Sword snow stride is similar to listening snow tower because both of them tells similar storyline but differently
Both stories are extremely similar in the way that the male lead is stronger and protective of the female lead which grows into her own self and into her abilities as the drama progresses. It's interesting how Xiao Yi Qing resembles Wuji so much and how Jing Rong is so similar to Fu Yao. Really good stories!
The brilliantly choreographed fight scenes, the poisoned/physically weak, but psychologically strong young master (ML) and, of course, our FL with the secret weapon/martial arts technique she learner from her disgraced senior/master everyone in the pugilist world's refers to as a "devil"/"demon".
These dramas have it all!
These dramas have it all!
Cold ML in white suffering from lifelong disease is always keeping an eye and coming to the rescue to the fiery badass FL who misunderstands him. He is also key in her martial art training and turns her into a weapon that can possibly turn against him. Lots of duels between ML and FL and sexual tension.
Every time I think of the chemistry between the lead it often leads me back to to rise of the phonenix. This mutual understand and conspiracy they do to get what they want. The only difference is the ML in rising in the phoenixes plays as a crazy guy but so passionate. The guy in snow tower often had to keep his feelings in check.
Both have the same actress as the FL and take place within a martial arts sect for much of the plots. The FLs can be cold at times, the MLs are extremely self-sacrificing/martyr type characters. Both MLs give up their lives at the end, but are magically saved and fall into a lengthy coma, cared for by the FL. The FLs leave the room for a moment, return to find the MLs gone, and search for them, finding them awake a short distance away, and run and hug them.
Both are Wuxia with a huge cast, beautiful fighting scenes and mysteries of the past.
In both series the side characters have interesting background stories and romances.
They also have some actors in common, like He Zhong Hua, Bai Shu and Cao Yu Chen.
other similarities:
- FLs with great fighting ability and confidence
-MLs with great fighting skill and strategic thinking
-involving the royal court
-involving different sects/organizations
