This is the best drama of all times...

I have watched at least 150 plus kdramas, taiwanese and cdramas as well.. However, this ones simply outstanding. I am surprised by the ratings. It so deserves atleast a 9 or 9.5 . The storyline is mature, dialogue writing is impeccable and the cast is muaaaah.....Both the male and female leads are simply fabulous. He is suave , charming yet wacky and she is independent, confident , cognizant yet vulnerable... Both Roy chiu and alice ke have played their parts remarkably well.
Their chemistry is simply off the charts.... I shall not spoil the curiosity by putting in spoilers... Simply watch it... You wont regret!!!

i really loved chiu roy's expressions in this drama... i had watched joanne tseng in refresh man and had really liked her in it... initially it was very interesting and fun... but towards the last 5-6 episodes there came a lot of unnecessary drama... i really admired the friendship between the two female leads... i wanted hao sheng nan to meet a good guy in the end... but unfortunately, that didn't happen... at times i liked huan zhen's character and at times i hated her.. she rejected hao meng soo many times in the last few episodes but when he gave her an exaggerated proposal she accepted it... i liked the relationships of hao meng's and huan zhen's parents... overall, it can be considered as one time watch drama...

Very toxic story line....felt the female lead was horrible and lacked communication

The FL is a bad friend...I felt like their would be less drama if she could have just communicated with her friend. She could have explained to her long time ago because her friend is acting on hurt and seems to genuinely care for her...The ML and FL relationship was soo toxic and built of lies...and it was going good as they opened up but the FL has a communicating problem in general. Overall the acting and cast was really good...only the story was very.....annoying but I liked the character development

Marry me or not is one of the best Taiwanese dramas that I have seen so far! It deals with the complexity of love and friendship.

The story starts on the basis of misunderstanding and that is what builds the relationship between the leads. Their chemistry is dynamic. The kiss scenes are great..that is something I love on Taiwanese drama.

The chemistry between the siblings is great. They
have made me laugh so many times .

The character of FL isn't that common in dramaland. She chases after the things she want and can take a stand for herself. I fell in love with Roy chiu after watching this drama. He did great potraying the role of Hao meng.

I liked the music of the drama very much!

Overall this is a must watch drama if you want to watch something a bit complex yet not so emotional

I mostly watch Kdramas. I pick that one because I needed something new, different and simply a little break from Korean viewing. I am glad I picked this one because now I want to watch more of Taiwanese series from time to time. First of the record... Kdrama directors should really take an example of how kissing should be done. Honestly, right off the start, one thing that drew me to this series was super chemistry between main leads, and episode 12 kissing scene - off the roof!!!! Literally, one of the best, if not the best kissing scene I have seen so far in Asian dramas! This was honestly insane! That's how kissing should be done in more of Kdramas - no doubt!
As for the plot of the story, acting, music - it was a good touch. Predictable drama, but worth to watch.
Also, I loved how the revenge, and thinking of both leads grew into a real feeling of love.
I admit, sometimes the lead lady was a bit annoying, she grows on you in time and you understand why as the drama progresses towards the end. At moments the series were funny, you shed a tear from here to there, and you start loving the characters you even did not like before. Everyone did a decent work in this drama.
As for me after watching mostly Kdramas now I think I will shift my viewing to more Tdramas and Cdramas from time to time just because that one was fun to watch :).

hypocritical feminism

i dropped this after ep 3. It is very hard to find non simp ml nowadays in romance stories.. here I thought ml was different,, but in ep 3 they dropped the pretense.. he is another simp.. we are supposed to celebrate that the fl had 5 failed relationships before the ml but the ml has to be virgin. not only that, all these years he always loved the fl from highschool.. wtf??? out of all the men she dated one was his own fucking uncle. Imagine he is havind bed excercise with her and his unlcle in in the house too.. lol.. pathetic..
my problem is not that she had many boyfriends but the in your face speach at the wedding " I failed 5 times that does not mean I have comitment issue, it is that i have learned from the past, i will find my happiness" but guess what! her future husband can't be a tainted item like her, has to be pure... my foot.. i would have watched this if they did not make the ml only for her and that stupid 1st love connection.. imagine the ml thinking about how find his girl for a decade while his girl was having fun with 5 " fully committed " relationships... yeah, she does not owe him anything to stay single but to tell me that a successful men stayed single for a fleeting moment and willing to accept the girl who was having fun while he was waiting for her and one those funs were with his own uncle.. yeah r8.. that's not believable...... make the man just like her an i will watch it with popcorn

Super duper excited about this drama when it was announced. I had just finished Office Girls ( the first drama with the leads as an OTP) and i was looking for more of the couple. Marry Me or Not is the R rated version of Office Girls in my opinion.

Story set up was different, the female lead was hateful and very manipulative, traits usually reserved for second female leads, she needs to teach a class on how to manipulate. Even though she was a baddie in some respects i wanted to see her succeed in her plans. Honestly i was happy for this, dramas usually give the female lead the nice, optimistic, fluffy, characteristics..... This was a breath of fresh air. On the other hand we had the male lead wasn't a jerk or a rich boy, but a relationship pessimist that had never dated. He loved the environment and animals more than his job as a divorce lawyer. Those are very interesting personality traits to pair together, will they get along or claw at each others throats?

The entire cast have a past together, ex-bf, ex-bff, or siblings who get pulled into revenge plots. With that knowledge we get the first 3 relationships of the main cast. The first half of the story consist of several ruined relationships and surprising yet funny introductions. The interesting part starts with ridiculous antics of the main couple trying to out wit each other..or should i say out flirt each other. They both win points that are well deserved but only to the embarrassment/shame of the other. It was extremely funny and worth the week to week wait to see what would come next.
Acting for the most part was amazing, you could feel the pain or embarrassment through character portrayal or rolled your eyes at the lack of sympathy for those who didnt deserve it. There were plenty of characters to hate, some more than others. The second couple was less interesting to me and had half my attention during their scenes. They were less interesting in character, or story-line.

Music was decent, i enjoyed the opening song the first few times but i could have skipped it most episodes. The ending song was good and i always loved to hear it through out the drama or during the ending credits.
I did rewatch the first half of the drama as it aired and i would rewatch the drama in its entirety again but skip some of the ending episodes.
Overall i enjoyed this drama and would recommend it to everyone as a great Rom Com.

I started watching this after finishing Office Girls because I needed more Alice Ke & Roy Chiu in my life. Their chemistry is iconic and made the show so much more enjoyable. Overall it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The beginning is much more light-hearted than the later episodes, & the characters were all pretty terrible. Midway through, I was invested in the story & the characters. I wasn't sure what to expect because I had seen some mixed reviews because of some of the characters & their developments, but I ended up loving it.

Marry Me, or Not? is the best Taiwanese drama that I've watched so far.

The first few episodes didn't quite grab me but by episode 4, I was totally hooked.

The chemistry between Chiu Roy and Ke Alice was off the charts. They really sizzled on screen and their interactions were heartfelt.

The cinematography was beautifully done and the music was also very appropriate to each scene.

I loved the acting by all the cast, especially Ko Grace. She turned out be a very interesting mother-in-law to be. The character developments were the highlights of this drama. The characters felt real and their behaviours were understandable which is rare in a drama.

This is my first drama with Roy Chiu, and wow, he was fabulous. The man can act, he can do funny, sexy, charming and vulnerable.

I would highly recommend this drama to anyone interested in watching a lovely romantic drama with interesting and realistic characters.
