In order to get news, Nit follows Pawee and his father to a psych ward, where she finds out that Pawee's mother is still alive and not dead like his father had announced to the media. Nit's mother, who is a nun, goes to the psych ward to see Pawee's mother often to talk to her, there Pawee's mother, who went crazy from Pawee's playboy father, begins to form a bond with Nit. Pawee is upset from the news about his mother still being alive (because it was supposed to be a secret) and begins to have a lot of misunderstandings with Nit, while his girlfriend Pen (who was really happy she wouldn't have a mother-in-law) is very upset at this secret. Ni, who is Nit's sister, is a mistress to Pen's father. Nit does not agree with her sister's actions and refuses to acknowledge this older man, but she cannot stand to leave her sister, who has a weak personality. After some time, Pawee's father is able to comfort Pawee's mother to go home. Pawee's mother hates Pen at first sight and forces Pawee to marry Nit. Will Pawee and Nit fall in love after being tied down together? How will their relationship be after all the twists and turns? I don't really know what to say so let's just follow the list.

First, story. I affirmed that I have watched this version completely and may have skipped a few scenes which are cliches and so I would know what's going on without really seeing it. Another reason would be, I watched the 2008 version around a third of the way to the end. So, I kinda know the story already. I think it was a good story, very vague here because there's nothing super unique here that makes it good. What I can say is that regardless of there being a 10 year gap between this and the previous version, what I can say is that this version's take on the story is much different compared to the older one. I feel the older one to have much raw emotions whereas here is much more on the fierceness and their stubbornness. Comparing two similar scenes from both versions, I can tell they try to make it emotional for the older one while for this one they just touched on it for plot progression.

Another point I would like to say is that the writers truly tried to "learn from their mistakes" kinda thing for this version by cutting some scenes and revamp some scenes which I think was perfect although there were some funny scenes which I was disappointed that they cut it. About the romance, yes I love it. I lived for the leads' scene together but as some have noticed, it was never detailed how the leads' fell in love with each other. It's like they argued and argued and argued and then suddenly you noticed they have some feelings for each other

On the cast, this one I can't deny that they chose very well. The FL was able to show a super scary and fierce side at one minute and then be vulnerable and emotional the next minute which I liked a lot. Many people said the FL was less beautiful than the SFL but I think she's beautiful enough. The ML was handsome but he's more towards the cute side. And this is where I believed the dynamic of their scenes together becomes different due to his looks. I loved the Mother's actress, plainly she was probably one of the reasons I watched this drama because looking from the trailers she was bound to be a really funny character and she really did! She's truly one of the highlight of the show! And probably the only truly crazily clever one in the show because as she said " she ate lots of fish". The rest are okay but the casting for the maids? Siripon and Jitjai, I don't know, I really don't feel it was necessary to have two of them. It was better only one like the older version. Overall, good casting. And the acting, no words to describe better but excellent.

Music, I was plainly annoyed by the music during the first half and most of the episodes because whenever they argued or there was some struggle scenes, the BGM would play and it's a really "make you wanna fight" music which I don't particularly like. They only had one OST on which tune they played around with, which well I liked. The OST was beautiful and really expressed the leads' story, a touch which I liked about the song.

Rewatch value? Hmm, I would probably watch it again but maybe focused on the interesting and funny and romance scenes. At this moment, I am currently downloading every single episode for it. So yeah, I will most probably rewatch it. To be honest, while waiting for the subs, I still watched the unsubber spoilers figuring out which episode had the good scene and can't wait to see it subbed and then watched the same scene when it's already subber. So what more won't I do.

Overall, I don't really know what to say so I just blabber on but this was definitely a good story and one interesting thing here is that even if you watched the older version and then watched this version or vice versa, you won't get lost in the story or who is who, as their mannerisms, speech and characteristics are all similar. But the tone and how the story plays out is certainly different and made it a good show.

PS. If my review was lacking, I'm sorry, I really want people to give it a try.

PSS. I would like to take this chance to salute Neko Meow Meow who despite having troubles three times or so while subbing this drama with her website, she still managed to continue and subbed it really really fast, at first once a day and then twice a day and then to finish off, she did three for the last day. She was an awesome heroine subber!!

A hardcore fan of 2006 version. I re-watched it many time until I memorised those dialogues they said. This is the first drama that urged me to self-study Thai language. This shows how much I love it. Honestly speaking, at first I was so disappointed that they casted newbies as leads in this 2019 remake because Khing Kor Rar Khar Kor Raeng is a type of drama that will be completely ruined if they cast the wrong people for the 3 main roles (both leads and ML's mother). These three characters carry the whole show. The 2 leads have a lot of screentime together though majority of them are their fighting scenes. Though, this 2019 remake used about 90% of the script from the previous version, it was able to give a different feeling to viewers. The tone and mood are different and I must say in a good way.

Having known the whole story and being able to recall every line each character said, I am amazed that this 2019 remake was still able to hit me hard...harder than expected. It's funnier, crazier, more fierce but more emotional, more soft and sweeter at the same time. I was in a rollercoaster of emotions through out the whole drama. I love both ML and FL much more than 2006 version. I'm not talking about acting skills of them but their portrayal of characters. ML was a jerk at the beginning but changing himself later and it was so adorable. It's like love changing him to be a better person who no longer looking down on people. His behaviour changed not only toward FL but to all people. FL was so feisty to the point some people wonder how come ML fell in love with her. While watching the drama, I felt like I were an ML who unknowingly falling for FL slowly as the story progress. There are so many sides of her character. The transformation from feisty, aggressive, childish girl to emotional, sweet, gentle woman is smoothly portrayed. I'm amazed...I love the actress and she made me love and understood FL character much more than before. This is what 2006 ver lacks: the lack of character development of ML & FL (he was not much of a jerk at the beginning so the change of his character later in the story gave lesser impact...and she was strong headed from the beginning till the end). I didn't believe that remake could outdo the original but this 2019 remake outdid the previous version for me (I apologize if i offend anyone. It's my opinion only from a big fan of the previous version).

P.S. FL is so pretty. The more I look at her, the more I find her pretty. What a unique face and model body she has.
