If you enjoy these two main actors you will probably enjoy an older version of them during their new career lives! I don't know if it's just me... but "My Girl" seems like a sequel from "My Youth" with their older adult selves in another life (falling in love once again... with more romance and drama! Maybe it's meant to be...)!! Even the show titles are similar!! XD
-Naughty boy/bad boy friend is the ML.
-FL likes the good and kind boy first.
-ML and the guy FL likes are bestfriends.
-ML knows that she likes his friend.
-Both dramas go from highschool to workspace.
-Enemies to lovers.
-90's setting.
-Friendship.
-Similar personalities of the characters.
I am telling you, if you like My youth then you WILL like A River Runs Through It.
And also if you want a drama like A River Runs Through It then please watch My Youth.
You will not be disappointed.

'Wait, My Youth' has a similar setting and character dynamic to 'Just an Encore'. The FL dreams of being the girlfriend of one of her classmates, a friend who is smart and kind in addition to being a talented pianist. Meanwhile, the guy's best friend is in the same class as the two of them. He gives off a vibe that's the direct opposite: sullen and rebellious. He and the FL start off by disliking each other and make no attempts to hide it. Soon, however, they become deskmates, and while the FL remains fixated on the boy she likes, the other boy realizes his feelings for the FL are changing in a way he never expected.
The series tells the story of how the FL and this "bad boy" (who turns out to be not so bad -- in fact he's an incredibly sweet and supportive boyfriend) eventually fall in love, and it follows them through high school, college, and young adulthood. The way all of the characters transition is done so convincingly that you barely notice as it's happening.
Cap everything off with a happy ending, and you have what is one of my all-time favorite series.

'Wait, My Youth' and 'When I Fly Towards You' are similar in many ways. They are both Chinese dramas about a group of school friends who follow their dreams. They are stories about naivete of young love, the pureness and the beauty of friendship.
Both are Chinese youth dramas with similar story lines - slightly awkward, not-standardly-pretty high school girl befriends handsome high school boy(s). In the case of A Love So Beautiful, expect a story a little more similar to Playful Kiss/Mischievous Kiss, but not a remake.
Both are coming of age-dramas, quite easy on the mind (comfort-dramas), following a group of friends, and with a somewhat awkward female protagonist.
This show is somewhat similar to Just an Encore as both juggling with long distance relationships (?)
But one thing for sure both conveyed the youth well and managed to provide a meaningful message to the youths. The both dramas are similar as both dramas are about the friendships of the group of friends, love triangle and FL liking the 2nd male lead when the ML is chasing the FL. ML is always there for FL and 2nd male lead realized his love for FL but it's too late.

They are under the same genres: romance, school, youth, friendship, slice of life.
I feel like My youth has a similar setting to River flows to you. This focuses on friendship. The boy is always there for the girl no matter what. There are rivals too ;)
RFTY shows a boy and a girl who grew up together and one eventually falls in love with the other, which is quite similar to my youth .
Differences
River flows to you has more family involvement
The girl is very poor in RFTY
Few friends
'My Youth' (or 'Wait, My Youth') has a similar dynamic between the two leads, with the ML initially aloof and somewhat antagonistic toward the FL. The FL does not chase after him, though, but instead is attracted to another boy, who happens to be the ML's best friend.
It's the ML who slowly comes around to realizing that he was wrong when he once admonished her by saying he could never like a girl like her.
The story follows them through high school and college and into young adulthood, and has a definitive HEA.
