Character development!

To start with the negatives about this episode: I did find the tone a little strange (especially at the beginning, what on earth was that scene with the syringe??).I think a lot of it felt like filler, as if I was constantly waiting for something to happen. Perhaps it felt anticlimactic because of the major drama of episode 2; my love for the previous episode probably overshadowed my view of this one. Yet the positives completely outweigh the negatives here. I've noticed that Chicago Typewriter has got fantastic character development, for one. Jeon Seol continues to become more and more likeable, especially with the revelation of more of her past, and the way she no longer submits herself to Se Joo's taunting. As she starts to rebel and become more confident and be herself, rather than a fan, I find myself falling in love with her character. Similarly, although I've rooted for him from the start, as Se Joo softens he becomes so much more human and interesting. Once his arrogant, defensive facade slips away, he really is rather sweet. And the romance! It was beautiful to watch Se Joo realise that Seol had never betrayed him. The flashback to the subway was absolutely precious, and there were so many moments here when we see Se Joo unknowingly fall more and more for Seol - when he catches her in his arms, when 1930s Seol kisses him, when he's lying in his bed looking at her. This slow romance is all I've ever needed and I'm so blessed :')Also! Sorry I don't know her name, but the actress who plays Se Joo's 'mother' (foster mother? or just an old mother figure? I'm not sure) is perfect. Can we talk about how beautiful the OST is please?Ah there were so many moments I was in love with in the episode I could talk about them all day! My favourite was whn Se Joo found the wristwatch, it was so beautiful. I also liked when the fog took Se Joo back in time, the revelation of the ghostwriter Yoo Jin Oh, and the scene where Seol hides in her sleeping bag (so cute).
