Personal Justice vs Community Justice, Injustice depends on your viewpoint
Better than the other drama of the same name, this is mostly a drama aboutJustice in the korean societal context where chaebol rules, with a tint of romance and the usual corruption.
One of the best dramas involving twins too, Nurture vs Nature.
The only sad part that's keeping this show from a perfect score is sadly a rushed ending, which is very common for kdramas. The ending here is still much better than most kdrama that ends with a trashy ending, and also the actual judge brother plot drops off quickly

Wonderful story about the complicated quest to prove worth
This was a wonderful story! I loved the actor playing HKH since Psychopath Diary. He was wonderful in that drama and he was wonderful in this one, as well! Tasked with playing both HKH and HSH, he did so well that it was always obvious which brother was which and they felt like 2 completely different people. He was so charming and sympathetic as HKH and I really felt for him throughout this drama. His relationship with his mother broke my heart and the fact that he found himself capable of forgiving her was astounding to me. I really wished she would’ve done more to make up for what she did, but the story ends on more of a hope that their relationship improves in the future.
The relationship between HKH and Su Eun was cute overall! I was a bit put off by the dynamic of a man giving his subordinate an impossible amount of work and then taking credit for it. The premise makes the intent behind it less like the typical story of a man benefiting from a woman’s accomplishments, but he’s still leaving her with an unbelievable amount of stress. That aside, the way he cared for her was wonderful to see. He helped her conquer her fears and helped her get her wish regarding her sister. I was rooting for them at the end.
The story of Jae Ho broke my heart. Ultimately, that and the bribery cases and the way HSH treated his brother left a hole in the story for me. There was no sign he ever told his mother that he lied about seeing the knife the first time (?) his brother went to jail. He never really faces any punishment for the way he treated his brother. He never apologized for how he treated HKH and that + the way he ruled as a judge makes him unforgivable. He treated his girlfriend horribly too and that’s never really remedied.
Ultimately, the court cases were interesting to watch. Most of the characters were great and I enjoyed watching the show. HSH, the real one, remains the weakest point for me.

LOVED IT
The story of twins and how they ended up going such different paths in life. As you get more into the story and their pasts you come to rwonder which one is really the good guy and which one is really the bad guy. The lead actor is so handsome it is almost distracting from everyone else. Henis perfect as the one brother but his constant weird facial expressions and slouchy walk as the other brother get a bit annoying. There are many stories of court cases the judge is residing over. One scene from a case is so heart wrenching of a man mourning his deceased wife I had to pause for all the tears. Overall enjoyed this drama very much. Was this review helpful to you?

A Good Law Drama
The actors and actresses all did a good job at portraying each characters, especially Yoon Shi Yoon. He is capable of acting two completely opposite characters and personalities. The actors who played the villains and the victims did such a good job too.The storyline is good and interesting, I love seeing the misfortunate twin brother got switched placed from the fortunate judge twin brother. I also love seeing how FL and her sister supported each other, although I didn't quite understand why FL's sister has to leave.
However, there are some areas writers needs to improve. The ending seems to be cut short and rushed, and the villains of the drama (the three "conglomerate" criminals, the corrupt lawyer, and pervert prosecutor) supposed to be punished accordingly, but it doesn't show in the end or anywhere in the drama (idk about y'all, but until those evils get fair sentencing, I feel like as an audience of this drama, I feel somewhat unsatisfied). The ending only shows FL got off the "falsely accused/character defamation" suit, but I think the writers should've included the downfall of the perverted prosecutor. I think by showing the downfall of evil characters brings a good message to society on how karma works.

I watch this drama because of the two main leads but this drama was nothing but disappointment. I usually enjoy Lee Yo-Young's role in whichever character she played, however I did not like her character. Her character, Song So Eun is too polite, she's a nice character...a little too nice which makes her role boring and uninteresting. The male lead plays a more interesting role but I did not enjoy the acting as he was over-exaggerating his reactions. I don't see much chemistry between the two main leads. The girl would often cry and always putting herself down. I was also very irritated that a lot of people around her tells her that "she's not fit to be a judge". She doesn't fight back but agrees to it. The female lead seems like a "kiss-ass" character to me. The male leads cares for her a lot through his actions but I do not see much chemistry between them. The women is always polite and apologizing while the man tells her not to and talks about something else.
I feel like this drama have a lot of missed opportunities. I could see how this drama could have been better and more interesting. It would have been nice if the male lead doesn't make the female lead do everything for him. It would have been nice to see him reading the laws and complaining about them while the female lead corrects him and teach him. Instead, most of there interaction consists of her going to his desk, meeting after work, and phone calls.
The only thing I find interesting in this drama is the twins brother relationship with their mom.

This is amazing! But...
This show was amazing! The characters, the action, the soundtrack and the tear-jerking moments. The only thing that I wish they did better was the character development of the older brother. In the end, he only helped his little brother once but he didn't have any redeeming qualities. Even the mother developed into someone you could forgive at the end, sadly not the brother. Another thing that sucked was the ending, it was obviously rushed and I wish they spend more time on it. Another thing that deserved more time was the twins relationship. They still didn't like each other at the end and I wish it at least ended with them dealing with their misunderstandings and forgiving each other. Other than that, this drama was great and I'd reccomend it to someone. Was this review helpful to you?

Evitabilissima. Was this review helpful to you?
