Same plot. Popular but snobby teacher (male lead) at a special training center fall in love with female lead who is one of the newer teachers.

Drinking Solo and Black Dog both centre on the educational system on South Korea.

While in Drinking Solo -which has a lighter feel- de follow teacher in an academy for aspiring civil servants, Black Dog -which has a darker ambiance- is about the daily life of teachers in a high school

Both have...
- the same screenwriter
- a variety of office/co-worker relationships
- simple but sweet and light hearted plot
- several people with different personal struggles
- Big and younger "brother" fall in love with the same girl
- KIM WON HAE

Both dramas follow lives of people who, after their busy work, head to a bar for a bottle (or two!) of soju. Both dramas focus on drinkig culture, food, everyday life issues and crazy epic friendship dynamics (for WLDN it's 3 main female leads, for DS it is Noryangjin male trio)

Both dramas have similar kind of high and mighty, narcissistic MLs who look down on FL all the time, then later fall madly in love haha. And both MLs are considered as the best in their industry. FLs are not much great at their profession at first, but become better under ML's guidance.

Both don't have chaebols, both have mukbang and most importantly characters you can relate to.

- same office situation- a really good cram school teacher vs a not too good one
- drinking solo is more about their relationship, while lions pride involves mystery and some crime solving
- male ml in lion pride is not developed well- the transition to being nicer to the FL is pretty abrupt
- second lead syndrome ... yeah its here

if you want the same overall dynamic, id say this is the way to go

Both revolve around studying and education. Drinking solo focuses on the teachers romance whereas cheese in the trap revolves around students and student life issues

There is a lot of drinking in both dramas. But aside from that, both dramas have same kind of mellow atmosphere. Main guys are both pretty arrogant and the main girls pretty nice.

The leads in both dramas are happy living solo until they fall in love. Also both of them have Gong myung.

Even though the plot lines are different, both dramas have same kind of "freshness" to them. All characters are well written and have their place in the story, it really feels like you are watching a story about REAL people. In both dramas main characters are goofy and innocent type.
