THE BEST. WORTH IT!I like how the motives of the characters were not directly or immediately shown. Indeed a mystery.

I love the FC! I love her gloomy and innocent look. Plus she's honest, mature, and no beating around the bush. I hate it when FCs are too childish or naive and always acting dumb or stupid. Mugi Kadowaki did great! She's adorable.
I love the slow but strong development between the MC and FC. Not much the romance-yyy type but you'll definitely feel the love and connection!
If you're a fairytale person, you might not like the ending. BUT it is actually already good even when you don't watch Todome no Parallel. You still might want to watch it though for some extended feels, fun and what ifs, and satisfaction you might be looking for ;) It has 10 EPs but shorter duration. I'd say give it a go.
All the characters are so eye-candy! <3 I definitely want more.
This is now my favorite JDrama >< (Hana Yori Dango, you will always have a special place in my heart ^^)
Side note: It's the nature of the drama but it kinda felt tiring at some point to keep going back to the past. Lol.

Good Story, Great Character Writing
After watching a trashy GL jdrama, I was looking at my plan to watch list, to see if there's another trashy sounding title that i can tick off. I ended up with this drama and damn. I didn't expect i would pick up a gold one and would make me cry like a river in the end.The story is not just all that dark mystery about this kiss of death, it's actually more than that, though it started that way, it slowly developed into this puzzle piece game with a romance on the side. The first arc with the mystery killer though short and hilarious at times, was good. Although once you get the first hint it was obvious who was actually the killer. It's also just a groundwork to build up FL antagonist and her intention was all along. After that, okay where are they taking the story... now ML realizes he can make himself rich by taking advantage of the time leap to make things go his way and that's where it starts to get messy and exciting.
The second part of the story is what i actually like the most, everything was going smoothly for our ML, but as the story goes on, more and more you see him hit a wall, and he has no choice but to actually start thinking and planning before recklessly going into time leap because, every time he time leaps, that doesn't only change his future, but also starts affecting his surroundings. And i like that even though he has the upper hand to curate his path, the story will still naturally find its way to corner him. Along the way, there are also parts where they start tapping into human emotions, that will touch your heart. It's not just all this if could redo things to make yourself rich, you'd do everything, It is also about spending time with your loved ones while they're still alive and that's where the romance on the side slowly creeps in because i doubt every time you'd kiss each other even if it's just contractual you wouldn't fall for the other. The romance was already sad as it is because it got caught up in this love triangle, then you see it get thrown out the window in the end as a way to redeem ML, like why would play with my heart like that?!?!?!
I say great character writing because you have these innocent characters who were forced to become villains because of the ML's greed to keep messing with time, some characters became good, and some remained villains to be the necessary evil. It's not every time you time leap that you would see the same flow, because other characters actually evolved and would start affecting things.
The way MC was written to only chase money, not women, you see his back story as to why he became that way. It's fucked up, sad, like really sad and you'll start feeling for him, then he starts to progressively mature and corrects everything in the end. THE FUCK WAS THE POINT OF HIM REALIZING THAT ALL THIS MESS STARTED BECAUSE OF HIS GREED, SO HE DECIDED TO NOT BE WITH FL IN THE END?!?!?! I get it though, he has this greed, he's the scummiest of the scums, so he decided to not redo his romance with FL because he's afraid that he might just still take advantage of her down the road. I was surprised that it was Kento, he's so cool here.
I like how FL was painted as a villain in the beginning, but she wasn't actually and became this important tool in MLs life. Her dynamic with ML was really funny, I like how she can bluntly diss back, with no holds bar and you'd see ML get choked. They have a really good back-and-forth going on, that's why i preferred her to be ML's endgame rather than Mikoto. Whoever Saiko's actress is, imma have to look that up, she's so cute!!! She's like an amalgamation of Adora because of the hair, Kim Jiwon because of the nose and eyes, also Seoyeon from fromis_9.
The one i was impressed with the most was Takauji, because in the beginning he's just this good "innocent" person who's really keen to protect her step-sister, no matter how his uncle sways him, but again because of ML's greed you'll start to see him become the villain that he didn't want to be. His sole job to protect his sister became an obsession in turn he's forced to do bad things and it's just sad to see.
I don't really have much to say about Mikoto, she's okay. In the beginning, i preferred her for ML but because she's just being used by ML you'll start feeling sad for her, though it was true still that ML actually managed to love her a little.
I had a lot of curiosities about the intricacies of the power and It was funny when my curiosity actually happened if the time leap would still actually work if it was girl to girl HAHAHA, the same thing as well if it was Man to Man, that was super hilarious. They managed to answer everything as well as if they could actually return years later, though only in words, not in practice.
Overall, Good Story, Great Character Writing. I rate it 9.5 because I'm bitter about the ending HAHAHAHA but in my heart, it's 10/10.

Minhas considerações sobre Todome no Kiss
✧ Eight não vale nada mas amei ele mesmo assim. E a Saiko definitivamente não é o tipo de personagem principal que eu gosto mas ela me cativou.✧ O dorama prendeu minha atenção rápido e eu queria assistir um atrás do outro, acabei praticamente maratonando sem querer. Agora que acabou tô tristi.
✧ Tirando Eight, Saiko e Harumi para mim os outros personagens foram tanto faz tanto fez. Kkkkkkk bem descartáveis?
✧ O enredo é legal e ver o Eight ser um babaca foi satisfatório por razões que desconheço. Foi um dorama divertido de assistir.
✧ Apesar de alguns pontos negativos, o final vale muito apena. Estou triste e feliz aushuahuas que merda, mas gostei.
✧ Eu devia dar um 8, mas vou dar um 9 porque sim, no fim das contas gostei. Talvez mude posteriormente mas agora vai ficar assim. (Depois que eu reassisti subi para 10 porque criei carinho por essa bodega)

Otaro, su protagonista, es egoísta, la ambición hecha persona, pero con un encanto y astucia que aprendes a querer. Cada una de sus experiencias con la muerte van construyendo su evolución hasta tener un cierre de aprendizaje.
Mi personaje favorito fue Saiko, quien me causaba tanta ternura con su nerviosismo y buenas intenciones. Su vida es triste al tener una habilidad que le imposibilita formar relaciones románticas y por ello se ha cerrado por completo ante la idea de socializar.
Adoré ver el desarrollo en las interacciones de los protagonistas, ir de aversión a amistad, y, no puedo mentir, me encantaban juntos.

Esse dorama é uma obra prima. Eu não esperava tudo isso, eu imaginava que seria algo bem besta e bizarro, me surpreendeu. A construção do personagem é maravilhosa. É claro que Yamazaki Kento só faz produção boa. O episódio 9 foi um choque, o 10 veio a melhor solução, mas o 11 foi simplesmente PERFEITO, esse episódio extra espero que todos tenham assistido, porque ele finaliza o drama com chave de ouro.Was this review helpful to you?
