Police officer Phakhin is sent to the island village of Ploi Ko with his long-time rival and colleague, Wiriya, to investigate the illegal drug trade. Undercover, Phakhin and Wiriya enter the village as a pair of married teachers and begin teaching at the Ploi Ko Witthaya school. They work alongside fellow police officer Danai who's been working the case for many years already. In Ploi Ko village, the officers face many challenges, but along the way, Phakhin meets the bright young daughter of the village doctor — Tawan.
