Poignant, beautiful true story
This is such a beautiful war movie focusing on the power of music, children's innocence and sibling love. And the fact that it is based on a true story makes it even more poignant and beautiful. The cast was just flawless omg<3 and the child actors, especially the 2 siblings, completely stole the show away.
This war movie reminds you of how destructive war is in every way. It will leave you shaken and sad but hopeful. It takes you on an emotional ride and you will cry and smile with the characters. My favorite part was the portrayal of sibling relationships, which was beyond beautiful. Honestly, when it comes to family and sibling relationships, no other country comes even close to Korea. Kdramas/movies' family relationships are so heartfelt and memorable and truly on another level it is just insane!
This movie is a masterpiece and one of the top 5 most heartfelt and touching movies I've ever watched. Give it a try 100% if you haven't watched this gem already :,)
