It's about a friendship between seven really different teenage girls that survives throughout time. It's a story about love and loyalty and how sweet memories can taste so that you smile every time you think about them. Everyone of us has those memories.
So this movie is about the real life. About the best times of our lifes. After watching it your heart will feel full, I promise.

This movie is about friendship and it is very close to reality. I think that is why it made me cry so much, both happy and sad tears. It made me miss my friends and made me wonder what will happen in the future.
The story is really good! The way they switched between past and present was really cool and the movie was very well directed. The costumes and music of the past were done really well. The camera work was really good. And it was a lot of fun to watch.
The acting was very good, of both teen and adult actors. I saw Sora for the first time on We Got Married. She's completely different from how she was there! Here she is a bad-ass leader of Sunny and I loved her! The other girls were pretty good too. Na Mi reminded me somewhat of Velma from Scooby Doo :P
They cast the adult actors pretty well too. The faces matched and it was like they were the older versions of the teen actors. So props to the casting directors for doing such a good job. Also, the situations in which all of the characters were, were very real. That's what I loved the most about this movie, it was very close to reality.
Either Kim Shi Hoo-ssi loves to play characters from the past or he has that kind of a face that the directors cast him as a 80s boy. He played the same kind of role in Love Rain and I was pleasantly surprised to see him in this movie. The crush thing was so cute! It brought back memories of my first crush :P
I would highly recommend this movie even if you don't watch Asian movies. This movie is really well done, the acting is really good, the story is amazing and touching and it is definitely worth your while.

Story 10/10 : WOW! JUST WOW. The story is very unique(at least for me). It intertwines both the past and the modern time in a very, very interesting and easily understandable way.
Cast/Acting 10/10: The cast was lovable and the actors made that happen extremely well .
Music 8/10: The music was great and served its purpose quite well. However, it wasn't 10/10 material for me. Just my personal opinion, don't know why or how, but thats just how I feel.
Rewatch Value 5/10: I'm not a rewatcher so I most likely wont watch this movie again.
Overall 10/10: This movie stunned me. I don't know how to describe it, but it was amazing. It's not action packed, but more about friendship and the effect of years on people. I especially enjoyed their transformations.

This movie is a very touching movie, I guess in one word I would describe it as inspirational. I hope that one day I will meet friends just like the member of Sunny and have the same relationship as them.
The story line was amazing! It was never slow or lagging behind to the point where I had to fast forward it. There was never a dull moment in the movie. Ever second I was lured into the movie either because of the emotions the characters showed and because of the story itself.
The acting/cast was PERFECT. Honestly, it's a miracle that the directors were able to find such perfect actors and actresses that were able to portray their characters incredibly. Also all the actors and actresses were beautiful.
The music even though some of the music was... how should I say it... "old styled?" I still liked it because it was catchy to the point where it got stuck in my head and made me want to Google up the lyrics for the song and find the music.
I would totally re-watch the movie. Usually I'm very picky about re-watching stuff but... this... this is worth re-watching because it has life lessons in it, and the story and plot actually seem realistic to me. Watching the movie didn't make me think "Ohh, this is so unreal this would never happen in real life". I was glad because it someone shows the truth behind an all girls school. Even though people hardly see it, there are actually girls like that. (I know from experience)
Overall, I would actually give this movie a 11/10! For me, now a days I find it hard to find movies and dramas that catch my attention because I feel as though I've watched it all but luckily this movie caught my attention thanks to WGM (We Got Married). So anyways, I would recommend this movie to people who want to watch a heart-touching movie about seven women who were friends in high school able to reunite after 25 years.

I was kind of doubtful whether I would like it or not because this movie is SO highly talked about. I realized my doubts were wrong. Sunny is a great tale of friendship. I love stories which focus on the bond between females rather than just bromance. It was nice to watch a movie dominantly on the power of female friendship.
I know I am not that old yet but it still made me think of my school days. This movies very deeply brings back memories of school, the first crush, friends and mostly- the time of our lives. It was so relatable. A lot of aspects of it were so realistic that I couldn't help but giggle.
I assure you, you will be wanting to have a posse like them by the end and you would want to be with them the same the way they are in the movie. Their love for each other only proves how it doesn't really matter how much time has passed. Friendship really is a forever thing.
I loved the way they handled the ending because it was almost sad but then you're reminded of the awesomeness the females possess and they are dancing till the end anyway. Daebak!

The plot was great. Absolutely compelling the whole way through, never getting boring or uninteresting at any moments. The story of Na Mi wanting to reunite all of them together after many years of being separated brought a very light-hearted feel to this film. Throughout watching this, I laughed, I cried (buckets of tears), and found myself smiling at their unbreakable bond of friendship. This film definitely left me feeling hopeful that I too can find a bond like this.. Absolutely inseparable no matter how far apart you are, or how ever long you are separated. I can only thank the amazing actresses who brought these characters to life: Both the young and adult actresses. They made the characters their own, and felt real with their portrayal.
If you say you didn't like the music, you are lying to yourself. There wasn't any specific OST to this film, but the song "Sunny" sung by Bonny M was the most perfect song you could ever pair with this film (and no, not cause of the matching titles). I found myself listening to this song on repeat day in and day out, and to this very moment I'm still not sick of it. A very upbeat song that turned a sad moment into a happy one (you'll know what I mean once you see the ending).
Overall.. If someone tells you to watch this film, YOU DO IT. I 100% guarantee you won't regret it, but prepare a box of tissues, because this is a tear-jerker ;)

This movie is not about epic romances but rather about those timeless memories we made and continue to make with our friends. When I think about it, I feel friendship is a relationship in its purest form. Their is no blood involved. There is no give-and-take. You can just be yourself around your friends and along the way learn a thing or two from them. I think friends are what make this journey of life truly worthy and fun.
Loved the plot. Loved the characters and acting. Especially Kang So Ra. While watching Dream High 2 I was wondering why everyone was so obsessed with her. Now I know! She's great in this movie. But then again, so is the rest of the cast. Loved the witty dialogues. The writer surely has a really great sense of humor XD Loved the ending. I was laughing and crying all at once.
Will watch it again for sure!

This movie shows the bond of seven different kinds of people. They have different dreams, interests, and yet their friendship is so beautiful. It's the kind of friendship that makes you brave and feel at ease because you know your friends are trustworthy and worth keeping. Theirs is a story that could make one feel nostalgic, no matter how old or young one may be.
Now, there may be some who, like me, may be shocked by the amount of cursing here, but once one got over it, it doesn't matter anymore. It even adds to the humor of the film.
The cinematography is done well. It shifts from the present to the past of the characters and the transitions are done very smoothly through the use of tricks in the camera. Moreover, the changes/development and feelings of each character are greatly emphasized with this.
I cannot describe how satisfied I am by the acting of everyone, especially the teen and grown-up actresses for the members of Sunny. Well executed, indeed.
The songs played in the movie are well chosen. The English songs that are used are the kind that my parents love to listen to so I'm delighted to hear them here. They match the atmosphere the story is making.
Everyone should give this a try. A story of a timeless friendship is always refreshing to watch. I'd love to re-watch this, no matter how many times, with the presence of friends who I'd love to share this story to.

I love love love romance in any movie but I didn't mind at all that there really wasn't any in this movie because it didn't need it at all. The story of the girls friendship was strong enough to keep the movie going. And the cast was extremely cute and funny throughout the whole movie and during the emotional scenes they acted well.
To my surprise there was a lot of fighting. which i don't mind at all because they made some scenes hilarious.
would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Story- It wasn't a completely original or necessarily a new plot but the execution was almost flawless, each character was individual and unique. The story spent a long time in the past, and it worked because we got to know them in the past before we saw them in the future. The only downside and its not really a downside, is maybe they could have made it a little longer so we could understand their lives a little better.
Acting- Just great! I don't really know Kang So Ra so I'm not biased but my favorite character was Sunny's leader Ha Chun Hwa she's feisty and loyal.
Music- I loved all the 80's music... surprisingly even though they were American songs they worked really well. They made the scenes funnier at times, and more touching.
I'd watch it again, and if you're considering whether to watch it definitely do. It's not too heavy, but its touching enough to leave an impact, but not the type that makes you feel depressed but the type that makes you feel like seeing all your friends.
