Both dramas are supernatural romances. In "Secret Garden" main leads are swapping their bodies. In "Dear Prince" main female lead is able to see a male's soul and sometimes is possesed by him. In both dramas supernatural events create funny situations and some problems, but in the end main leads fall in love with each other.
Similarities:
- genres: supernatural/romance/comedy
- love between a living human being (in "Pope Rak" - living male lead, in "Dear Prince" - living female lead) and a spirit/soul ("PR" - soul of female lead, "DP" - soul of male lead)
- both have happy ending
- both are worth watching
Differences:
- "Pope Rak" is more dramatic at some moments
- in "PR" there are another souls/ghosts who play some role in a plot
- "PR" is thai, "DP" is chinese

At first those two storylines doesn't seem very much alike, however if you take a look they are pretty similar:
Extremely shy girl gets some kind of help from an entity, who possess their body thus changing their personality and actions completely. However, in Dear Prince it's actually a guy who's the ghost and the story is based on the entertainment industry.

Both dramas are about the female lead trying to make it as an actress by starting from the bottom. In both dramas, they get help from a veteran actor. In Skip Beat, the main girl uses her past to fuel her ambition, while in Dear Prince, the main girl struggles to overcome her phobia. Dear Prince is more of a supernatural drama, while Skip Beat can be considered an idol drama.
Both have the same concept of switching bodies; i'm still watching Dear Prince since it is still airing but they are both pretty funny and the characters seem the same ( girl is bubbly while guy is more rough) so it makes it interesting to watch. both pair of actors are extremely talented and have good chemistry.
