the main leads are great, so much so that the 2nd leads just annoyed me. Why were we spending screen time on them when we could have been watching Win and Wan Neung? Their chemistry was amazing. Wan Wan is a truely diabolical villian, even if he is a caricarture and very static. there are some really great supporting actors who did fantastic things with poorly written roles. Lukpit and Tom were really no more than the animal side kicks from a Disney movie, there to show us how we should feel and make us laugh a bit. the actors brought a lot to their respective roles even if the characters did tend to disappear for long stretches only reappearing to make story telling easier.
the only song that sticks out is what i think is the OTP's theme, it's song by a woman and it's lovely with just enough pep to make it stick in your head in a good way.
i will totally rewatch this. maybe tomorrow. it's one of only a handful of thai dramas i've watched and i hear it's actually quite a bit different than your standard Lakorn. if Thailand keeps making such delightful rom coms i will definitely watch.

The drama itself is a treat to watch. It has a little slow starting but do stick through it cos it turns out to be very cute and hilarious later on. I really like the chemistry between the main couple and the story itself was quite engaging. It was funny how you would not care about the second leads at all after a while, so you are free to skip through their scenes. The supporting characters were really nice in this drama too.
I loved the music too. It was quite catchy as i found myself humming the songs with broken lyrics for a while. Watch it watch it watch it and i know you won't regret it!

I'm not going to lie to you, I skipped some parts where it just seemed to drag on, I watched every part where Win and Wan Neung were together though, because their acting was on point and the chemistry was great! the leads had a lot of skinship as well and I guess that made it better. (remember to not squeal too much at the hugging and teasing touches)
the second leads were quite great as well, their story was nice too and they acted really well.
the actor who acted WanWan is simply brilliant! his acting is so great and even though I hated him as a villain but his way of talking and portraying the character is fascinating.
I don't really know how I feel about Guy, He didn't appear much and gave off a bad vibe but shoot me if i wasn't attracted to him. (his voice, kill me)
for Lukpit and Tom, they were pretty good, mostly side characters who only appear from time to time to make the story go faster I suppose, they weren't really that important but the presence of Tom had an impact on Wan Neung, the actor just wasn't present alot. Lukpit did a great job acting as the gay best friend, he was so cute and his creepy smiles were the best.
I really liked the music and there was this one song which I loved alot and now its stuck in my head, I wish I can download it because its stuck in my head and I'm going crazy.
for the rewatch value, I suppose I wouldn't really rewatch it any time soon, I'd probably watch clips on youtube for their best moments together, Win and Wan Neung I mean, and thats about it, because its too long for me to rewatch.
as an overall I'm giving this 7.5 because I really did enjoy it and when I didn't watch it I would still be thinking about when I can actually finish what I was doing and go watch it, but because they used a lot of 'flashbacks' I'm taking a few points away I suppose.

I wanna be a sup'tar was such a nice coincidence for me. I found about this drama thanks to a fan video on Youtube and decided to give it a try after watching the great chemistry between the leads. I was not disappointed. Actually what made this show so enjoyable and addicting to me were the leads. Their chemistry was so strong and their story was so beautiful and funny to see.
The way they meet and how the relationship develops is nothing new in Dramaland (it's a common formula known by everyone) but it works during 26 episodes just fine. I never felt the need to skip although not every character was loveable or nice, I never felt bored, I was genuinely invested in our leads stories, especially in our heroine's story. She was my favorite character of the show, she was funny, quirky and crazy and Gypso did a great job protraying her. Also our male lead, he was (of course) breathtakingly handsome, funny, and he was also crazy (in his own way) not as much as our female lead tho hehe.
Something I loved about this drama so much was that we could truly see how much they loved each other and how strong their love grew. Specially with the male lead, what he did for love and how he changed for love was beautiful to see. He really loved her a lot. I also loved the cohabitation trope. This was like a mix between Full House and Personal Taste.
The side characters were perfect in my opinion. They had the right amount of screentime and interaction with our leads. The actors did an amazing job with everyone. The villian was on point (he was a crazy one but on point) The cinematography and the places were beautiful to see too. Also the ost was just right.
I'm 100% sure that I will rewatch this soon. (maybe right after finishing this review lol) And I recommend this to anyone wanting a light rom com with great chemistry.

So, what can I say about this drama? Even though Push and the plot were my driving forces, right from the start the one who stole the spotlight was the female lead. It's not easy to enter a new turf (Thai drama) with unknown actors, unknown language and unknown humor. But Gypso (let's cut her name a little here) did everything right from the first moment on and therefore convinced me right away. Even though I can't yet compare her with other Thai actors, I dare say that she's got a unique way of acting. She's charming, her humor is brilliant and she masters this thin line between silly and serious perfectly. And she has this beautiful, beautiful smile.
Don't chop off my head, dear Push-fans. Yes, he only got second place. I'm not saying he was bad, he was great and did everything right as well, was charming, mesmerizing and everything you can think of. He just lost to his female counterpart. But, and that's even more important, Push and Gypso worked damn well together. There was harmony and sparkle and balance. Without these things I wouldn't have been able to root for them. But I did, ohh, how I did, indeed. Who wouldn't?
One might get restless, because it took a while until that dissimilar couple got along alright. It's what I actually liked so much, because during that time all the small things made Win (Push) and WanNeung (Gypso) slowly growing closer. And with that it also made my affection for them growing as well.
As for the second leads. Yes, they were annoying in the beginning and even more in the middle. Most of all because of their possessive behavior over their friend/ex-lover and their "I know what's best for him/her"-way of thinking. In the end though - and I didn't think my opinion about them would change like that - I saw actual character development. The way the female second lead, May, realized that she was living in the past and still didn't see the fault in her actions. Her counterpart, the male second lead, MeeDee, was a weaker character but in the end the key she needed.
And not only them, of course also the leads experienced that noticeable change. The leads did mistakes as well, especially Win. Trying to solve a bigger problem with good intentions, but then hurting other people along the way. WanNeung made her own mistakes, yes she was naive sometimes, but I couldn't really be angry with her. She's young and wanted to achieve her dream, and I would never say that she acted dumb in her situations. The only thing I could hold her up to would be that she was a bit slow in reading her surroundings. So, all known tropes aside, this drama had many moments that went deeper than I'd expected.
When I think about the skinship in this drama, I get all the feels. It's everything for me. Some touching, hugging, caressing, all of those things here and there while the couple is not yet a couple, but their little gestures already show how much they care for each other.
And let me say something about the kisses. Yes, they got frozen ones as well. But funny thing, these ones still look more passionate than Korean paralyzed pecks, because there is still some small but notable movement AND they actually press their lips onto each other instead of just innocently brushing that sensible skin.
I also have to mention what a large group of gay people there was. It was like one big gathering where everyone could have had feelings for everyone, no matter the gender. Some could argue about whether it was too much or just right. I for myself enjoyed it because it was refreshing and opened up new constellations. The whole "innocent girl lives together with a gay male"- thing got new turns thanks to that. And can I say how much I loved WanNeung's gay best friend? For real. I mean, yes, it's not unusual to put the female lead together with such a friend. But you can also overdo it and make it look silly. LukPit though felt real and pure and authentic, that I really wish I would have a friend like that.
The only person that didn't fit in was the character named "Guy". Seriously, where did they got him? He had zero acting skill and only one or two facial expressions which never expressed anything at all. I've never seen such a fail in casting. It's the first time I would indeed think that some very rich connection got the dude that role.
This was my 3rd Thai drama. I shied away from them in the past because of certain violent acts that Lakorns are famous for. But I got lucky with this, like I was with Ugly Duckling: Perfect Match just before, which put me on the Push-train... Damn, that boy got a body and they certainly know how to shape it even more in their dramas. He makes me feel ashamed for drooling over him.
With that said, happy watching!

Only for Push's or Ghypso's fans !
I admit that I came to this series for Push and it is well rated. However, I struggled to get to the end!PLOT: meeting & cohabitation between 1 ML star more or less fallen out of favor (scandal) and 1 FL who wants to become a star without having any network or training. Ex-manager shenanigans, competition, lingering ex-girlfriend, etc. Construction of the FL's career with the ML's help.
BUT the usual flaws of the lakorns, are here brought to the maximum:
- unbearable comedy on the first 6-7 episodes (caricatural characters, screams, everything is overplayed, etc.). I know that Thai people like this kind of humor, but for me, it's really too much!!
- FL character not believable (I'm not questioning the talent of the actress Ghypsos, she was ordered to play that), but a super naive girl, who can neither sing, nor dance, nor act, and who wants to become a star :) :) :) She is gullible, trusts everyone,... Seriously ?
- always the same permanent music, too loud.
Fortunately, there is Push to support the many unbearable characters (so exaggerated that they are stereotypes, particularly the gay characters, who except the best friend of ML, play into typical gay men cliches).
The story is relatively well constructed, but the ending is a little disappointing as far as the CL is concerned. We would have liked to see them more.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This review may contain spoilers
I decided to start this drama for two reasons: (1) my new addiction to Thai dramas and (2) my newest drama crush: Push (Puttichai Kasetsin). I'd heard of him and had been consciously avoiding him for a while as I foresaw that I would get sucked into his world like a black hole. And as soon as I caved, that's exactly what happened! This man is not only one of the most beautiful men on the planet, he is also an outstanding actor, that it almost seems unfair. I saw four of his dramas in a few short weeks. But it was this one that I hadn't been able to move on from that I felt inclined to write a review. What surprised me though was that I loved this drama because of Gypso Ariigantha Mahapreukpong just as much as Push. She is equally wonderful here that they're my favorite pairing to date.As a further prelude, I want to say that as much as I love this drama, I almost dropped it at one point. Although I felt all kinds of emotions that I wanted to articulate, I didn't want to write a review at first because the overwhelming feeling at the end was disappointment. Only after watching it a second time was I able to better digest what I saw and felt enough love for the drama again to conduct this review. That's why objectively speaking, I would rate it an 8 but my heart says 9.5, so I settled for an 8.5 here.
I read some comments and reviews prior to my watch so I was prepared for what was ahead of me. I agree that the drama has a slow start as it takes some time in setting up the story. Wanneung (Gypso) is a struggling actress. At one point, Win (Push) describes it as such, that "she had nothing but her dream". And that pretty much sums her up as the story begins. There is nothing in her head except to be a Dara (famous actress), even though she appears to have no talent nor an agent or mentor to help her reach her goal. Her parents got so fed up with her pipe dream that they sold their house and went abroad, leaving Wanneung behind. Win, a former celebrity, turns out to be the new owner but she decides to stay anyway, unbeknownst to Win. Her behavior reminded me of news from years ago of a Japanese woman living secretly in some guy's apartment for months without his knowledge. I know that sounds creepy but thank goodness it's amusing here. Win thinks the house is haunted because of her sneakiness, until he catches her one day sleeping in his backyard. This scene is what sealed the deal for me. We are at episode 3 at this point and this first full, real interaction between the two of them had me in stitches. They play off each other so well; they are fantastic together that I knew I was in for a treat.
Wannueng's opportunity to stay comes in the form of snooping reporters waiting to accost Win at his house about his return to Thailand after having left the entertainment industry five years ago. Win lets Wanneung stay in exchange for helping lie to the reporters that the house is hers. And that's how the cohabitation hijinks begans. And boy, were they entertaining! They had me cracking up left and right. Also, Wanneung has no qualms about unintentionally getting into situations with Win skinship-wise because she thinks he's gay, to which Win doesn't bother to correct her; which, by the way, is funny at first but exasperating in the latter half with how confused he makes her. I don't know how she can believe him in the beginning though when the sexual tension is there on full display.
I know there were some who described Gypso as "overacting" as Wannueng. I thought she is somewhat like an anime character in the beginning. Perhaps that's what put some people off but I found that sort of wackiness entertaining rather than silly. It didn’t take long for me to like her; she is hilarious. And don't think for a second that Win is normal, lol. They are perfect for each other. He draws lines all over the house to signify "your side" and "my side." I laughed every time they are in the living room bickering and see how much couch space he has compared to her little spot at the end of the blue couch. And then seeing much later, from him happily removing those lines while waiting in anticipation for her to notice when she gets home, to her perfect, delightful reaction to it…like, I couldn't handle all that cuteness. Also, I loved the fact that although the comedy tones down as we settled in, it never disappears. The lighthearted banter between the two is consistent throughout the drama.
With respect to other characters, I didn't care for the second leads at all. I skipped most of their scenes. But I really liked Lukpit and Tom, who play Wanneung and Win's friends respectively. Lukpit is the perfect sidekick to Wanneung. He is probably the only other person who can handle Wanneung's quirkiness aside from Win. Tom is the voice of reason for Win. Honestly, I don't know what would have happened if Tom hadn't been patient enough to explain to Win how much of an idiot he is being when it comes to love.
The villain in the story is WanWan, who is Win's former manager. He ruined Win's career by tricking Win into appearing in a scandalous video five years ago. WanWan is the kind of person who will stab you in the back while you hugged him. He will destroy you in the most despicable way possible. I was disgusted by his actions that I skipped almost all of the scenes involving him and his scheming because I felt uncomfortable and I think that was intentional.
At this point, I want to expand on my disappointment with the show as I had mentioned earlier. Many criticized the female lead, however, my dissatisfaction was in the male lead's character. Wanneung may have been naive but at least she is honest. She wears her heart on her sleeves. And I can't fault her for misunderstanding when she is left in the dark for longer than necessary. Win, on the other hand, is frustratingly silent at times. And if there is a compelling reason, I'd have understood. But there really isn't a concrete logic to support his reluctance to open up to the person who obviously matters most to him. What is he afraid of? Half the problems they face could have been avoided if he'd been more honest. And how could he have let Wanneung stay under WanWan's management fully knowing what WanWan is capable of? I understand Win doesn't want to get in the way of Wanneung's rising status. But knowing her personality, she'd have done everything she could to get out of that contract if she knew the truth. There were times when I was swooning and then there were times when I wanted to smack Win upside the head for being so idiotic. I think this is just weak writing. I recognize that conflict is necessary to keep the story moving forward. But I would have kept watching even if there wasn't any ridiculous plot device to fill all 26 episodes. Their growing love is what had me watching. The closer they get, the more I adored them for the reasons I described that even if everything is peachy, I would have gladly watched it. The last episode, especially, felt like our feelings were being toyed with because we had to put up with so much BS before we get our rushed happy ending. I resented the writer for that.
Be that as it may, I want to end on a good note all things considered, so I want to talk about what Win does right. For him, it is that actions spoke louder than words. One of the first major steps he takes that illustrates his love for Wanneung is in accepting a big budget film role that he previously hadn't given much thought to just so he can support Wanneung in landing a role. This is a big deal because it also means that he'd be stepping back into the entertainment circle that had so cruelly treated him five years ago. He straight up tells the director he won't act in the movie if she doesn't get to as well. He has seen how much she wants to be an actress, how much she has been struggling and it pains him to see that things aren't working out for her. He wants to provide an opportunity for her to live up to her potential. He then offers to coach her on acting. His genuine care and guidance brings out the serious and talented side in her and it is just the support she needs to be able to fly on her own to stardom.
I can’t express enough on how much joy I felt in watching Win go from a grumpy housemate to a teasing friend to a nurturing mentor who loves Wanneung so much he doesn’t care who gets hurt in his efforts to keep her safe, including himself. Or the times he beams with happiness watching Wanneung’s reactions to all the little things he creates to make her happy. And Wanneung has the best reactions! Her astonished excitement and exclamations had me laughing; she is so endearing. Everything just felt so real between these two. These are the moments that made me love the drama so much and left me wanting more.
The music in the drama blended well with the story without being intrusive. The comedic scenes sound cheerful and fun. There is a recurring song sung by Gypso herself that is so, so sweet. I loved hearing it every time it comes on. Push sang for the drama as well. I didn’t like his song that much until it accompanies their time in Phuket and I was sold!
Let me end my long review to say all that may have just been me fangirling over these two. But in all seriousness, it’s a great romantic comedy. My recommendation is to watch this drama twice to enjoy it to its fullest. Trust me, it will be a better experience the second time around and one that will stay with you for a long time.

Every time a lakorn seems to be not quite my cup of coffee and I would wish for it to just pass quickly and rather show me the best it has to offer sooner than later, it has TWENTY SIX episodes, lol.
So, the main girl is an aspiring actress, who does nothing else but go to castings. Unfortunatelly, she really can't act. Nevertheless, she doesn't think it a problem and keeps going on castings, never getting any part (though some casting agents remember her already). She lost her house which has been sold to the guy portrayed by Putt Putichai. She thinks it's not a problem for her to keep living there, as the guy mainly keeps on ground floor. Therefore, she stays on the first floor, sneaking in and out and hiding her things. Whenever the guy hears or sees something he considers the house haunted and her a ghost. It's silly but it's funny because though he's not my type Putt Putichai can act it, unfortunatelly the lead girl isn't so funny because the actress is not very good one, just similarly to her portrayed character. She's also got Tao Sattaphong wanting to be her boyfriend but she brushes him off. Clearly something with her eyesight, too.
She appears on his posh birthday party dressed as a clown with a banana sticking to her head. It's funny towards his stuck up parents else it's unexplicable why he keeps pursuing her. I'm on a verge of dropping this series but someone said it's really different after first 6 episodes. I'll try to wait it out but it's really loong. It's supposed to be better than 'Waen Dok Mai', but it's not.
I like the house, it looks pirotesque. But that's the only thing I like in this series;)
I watched episode 7, as that was supposed to be better. The only thing I could relate is I would really not wish to share house with either the Gypso Ariigantha's character or Putt Putichai. Just watching, both were strongly getting on my nerves. Tao Sattaphong is attractive as always, the way he can look with those eyes of his. But he's got only the 9 years older Woonsen to look at. Could he just walk off to some other series? I would sure follow him. Ugh... Yet another scene with Putt & Gypso. There was definitely too many of them.
It's hard to watch a series where I wish to skip scenes of the main characters.
