Many comments I've read said if I wanted to watch something similar to Le Coup De Foudre I should watch this and I did. The trailer kinda fooled me and got me hooked into thinking that this could help me stop binge watching Le Coup. It's not a total disappointment but I found some loopholes. I think this should have been a mini series or a drama special with 2 episodes.
The leads were fine with their roles. I liked the nerdy ML at first but found it a bit creepy that he planned her life so he could fit in. In reality that's creepy but in the movie world I guess you'd find it endearing.
The confession scene was like a summary of how he plotted to fit in her life somehow and maybe for her to like him too. I can't blame him though. The FL was endearingily cheerful a kinda person you'd like to be friends with.
The classmate from high school is kinda an ass I mean she doesn't like the ML but since she thinks he likes her he can't like anyone else and when he does she starts to act like she likes her too.
I wish the senior who flirted with the FL had more scenes I think it would have added some jazz to the story.
Childhood sweetheart themed stories is a cup of tea I like but this movie is a so so. I would definitely watch it again just to feast my eyes on the ML whose really handsome after the makeover and the adorkably cute FL who lives her life to the fullest righteously.
I have to say this does not compare to Le Coup but if you want to watch something lighthearted and put a smile on your face this movie is worth watching.

Lovely underrated movie.
☆Watch if you like bunnies.Don't watch if you hate apples.☆
I shall give a few reasons why this movie was good.
1. The female lead has an adorable quirky personality that you can't help but love, with a natural beauty and not one of those annoying high-pitched voices.
2. The male lead is cute and shy but still very handsome and smart.
3. A lot of fluffy and really funny scenes that make you blush and laugh.
4. Storyline was surprisingly fresh in it's own way.
In short, a cute drama thar you should just give a try :)

Fresh and cute ^_^ I love when Lin Lin really did a study before Yu Ku's light is off. If that's me, I will read mangas. LOL. She's so natural in a natural way, meanwhile Yu Ke's stoic attitude is kinda cute too, especially when Lin Lin ask which comes out first, chicken or egg. LOL. It also warmed your heart when Yu Ke face his biggest fear to help Lin Lin ^_^I love the story idea and so the conflict, but I think it will be better if they show more conflict with Duan Xi, not only with Ru Ting. The other thing I love about the movie is the song. I am a bit surprised when I hear 'I Won't Let You be Lonely' (Wo Bu Yuan Rang Ni Yi Ge Ren) by Mayday. I am a little bit lost focus to the scene when this song playing ^o^;

The main story about the cute couple was pretty good, although it started a bit oddly. The first few scenes as to how they met and how they grew up together was a bit off. However, the story started getting better after they went to college. Though the big transformation of the leading character was not well explained. So, overall, the love story was good and sweet. However, the rest wasn't. The rabbit thing was not well presented and it was only there to help the two characters have cute moments together.
So, six out of ten.

BAZINGA!
Well, first and foremost, I would just like to put it out there that this movie made me cry and touched my heart big time. For everyone’s information, I’m usually not the type whose emotions are easily swayed and influenced by movies actors and drama series, but this one just did that, and that I most certainly believe speaks volumes. After watching the movie’s clip on Facebook, I was instantly hooked so I decided to see the said film ASAP, without showing any form of mindfulness to the time as it was already the wee hours of the morning when that has occurred. Instead of succumbing to sleep, I took my sweet time watching it and doing reruns of my fave scenes. I really enjoyed the chemistry of the male and female leads.
I only wish that this was made into a drama instead of just a movie or maybe in the future they can make a drama out of this. Pretty please!? I believe there’s so much potential for the characters’ developments as well as the relationship of the two main leads. I want to see them starting on another chapter of their lives and having a baby. Also, I think the storyline of the other characters became more interesting in the end. The ending is definitely a cliff hanger. WE NEED MORE!!! Is that too much to ask?!?

Overall though, I like the story. You don't see male leads being the one pursuing the girl very often, so I appreciated that part.
I also loved Vivian Sung from Our Times, and was glad to see her on the screen again. I definitely want to see more from the male lead though.

The movie started off okay, with the typical setup: the male lead as a nerdy guy with braces, and the female lead as a bubbly, carefree soul. But then, they threw in this forced misunderstanding?, and I was like, really? Still, the humor kept me going.
However, things took a weird turn with the line, "As long as we're at China Eastern, you are my girlfriend." I was here for the romance, but it felt forced and awkward after that. The storyline lacked depth, and the character development was lacking.
There were no sparks between the leads, but I managed to finish it without feeling tortured.

maybe not...
watched this for song weilong but I really gotta say the plot is horrible and all over the place. I watched the entire movie at 1.5x speed and its only just bearable ... so many weird illogical moments but I guess that's how you make a typical rom-com. I do not recommend this movie at all please just go watch our times or something like that.acting is decent but maybe the male lead is a little inexperienced which is a given since he was only 17 then. I like the friendship and camaraderie scenes more, the annoying prof with the son is ???? the movie did not dive into that so i was just so confused with all the underlying problems, i mean if u wanna create a problematic character then like give us closure/explanation??
all in all, its a cute university love story ++ some friendship on the side but really i have never been this bored with a movie before haiz..

you have to re-watch this
Watch this to make a break from my binge watching drama. Song Wei Long is the reason I choose this movie. This one movie you have to re-watch again from the beginning after you finished watch this movie to tear down what your know from the start. After I've finished watch what Fang Yu Ke explained in his confession scene I re-watch this to get have new insight from Fang Yu Ke point of view.
At first I really think this movie good enough & quite romantic what our ML did in the name of love. But when I read bitchyleila's writing I thought that make sense: "In reality what the ML did kinda creepy but in the movie world I guess you'd find it endearing". Or maybe like Lily and Marshal said in How I met your mother, if you like them it became endearing if you don't like them it become creepy.
And like many people seen this movie I also though if only Senior Xiao Xi adding some action in the story it will gonna be a little bit juicier, but if that happen maybe this movie is have not enough duration because of all the complication. If this is a drama series, it's more likely to happen.
Overall this movie quite good to break down my binge watching drama ^_^. Oh and I really like the ending song Wo Bu Yuan Rang Ni Yi Ge Ren by Mayday

It falls short of being a standout in the genre.
"Love the Way You Are" takes you on a wild ride through the hilarious ups and downs of love and college life. This flick is like a mixed bag of emotions, and honestly, it's like your favorite comfort food - not perfect, but it hits the spot when you're in the mood.Picture this: Zhou Lin Lin and Fang Yu Ke, the cutest couple-to-be, start off in a quaint village. The opening scenes are like a quirky jigsaw puzzle, trying to piece together their unconventional love story. It's a bit like trying to ride a bike with square wheels at first, but fear not, the fun is just around the corner!
Fast forward to college, where animal husbandry is the name of the game. It's like 'Babe' meets 'Love Actually,' but with a Chinese rom-com twist. The character glow-up is real, but why Fang Yu Ke transformed so dramatically is a bit of a head-scratcher. Someone must have overlooked filling us in on the details of that transformation.
Now, let's talk about the lovey-dovey stuff. Zhou Lin Lin and Fang Yu Ke are like a bag of Skittles - sweet, colorful, and totally addictive. Their chemistry is like a perfectly mixed cocktail – a bit shaky at first, but once it settles, it's all sunshine and rainbows. However, the supporting characters add a dash of drama that's as predictable as your grandma's secret cookie recipe.
Cue the soundtrack! It's like a catchy playlist that got mixed up in someone's laundry. The songs are fun, but they don't always match the mood. It's like trying to salsa to a country beat – entertaining but a bit off-kilter.
As for the plot, it spills the beans in the first 10 minutes, making you wonder if you accidentally skipped to the end. The movie's pace is like a sprinting sloth – steady but not breaking any records. It's short and sweet, like a rom-com snack pack, but the trade-off is missing out on some tasty details.
The ending is like a surprise party - it ties up loose ends, but you can't shake the feeling that there could've been more balloons and confetti. The resolution is cute, but you might find yourself thinking, "That's it?" It's like finishing a puzzle and realizing a piece is missing.
The performances are like a box of assorted chocolates. The male lead is like the dependable milk chocolate – not too flashy but reliable. However, the female lead's dubbing is like biting into a truffle and finding it's filled with toothpaste. It's a letdown, but you persevere, pushing past the disappointment, just to savor the remaining sweetness of the treat.
"Love the Way You Are" is an okay watch. It's like a rom-com that's been reheated in the microwave – not as fresh as the first time, but it still hits the spot. So, grab some popcorn, brace yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions, and enjoy the ride! ??
