It's kind of similar. I know someone recommended Love O2O, and this is basically that show except it's a movie. Ofc the premise is a little different and the main characters are not aspiring actors/actresses, but the gaming aspect is there. As soon as I heard Lu Wan Wan I was like no way someone hasn't recommended this. Someone did in fact recommend the show Love O2O, but at least I get to recommend the movie. I enjoyed both the show and the movie, I'd say watch the movie if you want to enjoy it faster or the show if you want to drag out the romance. Either way, both are great and have similarities to Double Love.
The movie version of Love O2O.
Its based on the novel "One smile is very alluring. It has manga adaptation and drama adaptation, but this movie adaptation was done better. THE ACTRESS is FREE and shes NOT stiff with the kissing scenes. Love how the connection between the"main male lead" and "main female lead"
I've watched this actress's drama "General and I", and I love her. She's such a talent. I think that there is no emotion that she couldn't express, nor character that she couldn't act.
I'm not exaggerating ... cuz u need to watch to make your own conclusion.

Both the movies have good chemistry between the characters. Simple love stories with not lot of complicated characters.
Both movies have a drama version.
Both the dramas are better than the movies, as you can see the growth in the characters. Would recommend watching the dramas related to these movies as well.

One Smile is Very Alluring is the movie version of Love O2O (and I actually liked the movie version a little better). Both dramas are about gaming and both involve the plot of a guy that is amazing at games falling in love with a girl that's also really good at games. Both also have a kind of cold, aloof, and popular male lead who always protects the female lead. Highly recommend watching the other if you liked one of the two :)
Depicts the forbidden romance between an idol and the otaku who has serious feelings for her. The main character is Onodera Mimika, a second-year high school student who is the center member of the increasingly popular idol group Tetra but has concerns regarding her future. One day, after the words of her fan Keita resonate deeply with her, she heads towards where he works at his part-time job and thus, crosses the barrier between idol and fan.
- the main leads meet in a game
- the focus is on their romance
This is a movie version, but there is also a drama series called "Love 020" which is longer. I personally prefer the film because of the two main leads. The movie can be found here:
