A dejected ballerina attempts to take her own life when her hopes of performing Swan Lake are dashed after she sprains her ankle just before the opening night. Fortunately, she is saved by an eccentric young driver, who mistakes her for an alien from another planet and takes her home. He begins to care for her, and soon a bond develops between them.
