Reviews
Tenshu doesn’t know how much time has passed but one day a window opens in their room. On the other side of the glass is not the outside world, but a girl and there’s something strange about her.
The story plot is so well developed and so intriguing. Everything is explained and they don’t really leave you with any questions, at least until the end of the movie that is. After watching him survive his electrocution I was curious to find out what would happen next. There isn’t much experimentation going on though. It’s more like one large experiment. The scientists are observing the two death row survivors, just as the audience watching the movie is. We’re all eager to see what the outcome will be. If only one can survive, who will it be? And how can the survivor save the girl who has been possessed by a taint, an Isomer that is not of the human world?
It didn’t matter how interesting the plot was, the movie was very slow going. Honestly, I don’t think anyone will finish watching this because it is very slow. It almost feels as though nothing really happens within the two hours of watching it. Sure stuff goes on, you aren’t just watching the two inmates sit around, but it was slow paced. There were some cool fight scenes though.
It isn’t until near the end of the movie where the military actually tries to do something and even then they don’t do much. Honestly, it could have ended better. With the way it ended I feel like a sequel should have been made. Not because of unanswered questions, I didn’t have any except for what would happen next. But because I want to know what happened next and still do. It kills me that that it ended kind of badly
Music: It didn’t make any impression on me. Honestly, I don’t think there was any and if there was any it didn’t play often.
Cast/Acting: Hideo Sakaki played Tenshu and did a good job. It really seemed as if he was on the verge of insanity and his bursts of anger and violence were portrayed well. At times the majority of the cast didn’t really seem sincere but it wasn’t as if they were just reciting the lines back.
