My honest opinion
Watching the entire season I could understand better why they reset tincan history, and honestly? I live for it.Because of Pete and Ae breakup we could pay attention to Can's insecurities about love relationships and about fall in love with someone with the possibility to get hurt like his friend. And got to see all the history of Tin it was so good, and more about his relationship with his family and the motives that shaped this arrogant personality of his. Overall it's a good season and people should watch. Some parts are really boring, like Ae's drinking and always thinking about Pete and nothing else, but if you discard some of this, will really like the second season.

Not all good not all bad
First the good, I know I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed watching a re-telling of the story. Perhaps because a love affair between two such different men is interesting to me. The childish, impulsive, fiercely loyal Can paired with the cool , calculating (almost cold) controlled Tin appeals to me. Probably because of the excellent job the led actors did in taking on the characters. They became Can and Tin instead of merely portraying them. This series is worth watching if for no other reason than seeing Plan and Mean work against each other. The chemistry is certainly there. This particular story is finished in this series but I'd like to see them together in other series . Another positive note was Meen's nasty big brother role. Yeah you really got to hate him. Stealing the show however was the bratty nephew whose name I can't locate. Cute kid, lots of talent. Finally Yacht's lovably annoying Pond is great.Another reason to watch is the sensitive and classy way the sex angle was handled. This is a story of college age young men, not children, so to pretend that they just sigh into each others eyes and hold hands is unrealistic.
The bad was pretty bad. Too many disjointed story lines shifting and jumping about. Perth's considerable talents are completely wasted. The secondary romances seemed to be cobbled together just to provide something to eat up air time. None of them are really interesting. But neither were they explored in any depth. It could have been so much better with a little effort.
Should the reader watch it. I think so. As flawed as it is, it does have some positive moments. Would I watch it again. Yes I will.

Perth Tanapon was the best actor of that bunch and Can was a pint-sized - though slightly dull-witted - knight in shining armor. Basically. What truly got me, though, was the TulHin pairing. Maybe because it came out of left field, totally out of nowhere, and stole my heart. Hin was so soft and kind and sweet and around him, Tul became a better man. Tul was a bastard. Don’t get me wrong, his terrible backstory explained his behavior, but even Hin who was head over heels for him found his actions inexcusable. And yet, he still couldn’t stop loving Tul...
So yeah, TulHin were THE pairing of this drama for me. Their dynamics, the fact that Hin never stopped calling Tul “Khun Tul”, it all fascinated me to me no end. And they were also very hot together.
TinCan was cute, I’m still mad that they didn’t bother to ask Saint to do at least a cameo and I didn’t care at all about the rest. Also, the product placements were downright ridiculous.

A chance to make things make things great... but ended ???
What I like:1. Musical scoring is ok.
2. Character development were ok, not the best, but ok.
3. Actors can act.
4. It is not like Oxygen. Thank the gods for not including flatness in this series. Though the main actors here seems to just act without trying their best, it is not flat as the main in O2. Also, the series did not include annoying side characters.
What I don't like:
1. Too many pairs. This series has a lot of couples but screen time for each secondary pairs were minimal.
2. No solid arcs for the secondary pairs. They are an afterthought.
3. The ending is just 'meh' for the main couple (Ending for me is EP 12). As for the other partners, since their story were not developed well, the resolution to their arcs were an after thought. And to think that each episode is 40-45 minutes on average is just sad. TH BLs need to re-school their script writing and story telling prowess to take advantage of their longer screen time.
3. The story really starts midway of this entire series. Might be due to the director's or the writer 's decision to tell this story in an alternate universe. But that cause them precious episodes and left them no room to develop arcs for secondary characters.
4. Too many flashbacks.
Now, these are purely my viewing experience watching this series. It might differ greatly from to yours. :)

Not impressed.
Awkward acting. Mediocre production. Bad storyline. But with cute scenes here and there. Basically I'm bored to the max. I just keep watching to complete what I've started.Nothing good to say. Moreover the series airing period overlapped with I Told Sunset About You. It makes me feel to compare the quality for both of the series even more. While ITSAY has only 5 episodes, they gave me Triple more satisfaction than what A chance to love provide.
Pity.. cuz actually I like what they have done on LBC. For this one, it a no go.

This was not good...
No chemistry with the leads- AT ALL. Every single interaction felt forced and uncomfortable to watch. All Ae did was mope around the ENTIRE season... like wtf is the point. I know Saint and Perth have their irl situation going on but they could have at least written a story for him.
I now understand why Perth and Mean won't be doing anymore bl- it's just not their thing and it shows.
The whole side story with Tin's brother was really unnecessary and too much time was wasted on his character.
The only people I enjoyed in this drama was Techno and Kla. The two actors who had the most chemistry and delivered their cringe lines the best pretty much had the least screen time- go figure.
I've been reading the comments and a 3rd season might be in the works and if that's the case I would only watch it with Techno and Kla as the mains otherwise- not interested.
If you watched the first season, do yourself a favor and just skip this one as it's really not worth it.

WASTED
Like almost everyone here, this was pretty disappointing to me. LBC was one of my favorite BL ever (and 90% of the reason was Perth and his amazing acting, coupled with his "best boyfriend ever" character). However, in Season 1, my least favorite characters were TinCan (i know I'm in the minority here, but Tin's acting was wooden and Can bordered on someone on the spectrum, no offense to those who are). So to have an entire season focus on them was a stretch for me from the beginning. But then to just repeat all the same scenes, sometimes LESS effectively was an entire waste of time. It's season TWO. The story progresses. Or don't call it Season 2. Call it Tin/Can: A New Beginning or something. And to play with the timeline and canon of the first season is just lazy, sloppy and amateur writing.
Overall, I felt like I was just re-watching Season 1 but with all of the good parts removed.
Another unpopular opinion of mine... I actually think both Tin & Can were better this season. What I liked LEAST about Tin was his stiff, wooden, pouty portrayal. He just could't pull off the tough guy. Even in Season 1, when he softened and showed his love for Can he got much better. So to have his character somewhat softer here actually worked for me. Then the second half of the season had him focusing on his brother and the horrible "I'm mad all the time" face came out again and I was done with Tin. Plan is the only actor who could play Can in my mind. And I think this role suits him perfectly. With any other actor he would have been too whiny, too childish, too foolish. Somehow, Plan makes him adorable, loveable, sweet, tender. But I don't think he has the acting chops to do much else. I've seen him in other roles and he's either doing a version of Can or just playing himself. (And in all the BTS footage he looks like he's miserable the entire time). He is obviously so uncomfortable in the kissing scenes that he should have asked to limit them to just one, or never accepted a role in a BL series.
This was an infuriating slap in the face to fans. The creators obviously think we're stupid and don't care about things like logic, physics, pre-established characters/roles/relationships/resolutions. Shame on them!
Worst of all, Perth is wasted. I feel bad for him personally. It looks like the break with Saint was quite devastating. Professionally, having to play such a limited character when we've seen him and the character do so much more. Thankfully, as an actor he can cry on cue and that was all he was asked to do here. I hope for so much better for him in the future.

tincan deserved better
Do not get me wrong, i love tincan--REALLY LOVE THEM. In fact, I enjoyed LBC1 solely because of TinCan, not that I do not love PeteAe's story but TinCan's dynamics was out there, their chemistry is oozing out from the screen. So, I was really excited for this season because im finally seeing tincan get their much deserved spotlight.I was deeply disappointed.
First, the story. Why did they retcon TinCan's story to them not seeing each other before? The ending of LBC1 was a perfect avenue to continue the development of Can's true feelings to Tin, it could have been a mature, tender story of accepting one's true love to someone regardless of their gender. It instead reverses back to square one and it became the cliche " i love him what do I do" series we have seen hundreds of times before. The story was dragged so much the first 4 or 5 episodes, literally nothing happens. I was ready to drop this series altogether if not for TinCans story, which should be the main focus, but the script dwindles from Ae's heartbreak to other unnecessary subplots.
The new characters are, dare I'll say it, worthless to say the least. They add NOTHING to the story but only to carry the story further into new episodes. I only remember one character who is at least important which is Gonhin which is Tul's love interest. Heck even their story is unpolished and underdeveloped as hell as they only told their full story at literally the last episode. I could've enjoyed Gonhin and Tul's story more if it was fleshed out more, like told them at parts scattered throughout the episode, they instead dragged TinCan's boring storyline and Ae's longing for pete. They set aside Sammy and yacht's character as if they weren't even there in the first place and instead focused on the new characters.
Ae's story in here is tender but can be removed altogether in the rest of the series. I get that we needed at least some closure on why pete is not there, but they again dragged it to the limit. Ae's story can be told for one episode only, but I feel like for the sake of the fans, they streched it far too long. They even had a surprise at the ending which confused me instead of exciting me.
As for the acting, it's all right. Mean as Tin is really meant for each other, and his acting significatly improved from the first season. Plan as Can is ok too, if you are not familiar at his antics then you will be annoyed at him, but as a fan like me, it was good. Ae is meh, he is always sad at the entirety of the series, no character development at all which did not do justice at Perth's acting prowess. Tul needs more acting workshops as his delivery of lines at the emotional moments are a hit and miss. Gonhin is good however, giving his role justice.
I expected a lot from this series that's probably why I was really let down by the end. TinCan's story has nuance on the first season and they completely destroyed it here. I wish they just continued their story from s1 which for me can lead to a much better series.
I know wabi sabi can do a lot better than this. I am not mad at the characters or the production company at all, I was just deeply dissappointed.
If there truly is a season 3, i wish they could save this season. Or if not, end the season from here.

Great and sweet bl , HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
A chance to love was a great show for me. If you see as an individual show rather than a sequel then it comes out to be in the list of top 10 bl shows. As it was pg15, the story was not intense but rather family dramatic. But there are many sweet moments that make your heart flutters and the chemistry is just awesome.I feel that it was a good decision by the writers to show another version of tin can story rather than continuing with the prequal because let's be honest their ending in that show was too painful to start a new show with. As the denial of confession was shown again after building their relationship from start, you feel less hurt and stay with the story. You get connected with the story more. I liked techno and kengkla story as well. The issue which a lot of people had about their story in the prequel was well addressed and their story was also cute.
The plot was dramatic but i think because of this we saw really raw sides of tin and can. I swear I cried with tin when he cried in the shower (PS SPOILER ALERT he didn't cry because of can). So at the end, the story did justice for me.
Overall this show was very soothing and loving for me. It gave me a source of comfort and made my heart warm
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ATLEAST TRY AND I AM SURE YOU WON"T REGRET

What a mess.
Ok, so I'm not gonna lie. I wasn't a fan of this one.Update: apparently these fuckers bullied Cooheart because he is part of the LGBTQIA+ community. This took 30% off the rating, because we don't stan bullies in this household.

### Characters
There was, first of all, just something off with the chemistry of the main couple. We know the have chemistry in real life, so maybe it was just the acting that wasn't there, but it didn't feel right.
The secondary couple had waaaay better chemistry, which is why I would've wished for more screen time with them. TulHin is a couple I'd definitely watch a series about, especially with those actors.
KlaNo was barf tbh. The guy who plays No has, in my humble opinion, no real acting talent, completely wasting the talent Kla's actor has. The chemistry was also barely noticeable.
And then we have our poor poor Ae... His story was, in the very beginning, pretty touching and sometimes funny. However, it never evolved and got extremely boring.
Ae's friends were the ones that made things interesting, yet they barely had any screen time.
### Scenes
Let's start with the spicy shit. The kissing scenes were awkward, and the acting was mediocre at best. I don't know what it is with Plan and kissing, but it just doesn't work.
We never had a full on spicy scene, and I'm disappointed, but not mad. I'm gonna be honest here: Plan couldn't have pulled it off. Mean maybe, but not Plan. Now, if we would've had a spice TulHin scene, I'd be all for it, but that didn't happen either.
Bad choices were made in the scene-planning and screen time dividing.
### Story
Let's start with the beginning: there are so many side characters with under-developed story lines, it hurts.
The main couple's story was okay, but not anything to write home about. The first half of the series was a repeat of season one, only with bad acting. The second half was just meh.
The second couple's story was good, but had too little scenes. (as you can tell I'm a TulHin fan)
KlaNo's story was a little interesting, with No being not too sure about his feelings, but it was dragged out for too long and No's acting is still a no for me. Also, Kla being a little puppy, running around after his Big Time Crush is kinda weird and off-putting.
I don't even want to begin about the random shit with TumTar... I am confusion. In the first season they were so in love, with Tar having trauma and Tum not knowing what to do. Yet, in ss2, it's as if they've always been just brothers. Tum is even encouraged to persue another dude, and he does it?! This would've been such a good story line, yet they just completely threw it out of the window.
The random new characters didn't get a story at all. They were just placed there as decoration I guess.
All in all, this ain't it chief

Left a lot to be desired
Ok there’s a lot to unpack so let’s not waste anytime,-wtf, the timeline so was messed up. I have no idea why they decided to reset TinCans timeline. I didn’t need a 6 episode recap on things I already knew. It was boring and felt like a cop out because they didn’t know how to continue.
-NoKla, Marks acting was really good, but this couple is kinda awkward and their character development was super poor. But I don’t blame the actors, NoKla got a crisp 14 minutes of screen time. This pairing felt unnecessary and I usually skip their scenes cause they are kinda awkward to watch.
-I honestly have no clue why Perth or correction Ae had such a large role in this series if all he was going to do was cry for 5 episodes. On the other hand PERTHS ACTING WAS INCREDIBLE(I cried a lot). But he was a very mid character no strong feelings towards Perth or the character; but his moping got old after awhile.
-TulHin, ok unpopular opinion-they were so cute and I loved them….but they were SUPER unnecessary and the acting was okay at best(they are both new to acting so I’ll give them that). This couple kinda felt like an excuse to why Tul was so mean but it was unneeded. They just kinda felt like a needle in the hack sack after the fifth couple was introduced.
-ok TumTar, glad they could tie up some loose ends from TharnType and the first season, the whole stepbrothers thing made be super uncomfortable so I usually skip their scenes but I’m glad they didn’t make that final. They just acknowledged it for 11 episodes then chose to ignore it.
-why the heck did they introduce so many new characters, like I kid you not by the end I think we ended with 5 solely BL couples. And I love BL as much as the next but some variety is needed after side couple 2.
-Characters got lost and I’m so sad, Tin was such a powerful character but the second season due to laziness by production and writers his character felt lost and like a completely different person. Same thing I felt with Lemon she was originally like a bubbly and mildly obsessed BL fan(I think we can all relate) who was trying to play Cupid in the first season.(speaking of which I have no clue was Ae never corrected her in either seasons, they felt out of character too) but in the second season she was obsessed with this idea of a perfect match for Tin which was the “opposite” of Can, and it got annoying very quickly like her character would not shut up about it, her character was disappointingly changed from bubbly to obnoxious very quickly. Moving on to new characters, Tins Dads character was VERY bland and he felt like a push over, Sammy and Yahts characters were only there for product placement scenes and that annoyed the heck out of me.
-TO MUCH PRODUCT PLACEMENT, I GET IT NOW PLEASE MOVE ON IT WAS SO SO SO ANNOYING.
In conclusion this season left a whole lot to be desired and left most fans feeling dissatisfied. This show felt lazy and not thought out well and I wish MAME will do better to continue shows better in the future.(ps. If Between us is bad I might cry)

HOW DID THE PROGRAM/CHANNEL EXECUTIVES PASS THIS?!
I honestly have no clue how this got a nod to go on floor and be released. This makes absolutely no sense. There are soooooo many problems in this show. Unlike many viewers....the retelling of the story from season 1 was the least of my concern.......however this season had other alarmingly glaring issues. Spoilers ahead !!1) Absolutely Unacceptable trope: This show was released in 2020. And yet so many tropes used in this series are not only outdated but so problematic. Gone are the days when BL shows could present story lines with icky unacceptable developments and sell it as if it’s nothing. I truly expect better not only from the makers but this industry in general. Techno and Kengkla story made me so uncomfortable in the first season. But what frustrated me even more was the way this season tried to shoehorn them in the box of a cute couple who are trying to bypass a minuscule issue. Oh and that issue is RAPE. What the hell! They not only toned down the seriousness of this issue but also failed to depict how uncomfortable or hurt Techno was (because he clearly was). But not to worry......relentlessly being pursued by Kengkla made him forget everything (face palm).
2) No Room for Consent: Why did consent mean squat in this show? Why!? I fail to understand this!! Tin-Can were a very awkward couple...and this is the nicest thing I can say about them. Random kisses by Tin to Can even when they were not a couple or had any romantic development WHATSOEVER was so frustrating to watch. And no this isn't cute by any means. These characters had no understanding of boundaries or personal space.
3) Gaslighting Galore: The way the makers handled Tin's family story reminded me of all the red flags psychologists warn about. There is no simple way to put it....the brother was a douche-bag of the first order. Yes he also suffered as a child but what he did to Tin by no means is or should be acceptable. When the father was confronted about all the wrongdoings done to Tin, he started giving explanation about how hard it was for Tul, I know I’m a failed father, but you had better than all of us…. so try and understand our perspective because you're a nice boy at the end of the day. Brilliant class on gaslighting. And it worked.....Tin forgave his horrible brother and moved on as if nothing ever happened. Somehow for a change I was on Can's side (usually his over enthusiasm got on my nerves) ....his hesitance to forgive Tul was justified. And what was the whole thing about Tul and the father being mean to Tin because they wanted him to have freedom and no responsibility unlike them. That was some BULL S*&$. The boy only wanted some love, respect and understanding. These guys were mentally 2 years old. Even kids handle relationships better than them. Jeez.
4) Yawn Couple: Pete and Ae were good in season 1. They were the star couple. But what was the need to bring them back in this season. Ae’s sole job in this season was to mope around and be sad. What a waste. The makers did not do any justice in telling their story. Their story was used as filler in every episode. The makers presented half baked reasons for their break up which I was honestly not convinced about and presented unnecessary flashbacks. Focus on Ae diverted the attention from Tin and Can which they definitely needed. Showing the progress in their relationship was important which was eventually done very shabbily.
5) Couples, Couples & More Couples: This is one of my major issues with many mainstream Thai BL shows. What is the need to have 4 couples in a series with hardly 12 episodes with a running time of 35-40 minutes? It makes no sense. Rather than focusing on 1 or max 2 couples and polishing their story line, they divided their attention on 4 couples with neither of them leaving any impression on the audience. This is a very unique technique in expanding the BL universe as the couple that clicks with the audience ends up becoming the main couple in the next season or they branch off as a separate show. The creative dedication in writing meaningful genuine scripts with thoughtful dialogues and inspiring romances is absolutely absent. The audiences do not need multiple couples at a time, all they want is one good couple with a memorable story.
This show is a disaster from top to bottom. The only good thing about it is the production value because anyway Thai shows end up getting hefty sponsors. The direction was amateur, the script/storyline was a mixture of outdated and uninspiring tropes/clichés, and the acting was simply bad. The saving grace was Lemon Can’s sister (she was very adorable) and Tin’s dad who was refreshingly progressive for accepting both his sons being in gay relationships.
