It’s a cliche story of changing live with someone else and try to solve some problem in the mean time. It’s such an interesting premise, how different the twins are, but I don’t think they use it to it’s full potential. There’re a lot to be explored, in their personal live, but they just focus on the cases handled by Han Kang Ho while he impersonate his brother Han Soo Ho.
I feel like even until the series end there are a lot of issues unresolved in their personal live. It feels too shallow, since they just dealt with day to day issues from the court house. There is the standard main case that they need to solve along with the other cases, but it’s uninteresting and not explored enough. Even though it’s suppose to be the main case, but they did not even explore the players involved.
I’m usually quite impressed with the acting in Korean drama, but unfortunately I’m not that impressed here. None of the side characters are explored deeply, they feel ignored, the story only focus on the main character and that is not even fully explored.
Yoon Shi Yoon playing double character of Han Kang Ho and Han Soo Ho is doing an okay job as Soo Ho, but I think he’s acting too over the top for Kang Ho. I know they’re supposed to different, but he could play it more subtly, I mean it’s a good job that he even have different posture for each character, but the face expressions for Kang Ho feels so forced. I wish he act it like Lee Da Hae in Nice Witch, where she also have to play a twin with 2 different personalities.
I quite like Lee Yoo Young as Song So Eun. She’s a strong heroin with deep empathy. I wish they give more time for the development of her personal life, not just her career in the judicial system.
There’s suppose to be a main villain if you could even say it’s the main since it’s really underdeveloped and underused. All the other characters are not explored so I couldn’t comment on how good their acting or even castings are.
The music is so so, nothing to remember.
I’m not going to rewatch this.

To those who haven't watched it or not satisfied with the main character
Among the legal dramas I have watched (Ms. Hammurabi, Suspicious Partners, and Your Honors), this is my personal favorite. The plot is really unique, and the character development of the main character Kang Ho is really awesome. As the series progresses, Kang Ho becomes more and more mature. Some may find this character childish, but I think Kang Ho was designed to be this way to highlight how one's upbringing affects his personality. This character is mistreated by his mother and spent years in prison since young age due to his brother's lie, so it makes sense that he doesn't know how to behave/ socialize around people and acts up sometimes as a defense mechanism. Also, by building a character this way, it is easy to distinguish him from the real judge (his brother), who seems to be insensitive and emotionless most of the time. While Soo Ho is not necessarily bad, he doesn't have consideration for other ppl' feelings. His judgements seem to be based on the laws only (SPOILER ALERT: even if he knows the dirty truth behind the cases concerning the conglomerate), while Kang Ho is more attentive to the citizens' feelings more. It is evident in the way how he listened and helped the mistreated Osung Group worker, the blind girl, the man who lost his wife and child in the DUI case, and the man who works in the emergency department. I think that Kang Ho is supposed to represent the humane side of a person. Kang Ho and Soo Ho are like two ends of the spectrum with one being very logical (or rather emotionless) and the other being very emotional. The great thing about Kang Ho's bold character is that it made possible for the judge to go all out and against such powerful rich ppl without hesitance. With all that being said, the character Kang Ho is extremely hard to play. Actor Yoon Shi Yoon really carried the role well. This drama is also better than other dramas of the same genre as it discusses many contemporary social problems in Korea at that time. If you look up the views and comments below the videos of this drama uploaded on sbs channels, you would be amazed of how many ppl in Korea love this character. Some international viewers complain about it being unrealistic for a judge to act that way. Well... ofc it is. What do ppl expect? This is not a documentary. Had this been based on reality, Kang Ho would be imprisoned for impersonating a real judge or secretly killed to cover the conglomerate 's case. The point of the story is to show what would happen if a person with a heart and common sense would do in such trials. Most ppl (in Korea at least) would want to act the same way as Kang Ho did, but being in a judge position is impossible. It also takes a lot of guts to jail such big fish in the society.
The OST for this drama is perfect. I recommend y'all hear the audio version of it. It is even better. Comfort, shine, and rain are my three fav songs. I re-watched this drama many times. I loved the scenes with his mom though they are heartbreaking. Those scenes for me were powerful because we could feel and understand why Kang Ho the way he is through the great acting. His scenes against the conglomerate are so badass.

Acting/Cast: 8 out of 10
Though it's true, that Yoon Shi Yoon could have done a bit better portraying Han Kang Ho. And if the writer made the twins with opposite personalities, then naturally their appearance could have been made a little different too. I.m.h.o, Han Kang Ho's physique was too clean with overacted-gangster-demeanor that I found myself fast-forwarding several scenes. It was a bit difficult for me to continue after the first few episodes because of his acting, but I'm glad I did continue.
Music: 10/10! The music/songs are beautiful! In my humble "commoner's" ear, they fit the scenes perfectly even amplified the emotions projected in some key scenes.
All in all, for those of you who like dramas about the law, this one is definitely recommended.

Do you know what's the feeling of getting goosebumps?
Do you know what's the feeling of getting goosebumps? This drama will tell you.I came across with this drama after watching the Psychopath Diary, one of the drama from the ML, Yoon Shi Yoon. And I blamed myself for not watching it more earlier than before as this drama is really a treasure!
Amazing storyline, but kinda disappointed with the ending. (Maybe Season 2? Kinda want that :,-)
Solid and supreme acting from the casts. I kept getting goosebumps from the actor Yoon Shi Yoon, who portrayed twins in here. The looks in his eyes, the gestures, facial expression and etc, make you easily to differentiate the twins. The way he changed his facial expression is as smooth as butter, terrifying and awe. He's good in crying scene too, he
had successfully convert his feelings to us. Next, the FL's character is the kind that I like the most. STRONG FEMALE LEAD. She is not acting like a crybaby and weak FL, but otherwise. The actress is gorgeous and attractive, especially her eyes.
Rewatch value? Definitely a ten out of ten! You wouldn't get bored if you watch over and over again.

Greatest Judge Of All Time
I'll be honest and say I tried this drama out because the premise seemed decent but also majory, I was keen to see the main lead actor Yoon Shi Yoon in another production after his performance blew me away in Psychopath Diary. I'm happy to say, he did not disappoint me at all. I'm a fun of law and drama, the writers stuck to the material and crafted wonderful stories, characters, arcs and downright the coolest judge ever. I used to find lawyers to most captivating figure in the courtroom until this. There's some romance but thankfully, the chemistry was great so I enjoyed watching it blossom.Bad parts; As all Kdramas with romances are culprits of, they unnecessarily drag things out. I'll also confess I didn't care for the restaurant owner side story. Although it's near the end it drags so less of a problem.
I did wish for maybe an entire half episode of just mushy cuteness and family bonding but it was better than nothing.
If I ever were to rewatch this, it would be for every scene Kang Ho annihilated people in and out of the court and being the best goofy boss/boyfriend ever.

Not What I Was Expecting
So I'm going to be honest, I started watching this last year and dropped it, but since I'm stuck at work and home without a social life, I picked it back up again and I have to say that re-watching it was worth it because this is a show that keeps the acting and drama at the front. The ML and FL have great chemistry and you can see it on the screen. While this show is not a highly emotion show like some of the newer dramas; "Your Honor" does have it moments where you will cry and laugh with the actors and actress. In my opinion, the last few episodes contain some of best scenes that I feel really bring out the human side.
For people that want to know if they should watch this series, the answer to that is YEAH. While "Your Honor" is short series in it length, that does not take away from it value as a show.

Character development was minimal and it felt like nobody had any depth to them. There were some people who did things. These people were not very connected either. There were no stories of friendship and there was no emphasis on family relations. All important things just passed as if they never happened and the whole story was kind of bleh. There was no drama either, some viewers might appreciate that, but the synopsis kind of promises drama and action, which is never delivered. The whole story feels distant with flat and one dimensional characters. And then there is Yoon Shi Yoon's cringeworthy overacting...
This drama is only okay at its best. It's boring. Though, for the firat time I wished a drama had at least one more episode. I feel like things were wrapped up too quickly and there were many loose ends. The clicheed 2 years later ending would have been nice.

Unique lawyer drama with a slow burning romance
If you like lawyer dramas with some unique court scenes then you will love this one. The acting is fantastic. Yoon Shi Yoon did a great job with a dual role, playing both sides of a set of twins. Lee Yoo Young really surprised me with her portrayal of the law trainee. I’ve only seen her in one other drama and I liked her in both. The slow burning romance between the FL and ML kept you in anticipation and exploded with the first kiss in episode 22.The side story of the missing sister was heart wrenching and emotional. All the characters were well developed making every episode interesting. The OST was fantastic and I was immersed in this drama the entire time. Only good dramas can hold you like this. Try it, you’ll like it.

It’s worth it?
This drama came up in my Viki recommendations a few times . but I kept on postponing it after reading negative reviews. But this drama surprised me. I really loved it,..The story is nothing spectacular . It’s just like any other twin replacing twin concept.
But what kept me hooked up was the cast and the amazing way it was told.
The ML portrays the two roles just like two actors. We can guess who is the twin from his stance, walk or even the gaze. In the first few episodes his portrayal of one the twin seemed a little over the top ,but once you pass that you will start liking him?
Rest of the cast is good.
Even though the plot is supposed to be serious , it has a lot of moments of where you laugh till your tummy hurts.
Ending seemed to be rushed and the biggest mystery to be unravelled is the dynamics of the mother and the twins. I mean what was that?.
If you like light hearted legal dramas which can actually make you laugh, watch it. You won’t be disappointed ?
