When Time Stopped (2018)
An interesting premise brutally devastated by nonsensical writing and plot devices. The core story was as dull as it's presentation. Which by the way, gets negative marks across the board. The color grading, the cinematography, the visuals--- poor at best. The OST might be passable I guess?Theoretically all shows deserve a chance but there's just no upsides to this one. A plot that becomes less and less appealing once it actually starts ramping up. Character dynamics that becomes less and less appealing the moment they interact with one another. World-building that becomes less and less appealing the moment they start crafting.
A lot of "oh, so that happened... huh" moments all throughout the course of the show. Combined with the shallow plot, iffy chemistry of the leads, and low-effort execution... unless you're a die-hard fan of something in this show, there's just no appeal to it.
Honestly, I'd rather rewatch older shows ad infinitum than this one--- even if time stopped.

Bad!
Straight up unserviceable junk!! Disjointed low-budget shallow story that had no redeeming qualities. There aren't many time-stops dramas but this is definitely the worst to adapt the concept. The drama took the concept of time-stop and ran it into the ground. The memes of time-stops in JAV hold more weight than this embarrassment. The worst power-fantasy junk anime is still better than this. The inexperienced cast only brought it down even further. It's not like they had a lot to work with but still couldn't sense any talent in their souls. You can blame one part of the production over another but in reality everyone involved was to be blamed here. Was this review helpful to you?

Could have been good - but failed
6/10 is my rating. This is a 12 episode 2018 Korean drama that rates high on most sites and with time travel, romance, mystery and suspense would seem to be a good combination but it just didn't work for me. The male lead Joon-Woo played by Kim Hyung-Joong moves into the basement of a building where everyone sort of knows everyone and everyone's business. The landlady, Sun-A (An Ji-Hyun) is working herself to death to keep up with the interest to loan sharks from loans her deceased father took out on the building. She is desperately trying to keep the building in memory of her father.Spoiler ? There were several elements of this that did not work in my opinion. They sort of went from being indifferent to each other to being in a romance - I guess - although I really wasn't seeing the connection between the two. There were others in the movie who also had special abilities but they did not spend much time on those stories which was a bit disappointing. There were also grim reapers whose job it was to remove those with special powers before they caused damage by using their powers in the world. It had a lot of interesting elements that could have made for an interesting and exciting story but none of it held together very well for me. I was even bored in some parts and might have quit watching all together if it would have had more than 12 episodes.

Bad show. Great song.
I watched this for Kim Hyun Joong but after a few episodes I skipped to the end. The plot was strange and it was pretty boring. Great song though! It’s been on my playlist for a year now.Loved the time stopping idea but the God character aspect was really unnecessary. They could have gone on so many adventures with that guy chasing them around. The acting was good but I just couldn’t get past the odd spiritual angle. I thought he was going to rescue people by stopping time and return stolen artwork and stuff.

This was a good drama about humanity and how not everything you see is true; there's more than meets the eye. It's for a fact that you don't know how people live their lives and the struggles they face, but you can always be there for them, even by just listening to their stories. This is my second time watching this and I wonder why. The drama seemed to have some awkward kind-of-feeling to it and although it started out really well, it eventually lost it's charm a bit. NONETHELESS, the story's good enough and the casts are amazing, most especially the good-looking male lead. And, of course, I loved the relationship between the two main leads. It was so cute, beautiful and... heartbreaking. I wasn't too sad though. because I know, in the end, those two would always find each other, as they've always done. I also loved the father-son relationship between the reaper and his son.
The OSTs used in this drama are my personal favourites. 'Just for my Love' by Kim Hyun Joong is always on repeat.

The story line not clear, no chemistry between leads. I dont care about KHJ personal issues. Just watched this because I think the title pretty interesting. I like the other similar drama time traveller. First few ep was slow but I like when he stops time, I assumed the god not the only powerful, I thought he might be god (on holiday) or sumthin. Apparently he was prev grim reaper. Aw ok thats make me dissapointed
The kissing almost felt nothing! Lol
Seems 2 strangers got kissed accidentally no chemistry at all unlike secretary kim, I hate drama that lacks of chemistry. Because I’m a big fan of romcom.
Not recommended for a romcom fans. Maybe more like gyeop jeong mellow fans ????

I'll just give it a 5/10. I believe that the story of this drama is really promising but the acting or rather just the actors and actresses are just not it (the side characters though are a little bit fine).
