Bohn and Duen were definitely the funniest couple at first. Sadly, their storyline went downhill after a while, though their massive problems ended up actually being useful for character development. Personally, I wish Bohn hadn't been so volatile, but it was good seeing Duen's character stand up for himself, being both strong and soft.
Ram and King were very cute! I liked their storyline, through all its ups and downs. It was very hearttouching and beautiful.
The best couple was Boss and Mek. In the end, they were the couple I was rooting for the most while watching the drama. They're a good example of the best friends becoming lovers trope.
The ending theme song by Ton Thanasit is so romantic! It's the perfect song for a romantic comedy. I wish P'Ton sang more for dramas!

Main characters don't make sense!
I honestly wanna ask one thing (why are bhon and duen the main couple) they have a good pace at first then its all ruined by their slow pace and lack of cute moments like rest of bl series, where main characters/couple have cute moments which makes it lively to watch. After watching the whole thing i can say KingRam and BossMek deserve main couple role. They had the best screen time and moments in the entier series and only these two couples made me excited to watch next episodes. Even as supporting characters they had such life in their relationship then main characters.
Series isn't that bad its good, just that main couple wasn't that appealing may be thats how this story was meant to be? not sure hut still mek was the best over all woth his performance

My engineer; a series that's quite cheesy and cringe, but sometimes enjoyable.
Hi friends! This is my second time watching this series, and there's quite a lot to discuss so let's just get into it, shall we?STORY
Uhm okay. So I wouldn't say that it's everyone's cup of tea, but there are still some good parts if you know where to look. As I said, this is my second time I've seen this series (this time with a friend) and I enjoyed it much more with someone beside me to discuss the story with. Sure, there are some parts that we laughed and screamed of joy at, but also a lot of scenes that I wanted to skip. The storyline is cheesy and problematic, just in a boring or concerning way.
Couple number one: Bohn (the big baby) and Duen (the one that always says he's sorry)
First of all Bohn. He's pretty controlling, always angry and toxic. Like, he gets jealous ALL THE FUCKING TIME and it gets annoying after the first times of him dragging Duen along and trying to kiss him just so he can whole that he "owns" him or something. Then there's Duen, the sweet baby who always wants to do the right thing, cooks for his boyfriend and tries to take it slow. This boy just wants a life where he can hang out with his male friends without getting dragged along by his boyfriend that wants him to explain himself and then kiss him. Like how would even stay in that relationship?
Couple number two: King (the plant boy) and Ram (the doggie boy). My babies.
These two should really sit down with Bohn and talk to him about trusting his boyfriend, taking it in his time and respecting his life where he wants to have friends. King respects Ram, helps him and tries to comfort him but NOT asking him like it's a fucking interview. Just like Ram says; King understands him. Ram is this really focused on his task boy that doesn't want to talk to EVERYONE. He's caring for those he loves and wants to protect them from all harm. When you get to know him, you know you've found someone special that's worth your time and loving. Even though this couple is not official (yet) you clery see that this is going to evolve into a great relation in season two.
Couple number three: Boss and Mek. The husband and wife since ages back in time.
Well well well. First of all, poor these boys. I mean I wish they had told each other about their feelings at day one. Mek is crealy missreble with Boss dating someone else in the start of the series. I know that's a part of the story but i would rather have seen them being this couple from the start. And its kinda creepy yet sweet with Mek and his wall of fame portaing Boss and their friendship. Plus; they go from zero (aka friends) to lovers in a minute...?
Couple number four: Frong and Thara. The couple that has not quite started yet.
It's sweet, but I don't understand the fuss about it. That FrongThara and RamKing would be the ones that everyone's there for. (please don't hate me for this tho) I mean, almost nothing has even happened - but I guess that's something for season two.
Final words of this little rant; I'm mad that they made Ryan have a voiceover (he who plays Mek) just because he can't Thai that well. They could just have announced that he was a forgien student and that he was learning. And I hate that they had that typical stereotype thing that always in gay relations: "Im not gay, I'm just in love with *name*..." - like why canä't they be pan/bi if that is so important? Why making them a straight that's in love with one boy?
ACTING/CAST
Not that much to say about this but, the overall acting was sweet but not that good and belivbale. Let just say its certainly not one of the best I've seen in the BL drama community.
I have nothing against the actors, however some of the cry scenes and the love scenes dosnet work for me. But yeah, I'm quite harsh when it comes to this just because I feel this is the most important part (plus the story) to make it great.
I was glad to see that I didn't know any of these actors from any other series, because that usually fucks with my head haha. And also, Perth's (potraing Ram) acting was one of the best in this series. I love his way of showing Rams personality and you can see that he knows his character very well even though he's the polar opposite of Ram in real life.
MUSIC
They are constatly using the same music over and over and that annoys me a bit. For example, when its a sad scene it's this piano melody and when its a dramatic (even tho some times it's not, in my opinion) there's this action song. But sometime it was well needed to make the mood right however they maybe could have had more traks to use.
REWATCH VALUE
I'm probably not going to watch this again, if not with a friend. I just keep waiting the RamKing edits on youtube and are happy with that. Maybe even one or two MekBoss ones too.
SOME LAST WORDS
The summary: I would say that if you're really bored or looking for something cheesy and with some quite disturbing plots, yeah sure watch this. But its not a "Trapped" or Until we meet again" quality in this series. (actors, music, story) But theres some worth watching parts (aka RamKing) so yeah, watch it for those two.

Worth watching once and hoping for the sequal
I liked this show, but more in the beginning than the end.Is it really so that seeing someone getting a forced kiss results in breakup scenes? The writer and/or director should think this through more, I hate to see people getting depicted as light-headed simpletons all the time.
Next, what is with the sniffing? Is making sniffing sounds the new kissing? It is called a BL-series, but sometimes it feels like it is written to keep the main characters apart, not getting them together. Duen is cute, but if was together with Bohn I would not hesitate to kiss him.
The main save of the show is Cooper (Bohn) and I think I'd watch just about anything with him in it, he's a natural.

i'm sorry.
this was my second thai BL, i enjoyed it at first, but soon i was more interested in the side couples than the main couple. they lowkey disappointed me to be honest. i got more interested in ram (and his family situation) and king, so im glad that they will be the main focus for season 2, it was perth's first series, but he did really well!! love perth and talay's chemistry <3i did rewatch it, only for the ramking scenes though. the story became kinda boring to be honest, however this is just my opinion so if you like it, that's fine!

It all makes sense now!
I'm always probably more lenient than the average viewer when it comes to any movie/series, and in particular, Y series. I don't have to dissect absolutely every little detail, nor do I need to consider if something is realistic or not. If I get pleasure out of watching, whether it's the story, the characters, or the actors' performances, I can overlook things I may not consider realistic, or not the 'norm' in the real world. I can determine the difference between fact and fiction. Just because a movie/series is about, for example, zombies and ghosts, serial killings, drug use, or science fiction and super heroes, doesn't mean we can't enjoy them, Even if a series really is awful, and I don't come across them often, I always consider the amount of effort that went into the production, whether that's the actors' hard work, or the production itself. This is not a criticism of anyone else's opinion, by the way. Having said that, there were things about this series I didn't like.I liked all the couples, even Mr Controlling, Bohn, and the ever sweet and innocent, Duen. I would hope that a season 2 would see the progression of all the couples, but also mellow Bohn a little. Boss was a little too annoying at times, but again, I hoped that he would become more playful rather than constantly annoying in S2. I really wanted to see Thara and Frong advance their relationship too. King's sister and the 3 schoolgirls were hilarious, with their wild imaginations concerning RamKing, and exaggerating the facts - and I'm guessing, a little dig at the 'typical' BL fan. I also wanted to see Ram's father get his comeuppance in S2, for the awful betrayal of his family. The highlight for me was probably the final episode and the kiss scenes. I have to say that Perth really stole the show, and his kiss was one of the best in the the 'innocent' BL category, second only to SantaEarth's kiss in their 7 Project series episode. Unfortunately, Talay's initiation of said kiss, was very awkward, and he looked like he was in pain!
The story was fine. Not the best, but certainly nowhere near the worst, with a lot to commend it. I enjoyed watching the actors bring the characters to life, even the annoying ones, and was surprised to find out that Rice, who played Tang, is actually an acting coach. I would like to see more of his acting - I know he's in Step By Step, but I haven't noticed him yet. I'll just have to re-watch the episodes to date and see if I've missed him.
I found the music a little annoying at times, but that's just my personal opinion, though I did really like that pretty song that was used at tender/sweet moments. If I find a particular song that I'm not fond of for whatever reason, the constant replaying of it ruins the whole soundtrack for me.
I'll definitely re-watch ME again - I'm currently binge-watching ME today, for probably the 3rd or 4th time, and there have been some unexpected revelations...
So, now to the much anticipated season 2... I loved Ryan Peng in the part of Mek, but we all know he was dismissed from the show, even if we don't know the real reasons why. We know that Ryan and Intouch were friends, and I really don't like the idea of a new actor playing the part of Mek. On the whole, I hate substitutions in series - I find that they rarely work. I don't think that not including Mek would work either, no matter what reason f they would try to use to explain his absence . One thing I didn't like about how ME was filmed, was the use of dubbing for Ryan's lines. It would have been more preferable to me, to have allowed him to speak in Chinese and simply used Thai as well as English subs for his parts - it was obvious he wasn't speaking Thai, so why try to hide it? In We Best Love, Yu's character and 'his father' occasionally spoke in Japanese, but it wasn't an issue. As long as actor can convey his character's emotions, I don't see an issue in letting him speak in his native tongue.
We all know that Perth has left the company, so again, no Ram, or the possibility of a replacement actor. I seriously doubt he would be involved in a S2. I think we were all a bit shocked at his departure, but it all made perfect sense to me today. I came to MD to check out the actress who played Ram's mother. Although we got to hear Perth's and Dylan's English accents, it was obvious that she was not Australian, whilst of course, Perth so obviously grew up in Oz. It probably doesn't matter to anyone else, but I was just curious to see if I could work out where she came from - she sounds European to me, but she isn't listed here. It was whilst I was looking for her, I saw who the screenwriter was. Yes, it's the infamous Poi, one half of the writing team of KinnPorsche. This could be the reason why Perth chose to leave - we all saw his reaction to the writer's interactions with Barcode... If looks could kill! So if the series went ahead as scheduled, or was still on the cards, i can totally understand why Perth would not want to be involved. Currently, there has been no word on whether or not we'll actually get S2, but either the Build/Poi incident has forced the company to put the series on hold - whether it's completed or not, or Poi's involvement as (I assume), S2's screenwriter), has forced the company to cancel S2 altogether. I fear that there will be no S2.

okay...?
Could have been better, but based on the reviews I read, it was better than expected, but the acting was so bad at times, and always bad when it came to some characters. I guess I've grown to expect more with the dramas that are coming out "now" but "now" is literally 1-2 years after this was released.SPOILER: I loved the Mek/Boss story, right up until Boss was like "me too" to Mek's confession and we're all were like HUH? So what was going through your little brain when you were torturing Mek this whole time by "pretending" to be girl crazy?! NO this is just a huge stupid plot gap!!!! This is probably what I'm most mad about, because there was almost any other way that they could have written Boss and Mek's story, and it would have been better or at least made more sense. GODDAMMIT.
So Mek and Boss is the only reason I can give the show an above average score. And Duen's smile.
However, I will give Bon/Bohn credit only in that his actor was probably the best actor besides TING TING. LETS HEAR IT FOR TING TING. I'll put Boss and King right behind them. Like I'd like to see Boss in something else.... with Mek... getting the storyline that actually does them credit. EVERY OTHER ACTOR (even mek half the time. Like why was his voice dubbed?) DESERVES A 1.
No toxic relationships. Bon just has some jealousy issues that hurts everyone, but is just something he should probably go to therapy about. It's so sad when "no toxic relationships or behaviours" is something you have to laud in a show wholly about relationships. C'mon BL. @#$%^&*

RamKing and RamKing only.
6/10 but only for RamKing. Man I’m obsessed with them. The rest of the show was uninteresting to me and not worth the watch, but I adore the chemistry of King and Ram. Would recommend just looking up their scenes on YouTube tbh and skip the other bits of the show. You know the cringyness of the show in ‘lovely writer’, ‘my bad engineer’ or whatever? I’m not sure what came first but it’s exactly like that. So yeah basically skip the main couple and just come for the adorable Ram and King. Love them. Was this review helpful to you?
Opinions
I am in love with this series i absolutely was never so more interested when watching something, its mostly because of RamKing the second main lead couple there chemistry was indescribable every moment with each other felt like anything you could ask for I hope to see a lot of progress in season 2 when its gonna base around them more and a happy ending, main lead couple was ok but didn't have the flavour it felt toxic the love it didn't feel real, it felt forced that Dean had to accept Bohn's love so they end up together but who am i to judge at least they end up together in the end and seem to love each other and there's some more couples but that's there story *( i hope for something to happen to TharaFrong in the future )*Was this review helpful to you?
When the main couple is the least likeable one...
The plot is nothing special. It goes through all of the usual BL cliches, including the engineering students. Cliches are not always a bad thing, but they need to be done well, and they need to be good. Which I don’t think they were. I also feel like the pacing of the series was too slow and very repetitive.I did like some of the couples. The acting was better in some parts and not so great in others. I was not really bothered by the fact that Mek was actually dubbed. I need to read the subtitles either way, so I didn’t have the time to stress about the fact that his mouth moves differently from what is spoken. I don’t know why some people are so extremely bothered by that.
Bohn & Duen: they are my least favorite couple of the series. Which is a shame, seeing they are the main couple. It started off cute, I really enjoyed their first meeting. I mean, we can’t blame Duen for punching the stranger sticking their face close to his sleeping self. I’d punch him too. But things went downhill afterwards. I hate how Bohn treated Duen most of the time. The whole thing with Bohn fake sulking to manipulate Duen was annoying. Even more so as it was done multiple times. Don’t even get me started on the jealousy. Communication? We don’t know what that is. And the whole who is top and who bottom episode? Disaster that shouldn’t have been made. It’s full of very negative portrayal of gay men, especially those that prefer to be the bottom.
Mek & Boss: friends to lovers, what else can we wish for? I actually like how their story developed; it didn’t seem too rushed. The line between friendship and love is hard to cross, especially if it may mean losing the other person completely. The amount of suffering I went through watching Mek keep quiet about his feelings, and even helping Boss prepare for his date… Those were some heavy scenes for sure.
Ram & King: Yes, just yes. I was worried about how things would go as King seemed to be trying to get close to Ram only because he found his weirdness interesting. I was happy it wasn’t just that. I think the two of them had the best chemistry of all the couples in the series. They were adorable together, from the start to the end. And while verbal communication was not something Ram enjoys very much, I really like how they took this as an opportunity for the two of them to grasp each other’s non-verbal communication much better. King really understood Ram, even if he didn't say anything. And Ram pulling and pushing King around to get him to do what he wanted was cute.
Thara & Frong: I think we can all see the sparks fly between the two of them from the first meeting. I found both interesting, and I like how “fate” seemed to keep bringing the two of them together, giving them plenty opportunities to drive each other crazy. Thara seems to be a bit slow when it comes to love, but can we blame him?
The ending was… meh. Kind of anticlimactic. A lot of things were left open and unfisnished, as they were planning for season 2. It’s been 3 years since the series aired and there has not been any confirmation. Which sucks because it means a lot is just left in the air. I wish we would have gotten a few more conclusions, at least semi-conclusions.

Ryan Peng is the Only "Mek" for me
This is all the info I've gathered and want to share with fans who love Ryan Peng (Chinese actor who played Mek). I wish him all the best as an actor or any profession he chooses to become. Ryan (born 1999) is too young to be dragged into this mess.1. This BL series was announced as early as 2017 but the final cast only been confirmed on late 2019 and the series shooting process was started not long after and only officially aired on March 2020. Throughout the 2 years that spend on casting process, we have seen bits and pieces of promo casting photos with many different people including NineSaint was involved at some point.
2. The production company TRI Creations partnered with a Chinese company to help fund the show, and one of the company's stipulations was the inclusion of a Chinese actor Ryan Peng (Mek). Ryan changed his name from Peng Junjie Raff to Peng Jiabo Ryan in December 2019
3. In all of his scenes the actor speaks Mandarin, and they dubbed him over in Thai.
4. Tri-Creation released a statement about Ryan's termination because he has been behaving inappropriately while filming the series. Since his contract termination, he will be excluded from any promotional events, fan-meets or anything related to the series.
5. Tri-Creation emphasized that there were no problems between them and the China Team. They also mentioned that they gave Ryan several opportunities to change but it wasn't effective. He caused a lot of "delay" (they had someone dub him in the series) Maybe this delay is because he was slower than the rest in memorizing the script. Although he speaks Chinese, he still has to know when to speak.
6. We only know what the company said. We don't know Ryan's side of the story. I might be biased while saying this but I can't bring myself to believe that Ryan was rude to the staff. Although there was a language barrier, he seemed to have fun with all actors.
7. Ryan had a post in weibo where he say that he never show bad behavior and never disrespect anyone. He post it some time in December.
8. The filming was already over. They were in post production and they fired him. If it was for unproffesional attitude they should've done it long way before they ended filming.
9. It reminded me of Saint incident in Love by Chance (2018). it's not the first time that something like that happen on BL world. 9. They did changed main actors quite a few times. So I guess there's a lot more going on behind the scenes
10. This is not good at all for his career. Having a bad working reputation especially being so young is absolutely going to affect his career. If he was a more high profile actor they would have handled it differently. Many new actors are not always given a second chance, as there's more than enough good looking guys wanting to get into the entertainment business.
11. Fun fact to note that MD (playing Dr Thara) was the only one that survived all the cast reshuffle.

It Was kinda stupid
I didn’t like the main couple. Literally 1/10 Bohn and Duen are one of my very least favourite bl couple. And acting wise it wasn’t really that great lol. They were toxic, jealous and everything bad. And honestly speaking I do like toxic couples like tharn-type, tutor-fighter. But these two were weirdly disturbing. They literally had no communication at all and I didn’t like their chemistry too.But I kept on watching it for Ram and King. They were the power couple of the series. Chemistry, visuals acting everything on point.
Man I wanna watch Talay and Perth in other series too.
The dubbed guy and his partner were cute too ngl. Their story was fun to watch.
