The music in this pretty much had like it's main theme song that carried through it. But as far as rewatch value goes it's one of those fun and short dramas you could watch again and again for it didn't have annoying crazy girls or overly evil mother or any of that it was just a fun watch on young relationships and friendships I'd give it a 10 on it being a current view on Thailand dating.

First review in a long while, for the first Thai drama I've ever completed. I didn't even remember why I decided to watch this in the first place. I've never came in contact with Thai drama, except for a few cuts of Full House (Thai). But it ended up raising my radar for Thai dramas.Storyline: CUTE, CUTE, and CUTE. Totally adorable. I know for some people, this drama might looks stupid, unrealistic, etc. But WHO CARES? This drama is supposed to be a no-brainer anyway. I really enjoys the chemistry and interaction between Joo & Seua. Oh the puppy love! It gives me butterfly every now and then. And... No spoiler, but just so you know, the ending might be even better than you imagine. LOL.
Actors: Even though the impression left by Joo's character is a little less than I've predicted, but others' character left a pretty deep impression for me, especially, Seua's character. He looks so damn fine & natural, it looks like he's acting as himself. And for some time, I was totally infatuated with Push, until I come to my sense. But that is how good his acting is for me. And for Bee's character, he's such a sweetheart! Would like to have a friend like him for myself.
Overall, if you're looking for a no-brainer, puppy love, all-rainbows-and-unicorn kind of drama, you might want to consider watching this one. The chemistry is perfect, the actors are outstanding, the storyline is light and fluffy. Definitely a must-watch for romance-lover out there.

What is the message?
I came across a fan-made music video of the leads to Ellie Goulding's Still Falling For You and it convinced me to watch this drama for the longest time. I am sad to say that the FMV was far better than the actual drama. The first thing I noticed was was the overall tone and style of acting. It was almost parody-like, and it felt like the acting was always dialed to 30% no matter how emotionally heavy the scene was supposed to be. I also had this issue with 2gether so I'm not sure if it's just a sign of the times, but the unconvincing acting made it so that none of the plot really felt emotional or high-stakes.
My biggest issue is probably with the social messaging, which turned out to be very self-contradictory.
So you have a main character who's only temporarily ugly because a procedure went wrong; this is actually a pretty good (and common) set-up for a previously shallow girl to realize there's more to life, but as the drama progressed the theme started getting muddled. There's a female character who's on the heavier side and the drama was filled with comments about her weight, but it was all played for laughs. Additionally, people would tell our FL that she just had to wait a year and then she would be pretty again, and as the drama went on, this did prove to be true and very quickly the drama changed from "women shouldn't let shallow judgements bring them down" to "women should appreciate men who like them when they're ugly, even when they become pretty again."
I felt a similar issue with the way the male lead's plot went — after so much character exploration around why he had to work so much and be so frugal and how it impacted his previous relationship, it would've been extremely interesting to see how his relationship with the FL would be different, considering that once again there would be a wealth gap. Instead, the drama went the easy route and made it so that he was secretly rich and there would be no family disapproval or long-term insecurity.
As a result, it felt like the drama focused instead on how they it was important for everyone to be ugly/poor (or pretend to be) at some point in their lives to test who really cared about them. The drama didn't explore the lives of anyone who actually was unattractive or unwealthy, and would never be able to change it.
I also just have a huge issue with how they destroyed the ML's character in the last few episodes. I liked his playfulness at the start; it was fun, albeit a little over-the-top sometimes, but playful MLs are my favorite archetype and I liked the he was genuinely nice. Once the female lead rejected him, however, he turned into a very typical Nice Guy™, slut-shaming her by saying her clothes were too revealing and she just wanted men's attention like all other shallow women, calling her a gold-digger who didn't like him because he was poor, and being stupid for not appreciating him for liking her when she was at her lowest. It made me not root for him at all and it really is the reason for my dropping my rating so much.
Despite all that, I still really think there is potential here and I wish the writing had taken itself more seriously to really reach that.

Super cute, we all need a P’Suea minus the obsessiveness
This is a super cute, short, funny happy drama with eye candy in the form of Mr Perfect, Push Puttichai. Super easy on the eyes and when he smiles... WTH. It is the brightest, sunniest and happiest smile you’ll ever see. Add to that those dimples.... ok, enough fan-girling and back to the review.I love that it’s short and that it has something of a message, I mean it is the Ugly Duckling séries after all. The FL is super cute and she captures a genuine sweetness through her acting that makes you just love her, her skin problems and all. But my fave character was Bee. I mean, talk about Queen. One of my favorite gay characters ever, and Thai l’aliéna have great gay characters - not just those stereotypes but really great characters who just happen to be gay. He was so supportive and so on-point. I want a friend like Bee!
As much as I loved P’Suea his character started to get overly obsessive and mean to the FL. I felt that they overdid it and it just made me dislike him for a second. Guess we can call is something of a character semi-arc (but not a full one).
So if you need a quick fun happy Thai lakorn to watch this is definitely the perfect choice. And best of all, you can watch it on YouTube with full Eng Subtitles which is a real treat bc Thai lakorns with Eng Subs are really hard to come by unless it was a super mega hit in Thailand. Which means, this one obviously was. :)

The story is very simple, yet unique. It holds many typical aspects of a rom-com, like cute romance, a dreadful love triangle, amazing side characters. an adorable main couple, and some great eye-candies. I found that the pacing (up until the last two episodes) were done amazingly. While each episode felt like it took a long time to end, I was never bored or tired of watched. It was fun and made me laugh and fangirl to my heart's delight. The ending was a bit rushed to me, especially since I felt so annoyed with the main characters!!
I loved all the characters and their development! The casting was done fairly well, and though some people didn't like Joo's acting, I thought she did a pretty good job. You could definitely see her improvement throughout the drama, which was a nice touch. All the characters brought some light into the drama and made it even more adducing.
At first, I didn't really care for the music. Nothing stood out and I didn't feel the need to buy them on iTunes or to download them. However, after 2 days of watching, I found myself humming the songs at school and realized how much i loved the soundtrack. The background music was always a nice touch, BUT MAN I LOVE JOO'S AND BEE'S RINGTONE! Excuse me while I go hunt these songs down on YouTube now, haha.
Again, I don't typically rewatch dramas, but i might go back and watch my favourite scenes again.
Yah, I had a fun time watching it, so I would definitely recommend checking it out. :)

Light hearted story
This is very lighthearted story , about finding the true sincere love. Finding a way to love ourselfs so others can fall in love with Us. I liked the story very much. Both Male and Female lead played they roles perfectly. This is one of those stories which you can rewatch many many times and will not get borring. I like the lessons in this story. Female lead love it that is this story she is kind hearted , friendly , maybe little naive yet her innocence is the point in this drama. Perfect female lead to this role and hell Yes we already know that P'Push is one of the greatest actors. Perfectly fittet into that role. Was this review helpful to you?
The only thing I didn't like was the ending, it was too much of a cliche.

The overall premise is searching for a love and friendship that isn't skin deep. Although you would think this should be the concept for all the Ugly Duckling stories, it is more so fitting this story, the starter, than any of the others. Since you have wealth and beauty as attractions.
It's a deep concept that's presented in a weak way but executed by attractive actors who are average at best and exhausting at worst. It's the comedic relief and attractive actors and to be honest the chemistry between the leads that make the story interesting and engaging.
As I said, I find it utterly addictive. I'll rewatch this to doomsday. My review may seem dismal, but again, it's worth the watch and rewatch, and rewatch, and rewatch, and rewatcch.
