9.0/10 - So frustrated with Dong Hoon, but I get it! He's such a good person!

The pacing with My Mister has been its saving grace and rather more impressive then I thought it would be. That said I honestly thought the writer would drag out the confrontation FOREVER. Oh, sweet pay off when Dong Hoon confronts Joon Yeong right away! The glove in the tent was the final bit of proof that Dong Hoon may have needed . . . but I think at the moment he was honestly just thinking of protecting his wife. Even putting it back in her car when he got home. (Dong Hoon is incredible.)

It's also quite stunning to realize that Joon Yeong had wanted Yoon Hee in college. The clue about the head CEO say that he couldn't see Joon Yeong in the Western Music club, "That he must of liked a girl" was even more proof. I honestly believe that people liked Dong Hoon and that made Joon Yeong jealous. To the point that he even coveted the woman that Dong Hoon loved. The most heartbreaking thing is that what Dong Hoon truly wanted to know was if Yoon Hee new everything that Joon Yeong was doing to him. I know that Dong Hoon had to know, but I think he needed to hear it. Joon Yeong dances around the question, but I think that's confirmation enough.

Dong Hoon's son is alive!! The whole time the writing and directing has made it feel like the rift between Dong Hoon and Yoon Hee was because their son died. This whole time he's been alive and at a school. I assume some kind of boarding school that's why he's not at home and they life in a small apartment. I know it's cold of me, but why have kids? His grandmother raised him and then they just ship him off to school??!! Cold moment over.

This drama is very subtle, or maybe not. When Dong Hoon's son requests for an assignment that his dad record himself doing a special talent for a minute (I think that long) it makes Dong Hoon wonder what his special talent is. His older brother brings to light when you're poor you don't have time or money to waste on discovering special talents. As a child you're just happy to see a kid with another ball and maybe you can get to kick it while playing. You're too busy later on trying to learn and get a good job you still don't have time. Which lead to the hilarity of Korean men's talent being drinking! Take over the world one beer at a time! Or soju. I also wonder why it's bad that the owner of the bar live in the bar? Money status?

The silliest thing of this episode is that Ji An didn't know that grandchildren do not count as relations responsible for their grandparents. I'm not Korean, but I know about their free care for the elderly. Also the total household income rules, which also apply in America if you ever apply for things. (Which is stupid.) I've picked it up in dramas, and world news. Even if Ji An doesn't have time to read the news or watch TV she has all this freaking tech at her fingertips. Not to mention a smart head on her shoulders? Why wouldn't she have researched things?? I know it was to make a point about her not having parents and people to teacher her, but when you're surviving like she does you learn fast. It seems so out of character and stupid. Even if it does give Dong Hoon brownie points with Ji An for telling her about it.

Dong Hoon's mentality that if you just duck you're head and don't do anything is what makes him have to keep paying for things. Bad people can't understand that you just don't want to deal with their crap and would rather leave them alone. Dong Hoon is clearly covering up the affair to protect his wife. Not sure if he still wants to be with her, but after 15 years and a child you can't just stop loving them. Even with their marriage so cold. It's still clear though that Joon Yeong is already spinning false tales around so that if Dong Hoon outs him about the affair he can say "see he still thinks I'm having one with is wife!" Dong Hoon displayed smart instincts, but he has to know that people like Joon Yeong can't understand other people that would rather protect their loved ones then grab for power.

A really solid episode all around. Except for that first silly thing and then the second silly thing of not addressing that Loan Shark broke in! Broke in and beat up Ji An!!!! Now Loan Shark is following her? Why? He has mental issues and has entered the realm of obsessed stalker. I really believe his obsession is not about just his dad's murder anymore. I'm wondering what all the extra jobs Dong Hoon's mother has? In the end I am so frustrated about Dong Hoon not outing Joon Yeong. I know he's protecting his wife, but she was out to get him too! Dong Hoon is an incredible person.
