Mi Yeong, who used to be considered the Major Crimes Unit’s top cop, is stationed behind a desk after having a baby. She leads uneventful yet peaceful days at handling civil complaints and looking after her son and unemployed husband at home. One day, an overly enthusiastic detective, Ji Hye, is consigned to Mi Yeong’s team, and they bicker over every little thing from the moment they meet. In fact, they are sisters-in-law, and neither are happy about sitting next to each other all day in the same office. However, differences are pushed aside when a woman who came to file a report gets run over in front of Mi Yeong and Ji Hye. They discover that the woman is the victim of ‘spy cam porn’ and has been threatened it would go up on a community site in 3 days. The two cops take the case to the relevant powers, but due to workload, no one can handle it in time. Ji Hye’s burning passion for justice rekindles Mi Yeong’s sense of duty, and the two decide to take matters into their own hands. (Source: CJ Entertainment) Edit Translation

I want to compare it to Midnight Runners, both have leads that are not taken seriously by their colleagues, and they end up uncovering a big case.. and maybe a little to No Mercy, it's rare to have a female centered plot, especially a crime genre, but they were not the over the top "1 woman vr 100 men" like NM and they were able to keep a great balance...
the case itself is more "real" and current events than the usual human trafficking that most crime garners go for.. its really was heartbreaking...
there's nothing wrong with a light female power crime story, if anything we need more stories like this.. I also really liked the characters ;)
This was a very fast paced comedy with non-stop action. It really seemed like the movie just flew by. There was lots of physical and verbal comedy and it was nice to see an action movie with female leads. They both kicked butt in this movie! The plot isn't too "deep" even though the case is pretty serious (and very relevant considering the high profile cases that have occurred in SK in this past year). If you like buddy action comedies, I think you would enjoy this one.
RMR and LSK are both at the top of their game, eliciting many laughs and "OH DANG!" moments. Yoon Sang Hyun had a smaller, but no less comedic role as the husband/brother of the main pair. He had the knack for being totally useless to his family, but still essentially helpful at the same time.
This movie has some hilarious (and often very inappropriate! LOL) lines, and we just had a fun time watching it!
I will have to say that this movie deals with a pretty serious subject in reference to the case they are trying to solve, and it did invoke the feeling that women's issues aren't taken that serious in SK. Although, this movie shows that the heroines overcome this obstacle spectacularly. I would like to hope that the way they portray the treatment of women is just the stuff of movies, but I have a feeling it's got more than a little basis in fact. Regardless, it was great entertainment, and therefore I will give it a good recommendation! It's even better with a friend. :)
