Worst FL
This could have been so good but the actions of the FL was one that struck a cord with every abandoned child and every single mom wanting support, demanding what’s right. For that reason alone, it was not the best. To make it worst, the writers want us to like and pity her. I just couldn’t.So what you’ll get here is a person who is giving an opportunity to tell the truth to the people that matter the most but she constantly ignores the request even though it’s hurting them. The sad part was that it was all spite.
I found it rather disturbing. FL was one of the most selfish, but the writers wanted her to be loveable! Nothing lovable about lying to your kid for over a decade and ignoring her feelings and hiding a child away from her father. It’s actually quite disturbing. The guy wasn’t abusive, dangerous or a threat in any way but she got in her feelings, disappeared and hurt/betrayed two people. If the writers made her remotely remorseful maybe it would’ve been better but she rode that lie until the very last few episodes even though her daughter was hurting. It’s actually pretty bad. Not cute.
Then she lets the kid misunderstand and blame the guy for abandoning her, like really. He had no idea she existed. The mom was awful.
So, was it love? Nope. It was Mrs selfish strikes again.

A frustrating watch.
Note: this is long but I have a lot to say. This series started out with so much potential but spiralled out of control and was ultimately a let down. I loved the beginning episodes where they introduce the 4 men into the FLs life and the mystery surrounding who the father of Ha Nee is. BUT there were a few things I found extremely annoying as the series progressed:
1. I wanted more on the love square - she didn’t seem interested in any of them she often would just stare at them when they were talking to her or interrupt them when they’re about to make some progress. In the scene where Dae-O protects Ha Nee and ends up in hospital Ae-Jong does not even ask about him when she wakes up. She asks about Ha Nee and hears about Dong Chan and Mr. Koo but then doesn’t even ask about Dae-O who ran into the building to protect her daughter.
2. They draggggedd out the father search, it should have been revealed much sooner because it was pretty obvious.
3. None of the misunderstandings were cleared up - she just kept letting her daughter believe the wrong things and hate the dad who actually had no idea that he had a daughter in the first place. They also never cleared things up to the public or between all the characters so nobody had the full story and they left Dae-O looking like the bad guy and nobody else took accountability for their part in everything.
4. They focused way too much on the past which made no sense because the main characters didn’t even have that great of a relationship to begin with. They just kept trying to remake the past, there was no focus on their current relationship.
5. NO ROMANTIC SCENES. we get a measly kiss in a hospital but that’s it, nothing more when they finally end up together.
6. We also see no family reuniting moments - I would’ve liked to see them move in together with Ha Nee and rekindle the relationship.
In general, they dragged out the end, they dragged out the father thing, they dragged out the misunderstandings instead of clearing it up and letting the characters start anew. I would not recommend watching this.

I should have dropped it
Another case of good start/promissing concept, but a very overly drawn out and boring ending.I started to watch this series because of Song Ji Hyo and because of the concept of young romance coming back in present day. I wasn't super into the whole solo mom of a child thing, but at first, it didn't bother me too much.
However, around a bit after the middle of the show, boy oh boy does it get way too dramatic, repetitive and the "ending" or conclusion of the whole "who's the father" thing drags for too long. The thing is, at that point, you pretty much know and don't care (not even sure I cared from the start tbh). The repetitiveness of major plot point over and over again made me think of old kdrama, without the little funny twists that would breaht life into them.
The only good thing that is worth while towards the second half is the secondary characters relationships, and even those don't really end up in an actual satisfactory way.
I did enjoy watching Song Ji Hyo and the 4 boys acting, but the children were not great, nor the stories related to them (except maybe the whole chinese mom thing). The first half of the show is actually quite enjoyable nonetheless and I both laugh out loud and cried at a few parts. It's not all bad, but I had the hardest time finishing it. At the very least, it reminded me yet again I can totally decide to drop dramas when watching them feels like a task.
And finally, I'm sorry, but wtf is this name, "Guido Orefice"

In My Top 10... Worst Kdramas of All Time.
This drama was a total slog and frustrating to watch. Basically every petty obnoxious romance trope is packed into one laborious story that is fills the viewer with frustration at every twist and turn of the trite, unoriginal plotline. You can put this drama squarely into the "why didn't they just talk to each other" category. Not just the main characters either, even the side characters. No one talks to anyone about anything relevant and it leads to mass confusion that is so lamentably avoidable you have to completely suspend your sense of logic and reality to believe any of the scenarios. What's even more difficult to swallow is how many times the different characters have the epiphany "maybe I should be honest and just talk it out" only to go back to hiding things two minutes later. Countless times they promise each other that they'll lean on each other and be transparent and supportive, but they never follow through. Because the drama repeats that miscommunication theme endlessly throughout every character and every moment of every episode, they spice things up at some point with a completely left field action kidnapping sequence. None of it made even an ounce of sense, they basically needed to implement a Deus Ex Machina scenario to get the leads to overcome their unwillingness to speak honestly.
In a normal Kdrama romance, you feel at least a little bit excited when the two leads finally get together. This drama didn't even give you the chance to be happy for them at any point because they are constantly messing things up for themselves the moment after they reconcile. By the end of the drama when (and this isn't a spoiler cause this is 99% of every romance kdrama ever) the leads finally get back together, it's brief and anti-climactic and you're annoyed with how idiotic the whole situation is.
It's pretty rare for me to end a drama, having gone through all the ups and downs, hating almost every single character...but this drama somehow managed to pull that off. The only characters I didn't hate at the end were the kids (because they're kids) the bar owner, and the mobster. Everyone else annoyed the crap out of me with their stupid choices and consistently illogical behavior.
This is one of the few dramas I regret wasting my time on. I would not rewatch it, I would not recommend it, it's very bad, watch literally anything else.

Interesting`
Well I have to admit when I started watching I was very interested especially about possibly learning more about single mother raising a child on her own. The flashbacks helped fill in some key points but basically 14 years later the same group of students basically managed to come together again. Unfortunately anything after this point basically goes south and I have no idea where the writer's minds went but it sure didn't answer what seriously felt like the plot. Who was the 14 year olds dad?I think all of the actors did well with what they had but the script was a shambles. Sort side when the supporting cast actually seemed more interesting than the main characters. Seriously no re-watch value here. Thank God it was a short drama.

Disappointing and predictable
Going into this drama I was both hopeful and excited. I thought it had an interesting start with the potentiel of being a great and unique drama. But in the end it just wasn't...
I thought it was refreshing to see a drama give it's female lead four different romantic possibilities. However it was very clear within the first couple of episodes who the fl would end up with, as well as who was the farther of her child. At first I was very excited whenever a new episode would come out, and yet I had to force myself through the later episodes. Overall I thought it was a very predictable and basic drama. It was descent but nothing more.

Watch it only if you have nothing better to do.
I watched this drama skipping half of the episodes, just because I decided to see how it ended. The FL is unbearable, the four men could have been interesting characters (especially the boss) if only they hadn't all been in love with her. The girl is very cute, even if at times I found her irritating too.A small note: the protagonist is glorified for having raised her daughter alone, when it is quite obvious that it is always the grandmother who takes care of her!
bad bad writing, insipid ending. The Cranberries' song "Dreams" on the soundtrack is wonderful and also its Korean version. The OST allows the drama to reach a passing grade

Starts out promising with gorgeous male cast but ultimately disappoints.
Overview: Ae-Jong is a single mom with a 14 year old daughter and big dreams of becoming a movie producer. One day she has the opportunity to make her dreams come true... while attracting the interest of four guys (three from her past and one new). Will she fall for any of them? And might one of them be the father of her daughter? Must watch to find outReactions: I initially found the female lead annoying — too helpless and over dramatic as a character, to the point where it is not clear why the male leads like her so much. I initially stuck with the show because the male leads and female supporting cast (especially daughter and her landlord/friend) really sold the show for me. The plot is light and moves along slowly, and there are many cliches but most of the characters were initially so fun to watch (eg., a fight scene between two men that devolves to hair pulling and wrestling made me laugh, and drama with the PTA at the daughters school) that I didn’t mind. However over time the lack of character development really became noticeable and I became frustrated because we never see enough positive interactions in the past to understand why any of the characters like the main female lead or to root for a relationship going forward. I stopped feeling invested in the story and couldn’t follow through to the end.

Reading the bad reviews ? Ignore the bad reviews and be rewarded
I think some other reviewer people who like explosions and robots gave bad reviews. I have never written a review this is the first for me, however this drama was the best ever. The acting was best ever and you will fall in love with all the actors if you pay attention to them. The thing I like best was the slow development of the story. I think others wanted it to develop in 2 seconds. See this drama do not skip a head and you too will find this is the beast ever drama. Reading the reviews I thought I would not like this drama. I have seen 300 or so k-dramas this one was the best ever. Was this review helpful to you?

Less is more
Let me just get straight to it. I would not recommend this drama. Yes, I have not finished it but I can say with confidence that this drama promised too much but did not deliver.Story: A single mother struggling to make ends meet suddenly finds herself in the midst of a love quadruple with 4 successful men three of which she has a history with. Similar to the classic movie Mamma mia, the plot essentially follows the same storyline. The story itself held a lot of potential. There were so many points to work on, however, it somehow still fell short. At one point I was confused at what the plot was even about anymore. I was expecting parent-child heartfelt scenes yet there was hardly any interaction between the mother and her daughter(which, I believe was essential). The chemistry between the protagonist and her child was just not enough.
Moving on to the romance part, which was even worse somehow. I could not understand why they had to dump in 4 men as love interests as 2 of them contribute to story in no way at all. They tried too much with too little. It was tiring seeing one misunderstanding being dragged on for hours and hours, testing my patience. This drama fell short on so many aspects, it honestly broke my heart to see it spiral down each episode. Sometimes less is more and I hope the producing cast learns from that.
Acting/cast: even though the story fell damp, I have to applaud the cast. They did extremely well, especially Uhm Chae Young and Son Ho Joon. Of course, other veteran actors like kim mi kyung did not go unnoticed, as always she delivered.
There were some scenes where the acting was cringy. and some where it felt forced but I loved watching uhm chae young in action. I'm looking forward to her future in the industry because I'm sure she has a lot of potential.
Music: The OSTs were good. A great soundtrack. The instrumentals improved the scenes by a tenfold.
Rewatch value: I don't think I will finish it let alone rewatch it.
Overall: In an increasingly changing and competitive industry, this drama will sadly not go down in history as one of the greats.

Well that was a bit disappointing. I was really excited for this title after watching the first episode, but the elements that were promising in the show did not live up to my expectations. First of all, the female lead was frustrating and very unlikable, so much so that I couldn't get around the fact that there were 4 potential love interests for her. They tried to paint the female lead as a superwoman, but she ended up consistently needing help, but still said she didn't need it after she received help from someone. The mother-daughter bond was not as heartwarming as I had expected, and I instead found it just a tad bit stiff. The whole misunderstanding was an understandable plot point, but grew to be extremely frustrating and I didn't even understand the reasoning for why Dae Oh left in the last episode. What makes you coming back after two years where you were missing any better? The ending was the most frustrating part of all, since they never even end up making the movie and Dae Oh never ends up directing. The show doesn't play up the dreams of producing and directing aspect enough and for the majority of the time you even forget that the point of the show is them trying to make a movie. Overall, I don't regret watching the show, but I did end up being disappointed by the execution. Was this review helpful to you?
