Na Bori is a 25-year-old woman who desperately wants to be a teacher at the high school she was kicked out of due to a misunderstanding with her teachers over injuring a group of male classmates. After getting her GED, she rejects job offers from other high schools and works on becoming a teacher at her old high school so she can work side by side with her high school love interest, the art teacher Ji Hyun Woo. However, the only thing that enables her to get the coveted job is by signing a contract to essentially babysit Park Tae In, a troublemaker student who attends the same high school. Tae In, a lonely youth, quickly becomes the "jjang", or "king" of the high school, and enjoys playing mean tricks on Bori whose easygoing personality attracts the attention of the majority of her students. Noh Jemma is jealous of the relationship between Bori and Tae In, and goes out of her way to get Bori kicked out but she's not the only one against them. Edit Translation

I started with this drama mainly because the plot seemed interesting enough. We all know what happens in a forbidden kind of love story between student and teacher and I expected it to go the cliched way right from the beginning but Biscuit Teacher surprised me here. The relationship between Tae In and Bo Ri has been depicted with sensitivity and a lot of depth-they are like friends, each other's mentors, guides, siblings, parents and lovers. Beginning was extremely fun and humorous with lotsa hilarious and heart-rendering situations involving individual students. But towards the end it kind of became a drag where there was little to no substantial plot development. It was heart-breaking to see Tae In cry so much and frustrating to see Bo Ri act like a confused teenager, unsure of her feelings. However the ending totally made up for it- very sweet. If not for anything else, this drama MUST be watched for Gong Yoo's realistic portrayal of an innocent and love-struck teenager, who matures from an eccentric, unruly kid to a real man with the strength to sacrifice what's most dear to him. Great acting by Gong Hyo Jin and the supporting cast as well.

This show is foremost about love and how love chooses you. Age and station do not matter. It's also very much about growing up and having someone be on your side no matter what. I thought this show was very well acted. I loved the kids and the lessons learned through the help of Biscuit Teacher. I loved Gong Yoo and Gong Hyo Jin. Tae In fell in love with Bo Ri and that was it for him, end of story. This show touched my heart. It was very cute and fun. Find it on the web and watch it!
