing in a tragic past and then, even worse, try to make it a relevant point, when you know that these kinds of dramatic storylines aren`t your forte. It was messy, unnecessary and ruined the whole mood in the process. In the end this drama is a victim of nonsensical writing decisions and I would recommend it as a pastime, and don`t try to analyse it, as it will fall apart completely then.

I liked acting so much the sarcastic way has addicted me a lot although there's some weak points in the drama but overall you will like it.
I think it would be better to make it 20 eposides instead of 16 because that will make the romance takes its time to grow up between the leads. It feels there's some rush that the leads fell in love but still sweet and heartwarming.
I recommend it of course, GO AHEAD AND WATCH IT ;)
Anyway I think generally romance concentrated dramas are not good to be re-watched so I gave it 6.

This is my first time watching a drama that had the psychiatrist as a male and the female seeking out for help. Their chemistry in the drama worked really well overall. I cried so much in one the episodes, it was really emotional. I also liked the main supporting roles as well, they seemed to stand out quite a bit.
The music wasn't too bad, it didn't really stick out for me. I did enjoy it; however, it wasn't enough for me to like want to download it or anything.
This drama definitely had cute moments and was mostly lighthearted. It's definitely intriguing and also interesting, definitely recommend this to people who want to watch a romantic comedy.

Honestly it was an awkward start. It took a while for the drama to find it's footing, and the director felt like a newbie at first. Once it found its way I was captivated. All of the characters were wonderful and everything felt so heartfelt. I was moved again and again. There's skinship totally shocked me! But I LOVED it and it was done so well. Enough so that it felt very real. You could see and feel the emotions of the characters as they forged a bond of trust in that moment. Even better is that even though they slept together it wasn't a guarantee that they would be a couple. They didn't love each other yet and I enjoyed seeing their emotions grow and develop. Though it did grate on my nerves when the main love interest would call her ugly. Even in the end.
Heart to Heart was on it's way to being one of my top favorite dramas. Until the last 5 or 6 episodes. In which a typical drama plot came in to affect. In which the leads actually new each other from the past and of course there was this whole horrible mystery. It killed this drama. What I don't understand is why writers or the networks believe that they have to add drama plot tropes in such as corporate espionage or take overs, kidnappings, amnesia, and so on. We're here for the characters and unless that story is written in well to the overall plot it only ruins the drama. I really had to force myself to watch this and mainly so I could see how my beloved characters would end up. Though to be honest I ended up skipping a lot due to extreme boredom. This is a drama where I ended up sticking through to see how the side characters ended up more then the main couple.
I also found how some of the mental illnesses where handled to be incorrect at times and a very shallow reflection of serious issues. Don't get me wrong the hilarity of the two suicides at the beginning did have it's own points and merits. A different take on many very serious issues. At times I could applaud Heart to Heart for adding that comedic edge to the issues. At other times I felt like the writer just didn't quite understand.
The actors were great! Choi Kang Hee is brilliant as Hong Do and I really look forward to seeing her in future dramas. The depth of feeling and nuances she brought to Hong Do were both refreshing and precocious. I hope to find more female leads that are this well developed. Chun Jung Myung and I have a somewhat sordid past. I watched him in Cinderella's Sister and I feel like were just destined to part on bad terms. He's a fun actor! I just wish I could see him in a drama I love. His character isn't exactly the best guy, in fact he's kind of scum. But he owns it and like the lead we end up falling in love with him.
Actor Lee Jae Yoon was a surprise find! I've already become quite obsessed with him and hope in the future he'll land that lead role he deserves. His character Doo Soo is definitely the right guy at first. Until you realize that he over thinks things until someone else wants them. (Yes, I am referring to Hong Do.) I enjoyed that he seemed like the perfect white knight, but as we get to know him we see that in his own way he is just as bad as Yi Seok. So it's up for debate who is the better man.
That's where the charm is. Despite the over the top nature and seeming unrealisticness of the drama. The characters are very human and flawed. Giving the drama a more down to earth quality. I love flawed characters because as humans that's what we are. There aren't perfect guys and flawless ladies.
The music is brilliant! I love, love, love the OST. Certain songs were fun and others totally moving. The music was so unique and fit the drama well.
I really loved the fashion of this drama as it emphasizes Hong Do's illness. Using clothing and items to hide behind. Her style doesn't change that much, but I loved the use of clothing to emphasize how she hid from the world. I also thought Yi Seok's suits where daaaaaang smexy.
Would I rewatch it again? Huh. I'd watch key moments, but considering the slightly rough start the and inevitable boredom of the last 5 to 6 episodes it's not likely.
Overall I think Heart to Heart is a very charming drama. I feel greatly disappointed that the director and writer chose to botch the final episodes. Because Heart to Heart is a very character driven series and I thought many ideas and concepts where lost to simply fulfill a required trope check off list. I wish more writers would be brave enough to keep their original ideas going. I know a lot of it probably has to do with the networks. However, the majority of this drama was moving and beautiful. The take the writer tried to convey on mental illness and the power to heal others was refreshing. Not to mention how well developed the characters are and that none of them were stereotypes, they were outside the box. Which I am very grateful for. They've made a lasting impression.

I suppose the lack of this drama originated from the storyline. Even with all the small differentiations, this drama unfortunately stuck to the poor, unworthy girl paired together with the rich, persistently charming guy, and unfortunately did not stray much from that storyline. Because of this, the ending felt lackluster and predictable. Many, as well as myself, voice the opinion that the storyline could have chosen to break new ground with untested plot twists and character developments that would have made this drama overall more refreshing and memorable. But because of this predictability, it is easy to see this drama forgotten and lost among other similarly labeled so-called quirky dramas.
However, the biggest takeaway from "Heart to Heart" was the WAY the cast executed the story. There are some dramas where actor popularity overtakes how real a character seems, (ex: all you see is the popular actor you are biased towards, not the character they are attempting to portray), but I am pleased to report this was not the case in this drama. The saving grace of this show was the fact the actors took this basic story premise and infused their characters with so much thoughtfulness and care, that they become their character, if you will. Viewers can tell the actors took time and effort in preparation to understand their characters and their plight. This careful time and effort is what I call integrity, and when a drama has integrity, I can only applaud it. These are the dramas I am completely thankful and honored that I can stand by them and say they did miles more than the generic, formulated drama.
Because of the incredible cast, this drama truly is worth the watch to see how well they execute their character's personality and development.

Lately I have been watching a lot of korean dramas that just are so shallow and lacking that I haven't deemed them worthy to review, this definitely pulled me out of that stupor of 'korean dramas have turned to sh!t.' :P It's also been a long time for me since I binge-watched a drama and I just couldn't stop watching this one.
The story kept me guessing and was both so heart-wrenching and warm. Towards the end I cried a few times, but I find those dramas that make me cry get me so emotionally involved. The acting was great, obviously with Chun Jung-Myung and Choi Kang-hee was very convincing also. I hadn't really seen much of her acting apart from in Protect the Boss, so it was nice to see her in such a serious (?) role.
Honestly you should watch this right now!

Glad i listened to my heart to watch this
This is surprisingly fantastic . The Leads chemistry are off the charts . Although we have seen similar ML characters like combative and fighting with FL , this has done with such taste that i was able to enjoy the ML role that he doesnt come of like a criminally torturing FL.The chemistry between the Leads are super sweet and i dare say this is the one drama out of hundreds of Kdrama i watched the love triangle nailed perfectly , in retrospect i would say (Wok of Love ) also done it in a non threatening way.
Loved the story and how the leads found comfort in each other arms.
Definitely will watch it again in future.
