This review may contain spoilers
This part is not yet the actual "review" but some sort of a disclaimer.There are scenes in the season that will show substance abuse with unsafe sex practice, rape, implied prostitution and self-harm. And they did not in any way sugar coat it. If these kind of scenes are the things you don't want to see, move on to a different drama/series.
From Season 1, no character is a student. That should give the viewer an idea and a mindset that this is very distinguishable from the typical Thai BL series/drama as it involves school and students. All characters since Season 1 are consenting adult.
Now with that laid out, the proper review:
STORY
================
This season, "Final Call", is how you ruin a good enough prequel.
The plot could have taken a more direct path and should not have included frivolous scenes.
Yes, in the novel Pop will become a Flight Attendant and Oat will be a monk... However, this season feels like it is beating around the bush.
Case in point: Bo and Pent. Even if you take away their scenes, when they are together, you can still get at the outcome of the drama. As for Mo and Nick, they should have limit their airtime. I for one like a proper "closure" for the character of Mo. For the characters of Newyear and Win, they did not directly interacted with Oat, Pop, Bo and Pree; so my question is: "Why include them?". The only logical reason I can think of is that the are preparing a spin-off for their relationship. And to think that their relationship is so messed up, I am inclined not to watch it if ever there would be one. But for Newyear alone, I might watch it.
If the production team did that, remove Bo-Pent and Newyear-Win; and lessen Mo and Nick scenes, they could have include more sweet scenes for the lead characters, Oat and Pop after all, they are the focus of series since season 1. Unfortunately, that did not happened. And give you the impression that they cut corners just to included the said "unnecessary" scenes.
Last rant on how could Oat-Pop more airtime. The side story. I know it is pretty important for series/drama to advertise their sponsors' products and services, however, in this specific series, it is lengthy to say the least. Like in My Tee/Cause You're My Boy. I am wondering, why WTD-FC did do what they did in SS1, when Pent was doing a liver stream, they should have infused the Blued app in this season. Like other thai series, they show their sponsors products within the scenes of the episode. If Blued had a big "advertisement investment" in this series, then sorry, it somehow ruined the series.
For the story proper... What is the greatest sacrifice that you can make to see the person you love most be happy even it means not being with that person or to achieve his/her goal in life. That where the script writer should have focus on this season.
And achieving your ambition or goal in life can make you happy? Will it make you feel complete and contended? Or will it leave an empty space in you knowing that someone made the ultimate sacrifice just for you to be where you want to be?
Unfortunately, Episode 8 did not salvage the entire season as it has damaged beyond redemption eventhough it is the best among the rest in terms of content and emotions.
The quotes: "Fortune favors the bold", "Fortune favors the brave", "Fortune favors the strong", for this specific series, did "Fortune" favored anyone? Or left everyone broken? Or do we need to see the silver lining amidst what happened? Try to be positive and hopeful perhaps? Ultimately, after you watched this series, you decide what will happen next. You make your own ending. Will you unearth the time capsule or just leave it buried for the years to come?
ACTING/CAST
================
Episode 8 showed how Strong and Oreo mature in their acting ability. Needless to say, how Strong shifted his personality from season 1 to this season is a noteworthy performance. For Oreo's improvement is his facial expression. It became more expressive and shows more depth in his emotions.
And as for the rest,they have just been consistent how they acted from season 1.
MUSIC/SOUNDS
================
I never thought when slowing the pace of this song, On Dao Dtok (Romanized) original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiXp7xjDru0 and the slow version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4dujt2ObJQ , will drastically change your emotion. Evidently in Episode 8.
Boy Sompob's OST ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbLyKTGCH6c ) is a fitting ending for this series.
REWATCH VALUE
================
As it is badly produced with cringe-worthy scenes. I could not see myself re-watching this. With the dark themes (not in terms of cinematography) in the plot that did not have any bearing in the totally of the story can throw off anyone from liking this.

I expected a lot more from the storyline
They are great actors and the music is still amazing
But the storyline was extremely disappointing
Season2 didn’t have the same feel to season 1 Season 1 was amazing but season 2 did not reach my expectations
The ending wasn’t 100% bad but it was 100% disappointing ????
It was good if you wanted just a little bit more of the story but still didn’t live up to season 1
If there was a season 3 which I highly doubt it would have to be fantastic to make up for season 2
All together I was not satisfied with This ending

what a waste ..... uncomplete
honestly dont waste your time watching this. it ends with a cliffhanger and the story will forever be uncomplete . the relationship doesnt end here as they hint at the time box. however i doubt another season will come out so it it uncomplete . the couple could have been so much more. it just feels so wasted. if i could i would give it half of a star instead of a full one. its really sad to see couples like this end for no reason. they could've at least had pree meet someone. like i said a waste. it wasn't even sad because there wasn't anything really here. just a monk and an airplane attendant. none of the couple had a really happy ending. everyone who wasn't completely in love were thinking about there exs.Was this review helpful to you?
rather search for a short version - only Mew/ Pree Storyline
After I saw Thanrtype, I wanted to see other BL Series with Mew. The only good here at this show were the few hot and other scenes with Mew - everything else pure waste of time (and material). Such a pathetic guy like this Rambo (mews friend here), I would need puke. How can Pree (Mew) loves someone like this pathetic liar typ . Awful. I am glad that Mew has the Thartype's main role. i will watch it again to recover from this weak series. if here es someone only for MEW, and has not yet seen - go on YouTube and rather search for a short version - only MEW / Pree Storyline - if there is some. It saves your valuable time. Same for season 2.Was this review helpful to you?
Again... what the fuck
So incest, r*ape, self-harm, prostitution, and drug usage were all normalized and okay.I was not expecting much due to the first season. I was only anticipating a fulfilling ending. It didn't even have that. Kind of a cliffhanger with implied meaning, but nothing was satisfying. Also no chemistry this season.
*spoiler for main characters*
They don't get together. Oat says I love you a thousand times, but they never officially get together, kiss, hug, etc. They acted like brothers who kiss(only in season 1). Wait till you see the incest bit though, YIKES.

First BL I regretted watching
Season 1 was not that great in my opinion but What the duck was still fun to watch and I liked the interactions between Oat and Pop. Pop was very cute in my opinion in the first season (especially in the first couple of episodes with his sunscreen and umbrella etc).
But season 2 was a disaster... I really am shocked at how they ruined the series. The story was trash, the side characters were a mess, the airtime was also not divided equally. Especially the ending was rushed and so unclear.
On top of all that mess and confusing stories/events there was a lot of disturbing scenes: incest, rape, and self-harm . What shocked me more was that after the incest/rape Newyear was kept hostage. And after he was let go he didnt want to leave and I was like omg uuuh stockholm syndrome....
This is the first and hopefully last season/series I regret watching.

!!!WORST!!!
This was the worst series i have ever watched the first season was ok but the second....i can not even describe it! 5 rating is to much for this series...really dont watch it! I dont know what the author was thinking.. Apart from the actors that most of them where good,and the good ending for Mo ,the story of evey orher character was unrealistic and it didnt make eny sense...Especially the 2 Brothers, sickest thing i watched...and really most of the episodes had a lot of flashbacks...so it was like watching the same episodes again and again!Was this review helpful to you?
What the actually heck
StoryThe story was so confusing. I literally didn't know what was happening half of the time. The other half was just dumb. I didn't understand the ending. I feel like that could have made it much better by just changing some thing around but no. Points for some of the couples having chemistry.
Acting/Cast
The only reason I gave more points is because I think Mew and Art did good. I didn't like the story of theirs though. The acting was otherwise still rocky and the emotion were hard to see sometimes.
Music
I hated it. Just as plain and simple as that. It was annoying season one's was like an o annoying this was just annoying.
Overall
This literally made the extremely rocky season 1 look amazing compared to the season 2. I don't think it is necessary to watch season 2 just pretend they got together at the end of season one and lived happily ever after.

disappointing
The amount of discomfort I felt watching this season.
Especially during the r*pe, abuse and inc*st scenes. That was, for some reason, normalized???
Should've just stuck with season 1 as it was pretty good, but i was looking forward to this. Knowing how awesome the actors are - I just knew that they were going to deliver.
But as i made progress watching this,
I don't even know what happened, but the storyline was not it at all. It was disheartening and frustrating.
In conclusion;;
Wouldn't recommend watching this as your first bl series.
And I personally would not watch this ever again.

I'm sick and tired of most Asian LGBT series or movie ending like sh*t. First, there is not such thing as liking someone that identifies with your same sex and not being gay.
Second, most certainly not every gay has a girlfriend/boyfriend, and most definitely not every one in the exact same period of time that they realize they like their best friend, coworker or else.
Third, you can choose to be with the person you love and have a happy ending (I know there are a few dramas that end well but it's the minority).
Fourth, you can break up with the person you are dating before you act on your desires.
Fifth, if you don't want to be with someone, or you start having feelings for someone else while in a relationship you should break up with the person you are with, you don't have to wait till that person cheats, or gives you a reason, not wanting to be in a relationship is reason enough.
Last but not least: BEING GAY IS NOT A BAD THING, IS NOT A LIFE SENTENCE, OR SOMETHING TO HATE YOURSELF FOR, IS JUST LIKE YOUR TYPE OF BLOOD, OR YOUR ZODIAC SIGN, IS JUST ANOTHER FEATURE ABOUT YOU THAT'S ALL.

DO NOT WATCH
The actors were all very good with their own respective roles, they deserve it.The series was a messed up for me. It was really confusing. Season1 was good but season2 looks like the director was in a rush to only mess up the whole series . I don’t know what was the motive behind this season, but there is no happy ending at all. Probably the director wanted to showcast that not all BL or Love story has happy endings.
If this is the cast , it’s okay but it was a total disaster and a big disappointment for the fans. Since their was no happy ending for any of the couple.
Pop was always confused he clearly knows its Oat that makes him happy but he just didn’t wanted to accept the fact that he like Oat. Or else Pop was a sweetheart on his own ways.
Oat on the other hand, decided to be a monk (we don’t know if its because he got raped or is it because he didn’t wanted to be the cause for Pop not following his dreams (steward)
Mo - I just wished she was bold enough to stand for her own in season1 against those girls who bullied her. And she has a good ending with Nick. She deserves it.
Pree and Rambo- the couple will make up with sex and break up for weeks! Rambo couldn’t stand against his own father even if he loved pree. Which sucks! Pree was almost ready to snatch Pop from his own sister Mo hahaha!! I appreciate the couple because they really acted natural in all the adult scenes..
I just wished atleast one of the couple had a happy ending. Or if there’s a plan of Season3 maybe everything can be made up in season3 (i.e, the disasters of season2) ..
*The music was really good..
*The actors were good in their own roles.. (Rambo was crying in all the episodes that’s sad! )
*Those 3 mean girls (who bullied Mo deserves an appreciation for their roles hahaha)
*Atleast i wanted Oat and Pop to end up together.
*The story plotline was a big disappointment
*I skipped almost every episode in this season because it was so disappointing .
*I wouldn’t suggest anyone to watch this season, only if they have season3 n makes up for it probably yes! Or else its a big NO !!!!!
*If anyone wants to watch better stop watching in season1 itself .
