These 6 guys are probably the hottest cast in any BL.

The story was just ok, im just glad they didnt drag the Pha&Yo getting to know stage and just summarised it in the first few episodes. Its good that they gave the other 2 team enough time to shine too. I especially ship Forth & Beam cause that guy Forth is the goddess gift to mankind :). I could watch a whole series with Forth and Beam just being cute together.

All other stuff are just your yada yada usual trope. Yes, after watching my fair share of BL, this one doesnt offer anything new.

What i probably hate most is the cliffhanger. They were slowly building up to an ending and then suddenly new conflicts are introduced at the very last episode only to not reach a climax/closure. Thats a bit lame and a bit of an insult to fans especially if the sequel is just being planned.

Rewatch just to ogle at the cute guys. Is it enough to watch the whole series? No, not really.

2 Moons 2 is WAY better than what I expected! at first, I was kind of sceptic about this but then I try to give this series a chance AND OMG YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW GLAD I AM . Of course the original series was super great but this series also has it's own charm in a different way! and you guys should totally watch this if you like cute scenes hehe it'll make you crumble to pieces I swear.

Also, what I like about this series is they make storyline in the original season to be put in only first 3 episodes in this series. It's super effective way to make a remake and not wasting your old viewer time. But then, for new viewer can also follow the story and not getting confused. I'm just so happy that I give this series a chance because now I can't wait for the next episodes<3

*edit
I have finished watching all episodes, can't wait for season 3 because the ending is such a CLIFFHANGER
Bruh i just hope they don't change the casts anymore, i really like the way they act as the roles :(

2moons was my first thai bl and it has a very special place in my heart. The cast for the original did a lot to solidfiy the series as one of the must see bl series. That being said circumstances did not allow that project to go anywhere and while it will remain in history as a classic.....that's all it will ever be.
2moons2 had a rough start when it was announced that the original 6 moons were out. People were upset, myself included, that the actors they had grown to love would be replaced by 6 unknowns. It was also revealed that the series would be a reboot, not a continuation of its predecessor, further upsetting old fans.
I was inititally hesitant to watch as well but as I saw that the cast and director clearly but effort into the production and they actually considered international fans by having a platform for viewing as well as subtitles on the same release date I gave the first episode a chance.
From the start of the series you can tell that every actor was on board and that every character would have some value to the story.
In the original series i did not really care for the PhaYo relationship but the actors sold me with this version.
Admittedly the weakest of the 6 moons were MingKit as they felt a little less full than the others but they were cute nonetheless.
Forthbeam was my favorite pairing from the novels and i had a hard time moving on from their original counterparts however the new actors were clearly ready to bring this pair to life and they did.
My one complaint of the show is that the music was lacking.
I really hope we recieve a third season.

In general, a sequel or remake is never as good as the original. This 2 moons 2 is also not an exception..It is an okay sequel. New Phana actor selection does not meet the Phana character physique and manner expectation. To me, Phana character physique and manner (strong and masculine) was perfectly portrayed in the first 2 moons season. The new Phana in the sequel appears to be weaker physically and less manly. Beam in the first season was more attractive and likable. Ming in the first season was more outgoing, entertaining and fun. Lack of music background in many scenes make scenes liveless (like watching movies without any background music to bring audience emotion to the emotions portrayed in the scenes). Background music is imperative to bring audience emotions to to any movies or any tv series scenes especially most important scenes. Without music, to me, the scenes are dead . Storyline is okay. Acting is okay too. Watching this sequel 2 times was enough, for me, while the first season, I can watch 10 or more times. The season 1 music was superb and bringing scenes alive. Musics in the first 2 moons made me loving Thai songs for the first time.

In summary, to me, first season is the best.

**SIGHS**

I am very very disappointed by the season 2 for 2 Moons. The original cast have average acting ( except for Copter and Kim ; they did an AMAZINGGGGG job!!). Wayo in this series looks like he pretends to be cute and looks a little bit fake for me though. Its really cringe for this series to be honest except for the kiss scene. It felt so fucking real. The story line is a little bit fast for me because they want to show the audience the other plot and the development in MingKit's relationship which is good. But damn! I wish they use the real cast instead of using the new cast and even if they did want to use a new cast, i think they should cast someone that have a better acting skills and have more natural charms.

Its kinda sad really. And disappointing because im looking forward to this series a lot and i don't understand why people requesting for season 3 with the same cast like ?????? I might have a higher standard for bl series but if they cast Gun and Off , it could be BOMB! but *sighs* really i don't understand but im looking forward for the season 3 who knows they could improve right?

p/s: shit i sound like an asshole in my review ahhaha but hey at least im honest

The creators only cared about money

This show has a rating of 8.5 which is terrifying to me, that's the biggest insult to the original 2moons series because the original has the same rating. This show does not deserve an 8.5, here's why.
How I usually rate the shows I watch is by my overall enjoyment of it, which is what most people do, rather then rating shows in a critical pov. So I don't usually rate them by acting or story or anything like that because most Thai shows are average anyways, but this show was so bad that it was blatantly just in my face telling me how bad it was.
For starters I get that they were trying to fit both seasons into one season but omg they did it so badly, the entire first season was in the first like 3 or 4 episodes, and it felt incredibly rushed, and it degraded the importance of a lot of scenes. And because of this, the main couple felt aggressively underdeveloped, like it went from 1 to 100 real quick, and then for the rest of the series they were pretty much useless, because they were no longer an interesting plot to build onto after the first 4 episodes and turned into just purely fanservice, and then every time I thought they would be of use in a storyline with a conflict, the conflicts fell short and were just stupid, to the point they just felt like filler episodes. But that wasn't even the worst part of the main couple, they made Phana into a jealous toxic monster, like one moment he'd do something really nice and id like him, then the next he would be very toxic and way too jealous and overprotective, and then I remembered I hated him. Like his character ruined the relationship for me, cause he wasn't the lovable, cool, cold-hearted but secretly kind Phana I knew from the original 2moons, he just made me uncomfortable in this show.
Now, to talk about MingKit, I think they had the best plot out of the series, not necessarily great, but definitely not as bad as the others, and it made the most sense, and of course, was very cute. The only issue I had with it was the part with Kits brother, everything else to my memory was fine.
Moving on to ForthBeam, this was actually my favorite relationship for most of the series, despite having a worse plot then MingKit. I had a soft spot for Fouth, his character was just so cool. Plus FourthBeam wasn't a relationship that got to happen in the original 2moons because the original didn't have a season 2, though I didn't really want it to happen in the original because I didn't think the casting was good for them to be together, but in this 2moons I actually loved the casting for Fourth and Beam so it made me like them more. Like not gonna lie, the highlight of this series was Fourth for me. One thing I found weird though was Beams crush on Kit, like its common to like your best friend in shows and in real life, but usually good shows will hint at it, but to find out Beam liked Kit was so out of place and random, but not even in like a good plot twist kinda way. Also I said this was my favorite couple for MOST of the show because near the end I had realized that there were a lot of weird things that happened, like for one Fourth basically only started liking Beam because they had sex, and he legit said the next morning that "I don't do one night stands" so basically he meant, he didn't wanna just forget and move on like what Beam wanted to do, cause Fourth caught feels, which I just thought was strange and rushed, like they weren’t even close. Also, the whole sex scene was poorly directed, the whole time I was just thinking about what I could have done to make it better. Anyways other than that, I guess their relationship was cute, but how it started sucked, and some other nit picky things at the end.
Now I have to talk about acting. It was bad, like so bad. If I had to choose the best actor it would probably be the guy who played Fourth, which is just another reason I liked his character. It was still average, but better than the other peoples. Like the acting in this show pissed me off so much, especially in the first few episodes because they took my favorite scenes from the originally and turned them awful with their bad acting. The director and producers literally held auditions in the middle of a mall, so obviously this was not professional actors by no means.
BUT WHAT I HATE MOST ABOUT THIS DAMN SHOW, is the fact that the director, producers, and writers, completely ignored any idea of making a good show. LIKE THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY. You can very easily tell they only focused on fan service, as if they think the more nsfw scenes the better the show. And yeah don't get me wrong, I love good fan service, but I also like shows having an actual plot, and actual conflict, and actual decent actors. I am not kidding when I say this, this show was made so badly, that I could have written this better than them.
I don’t even know why I watched this whole thing, like even the positive things I wrote in this review were heavily overshadowed by every aspect of the tv making process being horrendous, and blending in to one big mess. Perhaps why I watched the whole thing, and the reason everyone else for some reason thinks this is a good show, is because we were blinded by the excessive nsfw scenes (which aren’t made well either). So I may have watched the whole thing but I ended up just criticizing every scene because they’re wasn’t a moment where something wasn’t just blatantly in your face to remind you that the creators did not give a shit about what they were making. They used the cute story of 2moons and created toxic waste with a bunch of fanservice, because all they actually cared about making was money. This is the worst show I’ve ever seen, but I wouldn't have even written this review if this damn show wasn't rated so high when it doesnt deserve it.

Okay, I was all ready to give Season 2 an 8 rating, but I've dropped it down to 6.5 overall.

Why? Well... the cliffhanger at the end was pretty bad. I'm okay with cliffhangers, but this one was just kind of lame for me. I really didn't buy into the whole "Yo was absolutely scandalized by the pic of him with a hickey." I've read that, apparently, Park broke into sleeping Yo's room, drugged him and then raped him.

Please. I'm just not buying it. It's so unrealistic, I just don't care. Sorry.

But there were a lot of good things about this series! Loved Forth especially (total hottie and a good actor). ForthBeam were so good together. MingKit as well. I give the actor who played Pha a lot of credit... he didn't really look the part, but he pulled it off well enough. Wayo was very cute, his acting was just okay... the scene where he broke down crying was unconvincing... there were definitely no real tears.

I mostly liked it better than Season 1, but the writing was disappointing, in my opinion. Let's get the ridiculous "rape storylines" out of these BLs, unless they're going to make it into a major drama, bringing to light how horrible it really is, and sending the perpetrators to jail.

This is somewhat of an unconventional review; more an opinion than the standard format I usually follow.

What Wayo did to Park inviting him to the movies and feeding him popcorn to get Pha jealous was despicable; it left a very bad taste in my mouth and I lost all respect for the duplicitous little angel (Wayo) and watched the rest of the series with great displeasure.

What was the director thinking including a scene like this one… what did it contribute? For all I know, Park may have been a good guy turned bad by Wayo’s unconscionable behavior (at least in the movie - I understand the novel portrays him in a very different light). Park - no doubt - did wrong posting compromising pictures of Wayo, but Wayo did worse using him in such self serving manner while at the same time posing as the tender little hypocritical angel he turned out to be.

And some of you will say, “Wayo was only trying to make Pha jealous”, to which I answer: You’re missing the point! Wayo malevolently used a human being who was expressing interest in him and had until that point tried to make amends.

For all of Wayo’s defenders out there, there is a saying: “Don’t label an angel good who has managed to awaken the devil”.

Mourning Once Again...

I wasn't at all happy to hear about there being a new cast after seeing 2moons and falling in love with Wayo (Bas to be more specific), but I won't lie, this cast swept me off my feet as well, maybe even more than the first. All actors did an amazing job and the story was further built upon (we got to see Forth and Beam, how exciting is that??!), but, the team behind the 2moons franchise failed these dudes ONCE AGAIN.
I loved Earth as Wayo. He did an excellent job at acting impeccable, cute, and just a ball of sugar. I loved the decisions that he and Ben did with their characters and I loved watching them on screen together. Although I won't lie, I loved Ming and Kit so much in this series. I was so mesmerized by Ming the entire time. He had these eyebrows that captured my attention so quickly and I love Joong so much. Nine and him had the best chemistry out of all the couples. Forth and Beam were perfect as well. We finally get to see their story, and man was it SPICY. Dome is adorable, and Pavel is downright gorgeous, they played a flawless couple.
Even though the story was the exact same, these actors actually added so much to the plots and the characters. I loved the different dynamics of each couple; Wayo and Pha were loveable and sentimental, Ming and Kit were comedic and sunny, and Forth and Beam were sexy and sensuous. Each had a narrative that could appeal to so many different types of people which is what made this story so perfect.
Once again, the plot was still nothing special, except we got to see more and ForthBeam actually had a story. Other than that, it was still a light and fluffy series and a nice watch just to get in a joyful mood.
Outside of the show, the team and whoever is behind the 2moons franchise has hurt these boys just like they had the first cast. If you didn't know, they are once again recasting each main character for 2moons3. At this point, a 2moons3 is pointless and seems so far-fetch that they should just cancel it. Mello Thailand is a problematic company that has done so much wrong to the boys, especially Earth, that I doubt anyone would be dumb enough to audion for the third season. If anything, I try to stay away from any Mello Thailand series since they don't know how to treat their employees. I will once again be mourning the death of this amazing cast and praying for the new ones once they take over.

I was skeptic to watch coz if change of cast and production. This is not a continuation of season 1. More like another adaptation in itself. They tried to put story of whole season1 in first 3 episodes and it felt rushed. I don't like the actor casted as Phana hands down don't care if u disagree.
He is gud but I cud feel no chemistry between him and Wayo. He did his best but not gud enough. Other couples MingKit and ForthBeam and truly satisfied with the actor and their acting. I liked old cast but the new one didn't dissapoint me at all. Kit was damn adorable and Forth was damn hot lol. Wayo was cute too but i prefer old Wayo. Honestly PhaYo is the only one I had problem with I'm sorry. In later episodes putting them felt soo forced. I was enjoying MingKit the whole time. I wish they casted old Wayo back and a different Phana since I didn't like first one either. Anyway its a gud one and since thr is season 3 coming stay tuned though I'm not sure how it will go

Definitely better than first season.

Not gonna lie, I was highly skeptical of this show because I loved the cast of s1 too much. Therefore took my time before watching it. But honestly ever since the first episode, what I loved the most about this show was the cast. They are all good actors and are also good looking. And the most important thing, they have phenomenal chemistry. Specially ming and kit. Chemistry was the one thing that specially lacked in s1.
Coming to the story, it began from the very beginning, so even if you haven't watched s1, there's nothing to worry about. You can just start from s2. And since the whole story of s1 is covered in only 3 episodes, it's not a waste of time fro those who have already watched s1. The pacing of the story is fast as compared to the previous season which is actually better. Also, the story in itself is pretty good. I specifically liked MingKit storyline.
Now the music, the title ost sung by augustt is so good!! I listen to it on repeat. Although I do feel that the music section could've done a bit better during the scenes. There was an eerie silence in a lot of scenes which I didn't like.
Next, acting. It was pretty good from everyone. Forth and beam had good chemistry as well. Phana and wayo were my least fav couple but even their acting was good.
Seriously Pavel and nine and joong and all other actors are so good looking so there's definitely eye candy value to the show.
All in all, a good watch. Not a waste of time, and better than first season which definitely left me wanting for more since the stroy was so short.
Looking forward to season 3.

Overated cringey drama with a bad story

I wanted to check this one out cause ive seen everyone was going crazy about it and now that finally watched it i really dont know why it has such a high rating. The plot/story in my opinion is nonexistent. Everything revolves around the "lets be together" nothing interesting. The main couple is boring. The actor who plays pha even though his acting is ok he doesnt really fit the character. Also Wayos acting was bad. He kept glaring people while looking down everything he did his movements seemed forced. The supporting couples stories were more interesting but still not enough. Overall this drama was cringey. The most interesting scene was on the final episode. I dont recommend it.
