Great Drama!!!
The acting of all the main cast was amazing. Do Kyungsoo and Nam Jihyun are both have amazing acting skills and had believable chemistry. While I wish we got a little more from the ending, 100 Days My Prince was overall an amazing drama that I would definitely rewatch. The show had both many funny moments but also the serious politics of a historical drama. I especially loved all the interactions that Do Kyungsoo and Nam Jihyun had with all the villagers and enjoyed seeing Do Kyungsoo acting like he was a fish out of water. Was this review helpful to you?

One of my personal favorite dramas
Now, i’m not gonna lie and say this drama was amazing in all aspects, because it definitely wasn’t. However, it did exceed my expectations in some parts. The acting was amazing. The side characters, the supporting characters, the main characters, everyone did amazing. It felt like they were real people and did just actors playing a role.
The storyline is where I get kind of ehhh. They were married for 100 days; why haven’t they consummated? I just feel like if Hongshim were to be impregnated, it would add so much to the plot. I also feel like the ending felt a little bit… Mysterious?? I personally don’t like endings that just happen if you get what I mean. But I also understand that there’s a season 2 coming up; so it would make sense to have that sort of ending in the first season.
The plot did drag out in some parts. Especially with the antagonists, and the way that i-seo and yul “left” each other again, and reunited again at the end of the last ep, i just felt that it was so unnecessary???
Overall, this drama was amazing and enjoyable in my personal opinion, and definitely does have a rewatch value. If i’m ever bored, maybe i’ll rewatch it again. :)

I loved the boy who plays the young prince, a real star. The prince, D.O from EXO I follow him as a singer but he's great as an actor too. I love when he walks with his hands behind his back and doesn't want to be touched (oh oh) even if he doesn't remember to belong to the royal family.
However, the question of marriage between the two is dragged out too long (even a second imposition of marrying young people) and the punishment for the villain was too light. He deserved much worse.
Up until episode 10 it was interesting, from 11 onwards a little less.

Prince NO Princess YES
Joseon based drama are one of my favourite to watch while being sick or just not feeling at 100%. I've seen "100 Days My Prince" exactly at those circumstances but didn't like is as much as "Rookie Historian". It's not like I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but if I would have to choose I would definately pick Goo Hae-Ryung ?It's a kdrama so we all know that they will eventually fell in love and he is going to recover from amnesia but what I was watching it for was the princess (Han So Hee) and Nam Ji-Hyun. Most of reviewers were raving about dashing male lead Won Deuk/crown prince Yul (D.O.) but he didn't impress me. I focused more on Hong Shim ? (Nam Ji-Hyun) who with Kim So Hye ? (Han So Hee) made way better show! Their stories were greatily arranged and I was rooting for their happy endings. Ladies just stole the show for me and I didn't need that prince at all ?
The story wasn'y as captivating as I was expecting.... too big expectations maybe?? It didn't make me to want to know what's gonna happen in next episode. OK there were 2 or 3 cliff hangers that made me to watch 1-2 episodes with no breath would or to sit with bilion of tears. But that's it. Mystic Pop-Up Bar or Alchemy of Sould made me do that every episode!
In my opinion if you are considering watching this for the story, you will be disappointed.

Historical Drama Blends Romance and Political Intrigue
100 Days My Prince" starts strong with a captivating first few episodes. As the story unfolds, Lee Yool, an amnesiac prince, and Hong Shim navigate a unique and charming romance filled with heartwarming moments and delightful interactions.Nam Ji-Hyun delivers a standout performance, bringing energy and comedic timing to her role, especially in her scenes with the supporting cast of villagers. The subplot involving political intrigue adds layers to the story, and while some characters are less developed, the dynamic sibling relationship between Hong Shim and Yoon Seok-Ha adds depth and emotional resonance.
Despite some pacing issues and a few underutilized characters, "100 Days My Prince" offers a mix of romance, humor, and drama that makes it a worthwhile watch. Its engaging moments and good performances ensure that it remains an enjoyable and series.

Highly recommended!
This is one of my all-time favorite Korean dramas.Korean dramas rarely have a fake royal family or dynasty and I appreciate that this one did (at least I think this was a made up one). I feel this gives a bit more freedom to the plot when you're not bound by an actual person's story.
This was just a good, all round watch. The male lead did a good job of portraying someone who was struggling with his identity and slowly falling in love with his wife. The female lead was smart, brave, and funny (though not sure how she would have liked life as the queen with all its endless restrictions...). They were just cute together. I love the supporting characters, especially the FL's best friend and best friend's husband. I also liked her adoptive father a lot, they clearly had a good relationship.
The evil lead made me furious, which meant he was written and portrayed well. I understood the Crown Princess' plight--she had not wanted a loveless marriage, but that is what she got (though how she was ever alone long enough to get pregnant, I have no idea). The reason for taking off 0.5 points is that they killed off Yoon Seok Hwan. Yes he was an assassin, but only because that is the deal he had made to keep his sister alive. He loved his baby's mother and they should have gotten a happy ending, too. And we need more historical dramas with Kim Jae Young please! Especially of him shooting arrows and sword fighting. Lots and lots.
I got SMLS, of course, but I almost always do. It was not too horrible since I also liked the ML, but the SML was just so sweet. I wish they had found him a nice girl by the end...(though I'm not sure about the gisaeng?)
I highly recommend this one, its right up there with Moon Embracing the Sun for me.

Like a Sweet Folks Tale Adaptation
The whole show has the feeling of a lovely folks tale adaptation, like a story you heard many times as a child that you grew fond of. "The Never Smiling Prince" and what happened to him. It was nice to watch and sometimes even had a fairytale feeling to it. It's very low on "drama", even though it has its sad moments, and a few scenes that were very well cut and done by the actors.Overall it is a sweet show with some very great tracks on the soundtrack (for that alone its worth it in my books), that is enjoyable to watch without getting too deep into the feelings.

Several attempts needed to not drop it
Finally completed. It was actually a mediocre drama. I needed several attempts to not drop it after watching the first couple episodes. It was hard to imagine the ML as a prince- he looks way too young with that baby face and too skinny. Fortunately he has a deep smooth voice which indicated that he was a grown-up in the drama and not a little boy... His and the FL's acting was decent and both were a good match although I didn't feel much chemistry. The kissing scenes were awkward. The FL was a brave and intelligent young woman but her harsh voice is seriously hard to listen. It destroyed just every romantic mood. I wouldn't watch another drama with her as the main lead. Also the motives of the villain were confusing and not consistent, many steps seemed just like to fill the 16 episodes. Therefore the pace felt from the 9th episodes really off and the story got draggy. The timeline was also really messed up. The FL is apparently 28 ys old and ten years ago she was 18 ys old- so why was she still a little girl in the memories of the prince? The ten years gap was mentioned multiple times... not sure if the subtitles were just bad.
The good things: the comedy is fine, the OST is not outstanding but still nice and I enjoyed the life of the prince during his time in the village (though it was way too long). But the best cast was the brother (such pretty eyes!)- he played his role as an assassin very well and was the most interesting person, unfortunately he didn't got more screen time to know more about him and his past.

Not what I expected from the hype....
So, I waited to watch this because it got a lot of hype when it first came out, but it really wasn't what I expected. If you get attached to side characters easily this is NOT the drama for you! Imagine King2Hearts. Don't get me wrong, the acting was great, but the story line was what I had a problem with like why tf couldn't they just kill Kim Cha-eon?!? I mean they did a horrible job of explaining why he couldn't just be "accidentally" pushed down a flight of stairs, or poisoned. They had NO problem killing everyone else. I don't know, I just felt there were too many plot holes -I felt like Ae Weol, Dong-joo, and Yoon Seok-ha were all done wrong in this drama and Prince Seowon really didn't have enough of a part in the series. Was this review helpful to you?
it's kind of good...
i started to watch this drama more than 3 years ago and the first episodes were okay but more i watched more it was boring overall this was my first drama and has a special place in my heart. i think it was kind of sad when the brother of the main character d1ed , d.o was perfect as the role of the crown prince i really likes his acting beside him being idol as an exo-l myself. i really appreciated the soundtrack especially cherry blossom love song that was sang by chen of exo this song is amazingWas this review helpful to you?
