Do I need to say anything at all !! 100/10

What’s not to like about this show! Everything including the story, the characters, the dialogues is 10/10 .
I like to see characters having deep meaningful conversations, it’s important to understand what made them connect with each other (atleast for me) and the story unfolds every detail. Nothing was left unaddressed or incomplete. My heart was full at the end of the show.
Captain Ri and Yoon seri set such a high bar with their chemistry. I was rooting for them from the start. The 2nd lead couple had good chemistry too and their story was adorable even thou they couldn’t end up together.
It’s one of those rare shows where the story, the cast and the execution was all in right place. It had the right balance of comedy, drama, suspense and romance. I have already rewatched it 3 times and can’t seem to get bored if it.

TOTALLY WORTH WATCHING!!!

I highly recommend watching it!! It is that type of drama that you don't forget easily.
Amazing soundtrack, beautiful cast and chemistry really put it together.
I cried, laughed and felt what characters experienced.

It is a great story, not only about love but about finding yourself and accepting our vulnerability.
Also i loved to see friendship beteween Yoon Se Ri and 5th Company. They had amazing chemistry, a true friendship.

Memorable quote which changed my perspective on life.
"Sometimes the wrong train takes you to the right station. It was like that for me, too. Throughout my life, I always felt like I was on the wrong train. One time, I wanted to give up. I didn't want to go anywhere. So I thought of jumping off the train. Look where I am now. I took the wrong train again, and a very wrong one at that. Still, you should think about the future, even if things don't go as you wish. I hope you arrive at the right station, no matter which train you take."

My absolute favorite series ❤️

This series is the reason why I completely fell in love with Korean series and culture. I loved the story! I cried so much and, above all, laughed! This series is a touching and at the same time humorous story that makes your ❤️ flutter every time you look at Hyuan Bin and on the other hand makes you think a lot about the history of Korea. I'm happy to give this a 10/10 because I think everything is spot on. I'm sure this isn't the last time I've watched this series.

I read that there is a musical for the series and would be overjoyed if I could find a CD or DVD for it. If anyone knows anything, please send me a message. Thank you.

The best chemistry between leads!

The two leads had amazing chemistry, and I found out later that they got married in real life!! I loved all of the main and side characters. And the plot was very engaging and interesting. Such a good show, I would recommend! It was one of my first k-dramas I watched and after watching over 60 now, I still have it ranked very highly and recommend it.

Try not to have a crush on Hyun Bin!

Well how do i even start: me and my friends had a bet to start watching this drama together as its rating was too high, and we def did not regret it!!!

First thing it brought was the fresh plot and dialogue then came the sizzling chemistry between the leads. I also want to add that this drama made me laugh so much as well as be emotional for the most part of it.

It portrays reality in a very reasonable way, and thank you to the director for giving us a realistic ending even though i felt so bad for the second couple. It had been a while since I last enjoyed a romance drama but this just made me enjoy it so much!

Recently, I've felt myself going through the motions. Watching a title, checking it off my list and moving on. Dramas that used to take Hours to finish ended up taking me days. I had even started rewatching some old stuff just to fall in love with K-Dramas again.
I decided to watch this after hearing so much about it and let me tell you I was not disappointed. I laughed, I cried and I stayed up till 5am hoping to get to an episode that I feel can finally let me close my eyes. It explores the culture of North Korean which gave me a bit of Nostalgia from years ago when I started discovering Korean culture. Learning new things about Koreans, the way the speak and the way of life was always something I appreciated in Dramas.

This K-Drama Reminded me of why I started falling on love with them in the first place. They left no stone unturned and no unstaisfactory revenge arcs. It's Cliché but not so much that you know how it will end. Just enough for you to anitcipate it and get glued to your screen.
I can't say it's completely light-hearted but it sure did make me laugh. The comedic relief was added in just the right moment in just the right doses. I've given this a 9 because despite starting strong and staying interesting, it failed to completely entrhrall me till the very last second, it faltered just a bit when it came to closing out. That and I think So Dan and her lover deserved a better ending. Everyone survives the gunshot wound but HIM!!???

Either way I totally recommend this drama for beginners who want to fall in love and for Veterans who want to fall in love again.

Do we need another review for this? Pretty sure everyone agrees what a great show this is.

Story: Saying that the storyline is awesome is underrated. There is comedy, there is melodrama, there is thriller, pretty much the seasoning we need for a great drama. Then of course the unexpected twists in the plot to keep us on our toes (not literally).
Great cast? Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. So, yes. The rest of the casts are great too. But we always care for the leads, don't we?
Music? K-drama always have great music, so of course.
Rewatch? Of course, who can get over this drama? Even not rewatching this, my brain is on autoplay. Random scenes would pop up when I'm driving, showering, eating. Pretty much like how you'd think of your ex when you break up. This is real.

Wait, still not sure to watch this? Maybe you could try Goblin. That's another drama I had a hard time getting over, maybe I'm still not over it either. That one has people with superpower involve, so if you're more into that, then go ahead. Once you feel like watching mere mortals then you can come back to this drama.

THIS K-DRAMA HAD CHANGED THE GAME!

Crash Landing On You or #CLOY was my very first K-drama I watched after more than 10 years not being in touch with any kind of Asian dramas. Yes, I was a Hollywood's movies and shows-freak for so long.

On February this year, I decided to watch #CLOY because it kept showing for weeks on the trending bar on my Netflix. At that time, I was thinking: “Well, why not? Let’s give this one a try!” And surprisingly, that was the best decision ever! I really enjoyed the whole 16 episodes and finished the entire drama in 2 days! No sleep, for real!

All I can say is #CLOY is special! It really opened my eyes that K-drama is something I can’t miss in my movie journey. The casts, the story line, the OST, I ultimately love everything about this drama. The roller coaster of emotion in the drama really got me! I remember crying non-stop and then laughing out loud like crazy.

#CLOY is special. I really mean it. Because of this drama, I told myself to watch more K-dramas in the future.

And, yeah, I’m ready for my K-drama journey!

it’s been awhile

it’s been awhile since I’ve watched a kdrama that I loved as much as I loved CLOY. I laughed so hard through so many scenes and even cried in a few. There were so many lovable characters, they really nailed the casting. The OST was so heartfelt too. I adored the soldier posse, the village ajummas, and ML/FL romance. The sad-happy ending has left me with a lot of feelings to sort through. I’m not sure how I’ll get passed the ‘only 2 weeks a year’ deal or the death of the SL before their relationship could blossom… but of the many kdramas I’ve watched so far this has gone straight to the top of the list.

Absolutely perfect show, through and through.

What is there to say about Crash Landing that hasn't already been said? Amazing OST that will bring tears to your eyes just hearing it? Check. Interesting backdrop that provides compelling motivation for the leads? Check. Second lead syndrome so bad you will watch a whole other drama just to see the two second leads interact again? Check. Main lead chemistry so strong it quite literally launched their relationship? Also check.

Every bit of this show is dripping in love and attention. There are very few dramas where I will listen to every song in the OST after finishing, but CLOY is one of them. The only other one that comes to mind is Hotel Del Luna. The OST succeeds at pulling on all the right heartstrings to make you fall in love with the characters, or cry your eyes out when they are in pain.

Despite a lot of the clichés, like having met before and forgetting each other, somehow it works in this drama. I think the fact they only reveal the past meetings of Yoon Se-ri and Ri Jung-Hyuk after we have already fallen in love with them as a couple helps this fact. Often times, it feels like writers use the whole past lives or past meetings as a crutch to force the audience into rooting for a couple that may be lacking in chemistry. This is not the case here. You can feel the magnetism between the two main leads from the first few episodes, and it never lets up the entire show. The scenes between Yoon Se-ri and Ri Jung-Hyuk in the interrogation room with the NIS makes you heart ache, and you can see how both of them are so in love with each other that they are willing to inflict unimaginable pain on themselves just to help the other.

The supporting characters are also amazingly well-rounded. The second lead syndrome here is so real, i went and watched Dinner Mate afterwards just to catch another glimpse of the secondary couple. My one complaint is that the tragic ending for the second couple feels like it undercuts a bit of the message. Had they ended up together, it would have shown Seo-Dan that love that blooms naturally is better than trying to force it with someone who does not love you back, and Goo Seung-Jeun would have proven to himself that someone can indeed love him and he is not (at least not entirely) the bad person he makes himself out to be. Seo-Dan had an understanding of him that no one else did.

You find yourself rooting even for the background characters. Captain Ri's squad all have their unique personalities, from Sergeant Pyo's facade of cold uncaringness hiding his sensitive inner personality, to Private Tang's naivety and boyish wonder. Each is so unique, yet feels like they could be real friends if they did exist. The village also has a wonderfully petty but loving dynamic. They will fight over small things, like any small town, but when big issues arise (such as when State Security agents come to kidnap Manbok's family) they band together like family.

Speaking of the village, as a Korean, I love that the show didn't go all-in on the "DPRK is a crazy place, look at all these weird rules like mandatory hairstyles and obsession with the Dear Leader" narrative. They showed the country as you would expect to find in any other country that has been plagued by decades of poverty and war, slowly crumbling under the thumb of an oppressive state government. There is famine, plague, and all other problems you find in unstable, authoritarian regimes around the globe, but avoids any of the over-the-top characterizations of North Koreans as weird fanatics obsessed with their god emperor.

Overall, this show is a 10/10 in every regard. The OST will bring back memories no matter how many times you listen to it, you will find yourself rooting for the second couple just as hard as the main couple, and the chemistry between all four is off the charts. The show manages to strike a great balance between humorous moments and deeply sad or contemplative ones. I still go back and rewatch it now and again when I need a good cry or want to have my heartstrings pulled.

When I first read the synopsis for this drama I was intrigued, but I never imagined that it would exceed my expectations as much as it did. At the beginning, I did feel some reservations because the portrayal of North Korea was far from accurate. However I don't think it's fair to count that as any fault whatsoever as this is a work of fiction, and I actually feel like their portrayal of North Korea is quite similar to the what the leaders of North Korea try to portray NK as to the rest of the world. The story simply could not exist if they had painted North Korea in the reality that it is.
That being said, this drama is simply beautiful from start to finish. The main love story developed in a very real and honest way, and all the friendships that formed were so moving. I laughed, I cried, I fell asleep and dreamed of the characters. I can't wait to watch it all over again.

A "must watch" to everyone.

I mean we don't need too many words to explain why this kdrama is a "must watch kdrama" to everyone who loves Korean shows... It's simply a perfect , realistic, romance between a North Korean man and a South Korean woman who passed though so many things to be together... In my vision, this is the most realistic Kdrama I've seen so far. It's a perfect fiction of what a romance with such difficulties would look like. it's beautiful to see their love over coming every difficult.
I recommend it to everyone who's looking for the perfect Kdrama hahaha.
