So, I'll be honest here, I watched for Raymond Lam.. XD (Loved him in Moonlight Resonance, :3) And anyways... this drama was interesting to watch and see because it was different from the typical HK modern dramas or their historical ones. This had a supernatural twist to it, (which oddly reminded so much of Death Note haha, where the devil talks to the main guy and influences his choices.... LOL HE EVEN ("Satan") EATS AN APPLE LIKE RYUK XDD!!!) And the story started out great, intriguing, letting the viewers getting to know why the main guy did what he did. (Comparing to what Satan keep telling him and questioning him) This drama really questions the normal choices and things we do in daily life, even the small things like "why DID you open that door for the senior person even when you were in a hurry to go somewhere?" or "In a tight and packed bus, why DIDN'T you give up your sit for this pregnant lady?" And because our main guy's a doctor, he deals with even more complicated issues with patients and others and his family. So up to this point, the drama was pretty good.... till of course we began to see the "darker" side of human nature emerged in the main guy. As well as those troubles.... this romance that Satan had with a human being.... well, i thought it wasn't needed and all (felt kind of forced and very creepy) Like dude, it's suppose to be a melo-ish drama and supernatural elements and dealing with views on life/death, this "romance" (gee i felt bad) but i guess it was thrown in to make the entire feel lighter? (And show that "Satan" has a heart?....XD, lol i don't know about that apple eater)
Overall, good premise and outline for story, but in the middle started to deal with too many matters, and couldn't really wrap itself up properly (well, i thought so). The music is the typical eerie cool, dramatic at times, and the cast itself was alright ^_^ Recommended if you don't mind having Satan appearing as a human and hovering around everyone but only the main guy can see him (which is sort of depressing, makes him look crazy and all) and a mutli-plot of ideas, stories and people
