8/10 - Emotions are running high, my patience... thin.

Where do I start? 4th prince is manipulative. He cares for Lady Soo, sure. However, I CANNOT and WILL NOT overlook that forced kiss. Kissing her without consent, seeing how scared she is in the current moment? Hell no. The 8th prince is more to my liking. "I want to give you the love I never showed Lady Hae," he said. While I can't agree with that way of thinking, I respect it. Because the 8th prince had feelings for Lady Soo long before Lady Hae's death. He regrets not loving his wife as he should. So with his new love, he wants to make every moment count. But he isn't trying to be reckless about it. He's waiting for the right moment, unlike Prince So (4th prince). It's annoying to me that Prince So is glorified as this amazing guy when he's literally written in history as a mass murderer. Whether he's doing for Lady Soo, or for himself, or both. It's NOT okay. I cry for Lady Soo, she should take Lady Oh up on her offer and go with her to that hometown. Filter out all the toxicity in that palace. Palace life seems overrated.

Midway: Scarboy is Kinda Cute

- Good: great cinematography is continuing. Scarboy is becoming a better and more full character. I don’t feel toxicity because he seems so vulnerable and innocent. I like how she helped him take the mask off.Baekhyun is still so cute and I love his new wife. He looks so nice without the ponytail. I like the new girl that was introduced I have hopes for a good relationship with Baek Ah. I think she will be super interesting. The crown prince is getting more of a backbone. TOYBOX SCENE!!!- Bad: Hae Soo is so annoying and I hate that all the brothers are obsessed with her and treat her like they have known her their whole lives. I hate how there was a plot where she was about to marry the king and then they just pretended like that never happened. And then she is a servant now??? I’m also kinda over the 8th prince. He got over his wife way too quickly and his whole character revolves around Hae Soo now. Why is that one brother who I always forget still in it? Either give home more or completely cut him off. I get bored with all the court drama, it’s just not my thing. The sister is just kinda annoying and honestly not a great villain. SIDEPARTS AND PONYTAILS CAN GO TO HELL.- Predictions: 8th prince will try to kill 4th prince. Bacon and his wife will fall in love. Hae Soo is going to end her relationship with 8th prince by episode 13. Sister teams up with evil prince. The gisaeng is more than just that, she is def hiding something and has some addenda against the royal court, but she and Baek Ah will fall in love.

Intense begining and ending!

Going in to episode 10 I was very fearful. I thought things where gonna hit the fan in a big way, and that we had hit a turning point after the forced kiss. Personally I hate forced kisses. However, I give the writer and director props. That moment when So realized he had done something wrong. Then when he says he doesn't think like others and he wouldn't be sorry for it. Well played. Even later when talking to the 13th brother he mentions that he doesn't think the same as everyone else. When you're a friend or potentially something more, his emotions for you are intense. So doesn't have an in-between. Again. Well played.

I do like seeing how Soo is handling her romantic love triangle--well technically there are two other princes who dig her, but they don't really count and they are being handled well.

Oh, that moment with Wook! It was beautiful and I'm so happy about it. It makes me so sad that we're up to episode 10 and So side of the triangle really hasn't been developed. So much time and emotions have been setup for Wook and Soo. Sure we can argue for So, but it's true.

In the end I did find this episode a bit duller and the plot to be . . . not that great. I see where things are turning. Right now I think someone needs to knock off the Queen and Princess. End the scheming right there! After all everyone else is just a pawn. The previews for the next episode are scary! However, it's a silly ploy as we know that So and Soo can't be killed off. That's why the plot is dull, though from mean people kind of leaking spoilers I think I know where it may be going and I do like that. Soo shouldn't be so sure that So is going to be the killer. A lot of people are going to be wronged and ticked soon. Who knows how many people will end up seeking vengeance?

I bet the role of second wife will be looking really good soon.

Both the beginning and the ending was sooo…

Both the beginning and the ending was sooo intense...
Lee Joon Gi is so good on his role that is able to make me feel what Wang So is feeling, just by looking on his eyes, he portrayed so well the hesitation to drink the poisoned tea and the same time the strength to oppose his mother.
When Wang So went to the beach with Hae Soo he showed that he is determined to make her his, he know what he wants, he will not give up even if its one sided.
He had lived all his life fighting to get what he want unlike Wang Wook who its not his fault for not being used taking risky chances.
Still don't know which prince to support but I am happy that at least Hae Soo stoped treating Wang So badly.
