is it better than 2 Moons? Hell yes
Here we can find chemistry, good acting skills, better scenes and much more adorable
I really enjoyed it 100 times than 2 moons, like I never rewatched 2 moos idk but I couldn't.
Favorite ship: MingKit
I really adore them. My favorite scenes are first when Kit kicked Ming from the bed because he was faking and Ming thought that he wouldn't do it. ( Aii Ming!!!!) always in my head.
also, I like the scene when Ming asked Kit to be his boyfriend that cute hug was everything.
Why I wouldn't rewatch it a lotttt ? because there are few scenes of my favorite couple that's the only reason.
Anyway I can't wait for the next season!!

The cast of this show are AMAZING, they are legit the epitome of chemistry. This will not contain any spoilers, but just been in for a cliffhanger! I like the way this show unfolds and tells a story, a journey of love. Definitely, recommend watching this show in between waiting on subtitles to drop or new episodes for your new show.
I found the second couple super adorable, I even went on a Youtube spree to find out more about them outside of the show. All in all, I stayed for the storyline for the main couple, but I really got glued to my seat for the second couples chemistry, trials, and tribulations because they had quite a few.

-- STORY
The story follows the plot of a the first two books of เดือนเกี้ยวเดือน (Moon Courting Moon), novels by Chiffon_cake. The plot goes as follows in the summary above. The way they portrayed this story in the show was just absolutely amazing. The way they managed to pace two books into one series in the same about of time the original story fit one book into one series was just perfect.
-- ACTING / CAST
I wasn't sure about the cast originally because of what I previously mentioned but now I don't think they could have casted a better group. Each actor really embodied their characters even more so than the original cast did. Ben (Pha) and Earth (Yo) did an amazing job in each and every scene, I have such a soft spot for Ben now. Joong (Ming) and Nine (Kit) were absolutely perfect, now I loved the original Ming and Kit but this pair truly had chemistry in any situation. Joong is such a dreamy guy, his portrayal of Ming was so spot on, I fell for him almost instantly. Then Nine with Kit, I could feel how he wanted to be with Ming but there were so many internal struggles pulling him back so he just couldn't let it happen. Then finally Pavel (Forth) and Dome (Beam), I was never a big fan of Forth but Pavel did a great job. Dome was alright but I kind of expected a bit more from him, he's beginner (like all the actors in this) so I can't be too critical. Overall the acting and cast were so amazing and I look forward to what they will bring to the table next.
-- MUSIC
August really gave us a BANGER with this opening, I literally have it downloaded onto my phone. I don't want to hear any negativity toward this intro because it slaps harder than any intro ever has.
-- REWATCH VALUE
I would this over and over again every day if I could. Honestly, I've rewatched it twice already.
-- OVERALL
2Moons 2 is easily one of my favorite releases of the year, I'm glad they put so much effort into this series and that they are planning on continuing it with 2Moons 3. I will impatiently wait for more new on that but until then, I will be okay watching this. Wow now I want to rewatch it again!

I was first very sceptical about the recast and didn’t watch the second season immediately. Actually I wasn’t too fond about the first season, which felt so far from reality in every aspect, but especially Bass has kept a special place in my memory and heart. However, I don’t regret that I watched the second season eventually. Some aspects I really liked about season 2:
- The idea of remaking the whole first season within the first couple of episodes was a good one (although it was not that well-executed).
- Some of the new cast members did a surprisingly good job: my personal favourite was new Forth, but also new Wayo surprised me.
- The storyline around Park did succeed in bringing some real drama into the story and the writers made him a surprisingly ambiguous character (he had me fooled for a moment, back in the cinema).
- I can’t complain about missing queer representation, Wayo’s Gang made me love the season much more. Sure, it’s highly stereotypical, but in a good way imo.
- Kit’s family was another aspect of the storyline that made it feel more real and down-to-earth to me; his brother was overacting, but eventually had a nice way of showing affection.
There is a lot that bothers me about this season as well, though
- The music. I mean, the title song was really okay and even in line with the season 1 title song, I don’t expect Getsunova-style hits in every series I watch. But the overall soundtrack was extremely boring and sometimes seemed incomplete, as if they had left out some scenes in post-production entirely (I thought my audio was broken in some moments). Come on, I need music for it getting to my heart!
- Some of the actors were not convincing at all, and I feel like that applies to more of them in this season than in the first one. From the main cast, I just couldn’t get used to Ben, his facial expressions were so out of touch with his scenes sometimes.
- Overall, the story is so pointless! I can’t even decide which season was worse in that regard. It left me with that empty feeling all over again. It’s probably the very definition of yaoi, but I just can’t fully appreciate a story without a story.
There’s a lot that could be improved for season 3 (if it is realised), but I have not much hope for that, since the source material is what it is. Because I am a BL lover, I’m probably not as critical about this (and season 1) as I should, so I will give both seasons 8*. That might be too much compared to more “serious” and more thoughtful dramas, but after all I gave Love by Chance 10*, so with that as my guiding point 8 seems fair to me.

First off , I know this is based on a novel, but I haven't read it so...sorry.... also this is my first ever review on a BL drama, I've only recently started to watch some.
I watched this with no bias, I've seen the first season but think 2 MOONS 2 is WAY better than the first, even though the first has some positive sides to it.
For 2 MOONS 2 I think the change in actors was really positive, the only actor I liked from the first was Kit, but the Kit in 2 is also very cute and a good actor.
I loved the series, from the first episode to the last, the story had a good flow, the actors did a good job in portraying all the feelings. It sure made my skin crawl at all the cheesiness...but ...boy ...was it fun and cute !!! I would find myself swooning at the scenes of Forth and Beam, I never had a favorite couple in a BL! Now I do... I'm not really into Phana and Wayo, but they are cute and make a great couple, as for Kit and Ming well I think they are going to further develop their story in season 3, so I'll be waiting... as for what I saw in this one ...I loved it, Ming is one tenacious dude and Kit is just a Kitty...LOL...
I don't like spoilers... so I hope everyone will give this a try... I almost didn't because online comments were so over the top...BUT... because I know better I went with my gut... and I'm happy because these were the best hours I spent on a BL drama so far!!!
Have fun
XOXO

The chemistry for all the couples were great but i had found myself more invested into forthbeams relationship when they started getting scenes together.
I didn't initially like the cast before watching this, its why i was hesitant but they are amazing. Their acting and chemistry is on point. I really liked the story line and the music.
It wasn't boring at all. If you are worried about it being the exact same thing as 2m, it isn't. Up till ep 5-ish its like a compressed version of the entire 2m but after that, it is its own thing.

First off, what I didn't know until I was halfway into this drama, was that this was 2 Moons 2, and not the first one. I had no clue that this was a remake of the first one and I shall watch that one. Okay, now down to it. First of all, all of the couples are absolutely cute and are goals. BUT. But it felt a tad bit unrealistic. My reasons:
The chances of two people liking each other at the same time, not uncommon but not common either. I felt Wayo and Phana's relationship was a bit too easy. What I mean is that even though it took them 5 episodes for them to get together, it felt too easy.
The other couples were cute and the only semi-realistic one was Ming and Kit. They were at a kind of odds at first, and Kit was a bit hesitant on the matter, it was cute. It seemed like something that could happen.
Beam and Fourth's relationship is a big trope in the drama world. Their relationship started like Korn and Knock's seen in Together With Me, Sandee and Thada's in Kiss: The Series, and probably many more. Afterward it was cute and could happen.
My last thing to add to this is that they say they love each other too frequently that I felt it lost its meaning. I feel like love comes after you're with a person and definitely not before. All of the couples in this said they loved each other before they were with each other and it annoyed the hell out of me. All in all I'd say it's adorable and watch it at your own discretion, but it's definitely worth the watch besides my complaints.

Cute, Pleasant, but Full of Indecisiveness
Much like ‘ 2 Moons’, this is not some in-depth character study. On the contrary, it is an ordinary and mundane story about 3 couples. For some weird reason, it is the same story as '2 Moons' but from slightly different perspectives and not using the same actors. So if you liked '2 Moons' you might be drawn to this. What bothered me about this series is the characterizations of supporting roles. All too often they are treated as ‘throwaway’ characters but that is unfair and painful to watch. As a proud older gay man, I get weary of effeminate, campy over the top gays as superficial characters who have no feelings. They do. And I especially dislike heavy set one being called derogatory terms like Fatty or Hippo even by their same community. We are better than that. This has nothing to do with culture or country but it has everything to do with humanity and acceptance. Let's do better. Was this review helpful to you?
The cast's acting was so good and their chemistry was incredible! Can't wait for 2 moons 3 with (hopefully) the same cast from season 2! ^-^

Don't skip out on 2 Moons 2 even if you watched the first version
Essentially, 2 Moons 2 is part of everything that happened in the first version of the show and an extension of what happens after the Moon competition between Wayo and Phana. A lot of what happened in 2 Moons is condensed into four to five episodes in this version and the rest of episodes are new story lines and plots, which I won't give away. So, I did enjoy 2 Moons and I felt the actors who played Phana and Wayo best matched their characters look and mannerisms. In 2 Moons 2, not so much. I do enjoy that the in 2 Moons 2, Forth's character doesn't go away and he gets his own love story. The same goes with Kit, Beam and Ming. Can't wait until the third installment.
