From the legend that whoever combines the spirit rod and the blood rod will become a great person, Phanthep, the holder of the blood rod, invests in switching his son Mai with Thiwa, the son of Mek who is the holder of the spirit rod, in the hope that Mek will give the rod to Mai and he will be able to possess both rods. On the other hand, Mek is a disabled driver, but behind the scenes, he is a man who helps the villagers, hiding his identity under a mask. Mek refuses to teach Mai his knowledge because he is afraid that Mai will be harmed. But when Mek is seriously injured from fighting Phanthep, Mek decides to teach him his knowledge and give the spirit rod to Mai. Even though Mai knows that Phanthep is his real father, he has to fight for what is right and to protect Opchoei, his lover. In the end, Mai's goodness and determination allows him to possess both rods and bring peace back to the community.
