Oxygen Episode 1 Reactions
The story starts off ok, but doesn't really pull us into the story. On the other hand, there is also nothing that would really put me off watching. I guess we can all afford to be more patient.Gui and Solo's attraction to each other seems rather sudden. There should have been more, such as showing Solo's loneliness and how he feels comforted by Gui. Gui's background should also have been fleshed out a little. I actually get more reading the synopsis on MDL than watching the show, which doesn't quite show Gui's struggles. Not sure if the synopsis turns out to be accurate or if there are going to be differences in the show.The other couple, Kao and Phu, reminds me of Inn and Korn in Until We Meet Again. Hope they end up well though.

The script seems to be weak to where the situations are awkward and forced. They dialog is not natural and free flowing. Because of this it makes it painful to watch. I think that this would make it difficult for any actor to have to make it believable. It would be nice if this changes in the up coming episodes, but I am kind of doubting it. With the scenarios the actors are put in it has to be hard for them to act and make it natural. To me this causes them not to be relatable to each other or to the audience.

Well, I liked Boss Thanabat. He can act.
Overall, I found the characters had no personalities and it all seemed driven by topes. It really makes me uneasy to continue seeing women being used as the squealing representatives of the industry's idea of their fanbase. I don't care to wait to find out if they eventually pass the Bechdel test; I rather doubt it.

I like it so far, and the prospective side couple has me intrigued. I’m a little put off by how the main couple for some reason that I can’t figure out, but am anticipating that to end soon. Also, not sure about the doctor pair right now??? Are there feelings there?? Pretty hype for episode 2!

I don't know why but the dialogues seemed dry to me...Maybe it will get better later since its just the first episode? I have no idea. A lot of cringe moments - checked! The production is pretty nice - it doesn't look like a school project so that's fine to me. Overall, I was a little bit bored but I guess its just because the drama starts a little bit slow. It's not a bad thing!!

I really liked this episode it was really cute, and they were really honest about their feelings, but it wasn't boring. I can tell this is going to be a good drama.

It's good. It is a little surprising that they mixed 2 novels - "Oxygen" and"Nitrogen". But I liked it, because I really like original novels and for me it's more of an illustration to them. By the way, a very correct illustration - they calmly and carefully go through the story. The actors are good, the shooting is expensive, the level of "Steel 2 Gether".I liked the first episode. I hope I won't be the only enthusiastic fool. )))
