This movie is one of the best Lesbian films I've ever watched! Even tho some parts can have bad things like some of the acting or the editing. But that didn't really bother me.I remember watching this at like 2 in the morning and I smiled throughout the whole movie. Except for the last when Pat dies. I cried my heart out on that. This movie is made so well to get you attached to the characters and love them, but then ending it off sad. The sad ending also connects to gay rights in Thailand. I had so many emotions in the last parts of the movie that I can't even explain. Was is anger? sadness? scaredness? I don't know.
I just got so attached to Pim and Pat. I LOVED how they had their own little cafe, it was so good. It was also refreshing to not see the city. In all Thai shows or movies, I have watched The stranded and 1448 Love Among Us was not in a huge city. It was calm and relaxing to see.
8/10 would recommend

This movie is more about the law 1448 than a love story between two women.
The movie does not draw much attention to me in any specific aspect other than the director's clear intention to expose a problem that is still very current in Thailand: laws that instead of helping a couple of the same gender, make it very difficult for both of them to enjoy basic rights that straight couples already have. The story is very rushed, I think it's because the message they wanted to pass was too long for two hours, so I was not able to get very involved with the characters as well as the relationship. It has many clichés and unfortunately falls into the well-known lesbian films with tragic endings.
