I'll keep this review short.Have you every had an empty feeling after watching a great show? After watching The K2, I felt a deep void. This show is amazing and I loved watching it the first time especially because everything was fresh to me. The second time I watched it I couldn't have the same feeling ever again because I already knew what was going to, which is why I felt that empty feeling when I finished that last episode. I actually watched this show a few months ago and I still really love it. The one this I didn't like was the An na character. She was kinda annoying in the show and I didn't really like her ending up with K2. I loved Choi Yoo Jin so much and I felt kinda disappointed when she didn't end up with the ML. I felt such good chemistry with Yoo Jin and K2 way more than K2 and Anna. Anyway, I was still satisfied by the ending and anyone who hasn't watched it should watch it.

Was it worth it: Yes
What I liked the most: The actors did an excellent job.
What I disliked the most: Lee Jung Jin’s character. Ugh.
Moment Meter: 2/10 – Pretty tame, particularly for an action drama.
Other thoughts: As I sit here thinking about it, I’m just now realizing what an interesting story line this drama had. Usually I hate politics in dramas, but this one was interesting from beginning to end. There were a lot of characters that I loved to hate and only a few that I really sided with. The pacing was great, and there was just the right amount of action in it. I’m always grateful for the omission of constant shaky cam. It wasn’t non-stop action the entire time and it wasn’t endlessly long with nothing happening either. I’m pretty sure Ji Chang Wook had a wound on his body at any given time throughout the entire thing. The acting was solid, and I really like the choreography for the first fight, but every fight after that seemed a bit weak (especially because I can’t help but compare to Healer). The ending was good and satisfying.
Conclusion: I would classify this as a melodrama with a hint of action. It wasn’t a favorite, but it was very solid.

THE STORY
The story was good. It sort of gave me a Snow White vibe, especially the Mirror part. For me, I think the pacing was great and the sweet moments gave me the right amount of feels. The action part was pretty good too.
THE ACTING/CAST
The acting was great. After reading The Lunar Chronicles, (any readers out there? anyone? no?) anyways, Song Yoon Ah's character reminded me of Levana or I guess in Snow White, the evil stepmother. But I sort of compare her more to Levana. In the Lunar Chronicles, she was evil but there was also a side of her that was misunderstood by many. Ji Chang Wook is always awesome. I've loved him since I watched him in Healer. Yoona was good too.
THE MUSIC
That opening scene music always reminded me of Star Wars for some reason. (Sorry, not sorry, I am proud to admit I'm a nerd).
REWATCH VALUE
I wouldn't mind re-watching this again. Not so soon though, but maybe someday later.
OVERALL
Like I said. I couldn't think of anything I didn't like from the drama. Even the side characters were endearing. And the ending was good for me. Better than the ending of the one drama of Yoona's that I watched.

I can't say weather it is Ji Chang Wook (one of my most favorite actors, whom i've missed to see in dramas) or Song Yoon Ah (the step-mother) ,who mad this drama so impressive for me... The story was good enough, but the acting was the best and couldn't be any better...
I highly recommend everyone to watch this drama...

Ótimo enredo, mas falta química entre os atores principais
Ji Chang-wook é simplesmente incrível, ele carregou muito essa série de TV junto com a madrasta, a atriz Song Yoon-ah. Acho que eles tiveram uma química melhor que K2 com Anna. Eu particularmente não gostei de Anna como personagem ou da atriz em si, não me emocionou nem um pouco. No geral, ótima série.Was this review helpful to you?
Un drama d'action sympathique
Même si ce drame ne restera pas "LE" drama de l'année, j'avoue avoir passé un bon moment.Et pourtant c'était mal parti ! En effet, au bout de 3 épisodes, je n'avais pas accroché : Beaucoup d'actions, peu d'histoire, j'ai donc laissé en suspens plusieurs semaines, avant de me décider à réessayer.
Et j'avoue, dès le 4ème et 5ème épisode, je suis partie pour de vrai dans l'histoire.
Ji Chang Wook est toujours aussi bon dans ce genre de rôle avec des scènes d'actions, et il sait être tout autant dur avec ses ennemis que touchant avec Im Yoon Ah.
Les rôles secondaires, surtout ceux qui naviguent au plus proche des deux rôles principaux, sont bien tenus.
Une aparté pour Song Yoon Ah, qui joue le rôle de la méchante à la perfection, ainsi que sa dualité, qui, moi, m'a touchée, et j'avais presque mal au cœur pour elle.
Les petits points négatifs : De l'action et des scènes de combat c'est bien, de l'histoire c'est bien aussi… Au bout d'un moment l'action tue l'action. Je trouve que l'histoire s'étoffe et devient intéressante bien trop tard dans les épisodes.
Un drama avec beaucoup d'actions, un peu de romance, juste de quoi passer un bon moment sans en attendre plus.

Coup de Coeur
Un de mes préféré , ce drama allie le côté intense de l'histoire, des personnages captivant (du moins pour la plupart) , une méchante avec un charisme puissant, ça bouge et les scènes d'action m'ont bluffées.L'histoire de Je-ha et ses capacités au combat rendent ce moment encore plus passionnant.
Un vrai coup de cœur.

Drama ioiô
Esse drama não é um dos meus preferidos, mas tive que vir comentar sobre, pois tem alguns pontos que gostaria de ressaltar. Primeiramente, a OST é incrível! Com um estilo diferente de outros dramas, as músicas te prendem e você não se cansa delas. A atuação é simplesmente perfeita. Por mais que eu tenha achado a Anna um pouco fraca (apesar de ser próprio da personagem), os outros personagem conseguiram conquistar todo o meu coração (principalmente a Choi Yoo Jin, que mulher!).Tem muita política envolvida. Muita mesmo. Nunca assisti um drama com tanta política envolvida. Demorou alguns episódios para eu conseguir decorar os nomes e entender o que estava acontecendo, mas no fim consegui acompanhar tudo e não me arrependo. O porquê de "Drama ioiô" vem daqui: você começa super animado, aí vai ver e já não quer mais assistir, até que outra coisa te prende e você assiste até não aguentar mais e quase desistir de assistir, mas novamente algo grande acontece, assim você não consegue largar de assistir, pois por mais que ele estivesse chato em alguns pontos, tudo muda com uma revelação ou a ação de algum personagem.
Os dois últimos episódios pisaram de uma maneira muito bonita em mim, não esperava que tudo acontecesse da maneira que se sucedeu, é um final digno, eu diria (e a Secretária Kim na sua última cena? "A vingança é um prato que se come frio").
