Not just a Girls love story.
There are shows which need tons of episodes to tell a story and then there are shows which need only minutes. This one falls in the latter category. There are LGBTQ shows mostly BLs where we have guys falling for eachother more precisely being 'gay for you' with rainbows in the background, sun and stars shining bright, shippers in the show barfing confetti and darn near entire world (barring the proverbial evil 'female gender' being villanious) playing cheerleaders.
Then there are shows where everything is dark, gloomy, depressing, hopeless and yes .. just bury your gays coz that's how it rolls.
In between the two extremes there is this lovely little masterpiece which tells a sweet story without erasing the sadness and hopeless that the community faces. Yet gives out one of the most powerful emotion of the human world.
Hope!
Yes.. life sucks but here is hoping to a happy life.
And the most poignant message that we need to tattoo in our lives.. Yeah maybe world will not accept me... But I am going to accept myself. I choose to be Me.
The story is too short but i thought that is the whole charm of it. The actresses are lovely to look at. And did a great job in bringing the characters alive. Especially Min Seo. She expresses so much with just her face that dialogues become redundant. The pain seeps through the smiles. Tremendous acting.
The chemistry is adorable.
And the skinship.. toecurling.
Story.. Melts you heart, then breaks it and then makes it whole again and let it soar.
Special mention to the friend. She is one wonderful character.
This is not just a girls love story. This is a story of choosing to be who you are and choosing to be with the one who will let you be. That is.. a human who should live and love the way others do. Freely!

Cute roller coaster ride in less than en houer...
This drama or short web series or well whatever you may call it has the sweetest couple making me smile from ear to ear when i see them interact. But it would not be drama without trouble so in a short period of time these gals take us on a little roller coaster ride giving viewers a small glimpse in to some of the thoughts one may have when trying to decide on what life one wants to live and how openly out one may want be.The couple is a tag awkward at times bubbly in other situations one of the gals is really honest and a tad impulsive but both are lovable, and so is the side character it is kind of hard to think that most of it is filmed in a small apartment but while the environment may not be that exciting the girls personality males up for it.
I chose to rate this a 9,5 for the content, the chemistry, the sweetness bearing in mind that this is a short low budget production so do not expect miracles but I do recommend people to watch it, is is short enough and available on You Tube so honestly there should not be a reason not to unless it is gone again, and hard to find... so I guess I am telling you make sure to watch it before it disappears here is where:

Coming out can be hard to do.
Poor Yu Bin just can't catch a break. I don't know if this is meant to be the same Yu Bin as from "She Makes My Heart Flutter", but she is played by the same actor, which makes it true in my heart! For a short form piece of media, the progression of the plot and character dynamics really doesn't feel rushed at all. Rather than explicitly being a fluffy romance story, the narrative does a fantastic job of unpacking queer issues in a sympathetic way (that is never preachy!) with characters who aren't unreasonably mean just to create drama for the audience. There are no antagonists here, only humans trying their best to cope within a society that still judges them for existing.
It is so refreshingly nice to see queer people understanding each other's struggles and not punching down when they feel hurt. No one ever said that a breakup had to come with hatred for your partner, and this series goes out of its way to be so thoughtful and kind about it. The writing does such a good job of normalizing not vilifying someone for not yet feeling safe or comfortable enough to come out in public, or for not being comfortable hiding for the sake of their partner.
Finding someone who is at the same stage of life as you and has the same needs in a relationship is so important and so good. Never compromise someone else's safety or comfort for your own. Whatever life may bring, however you choose to live it, what matters most is that you like the way you're living right now.

Love is always beautiful
Well, i am a man and i like women. This is my line of thought and feel… If i said something wrong, please excuse me and enlight me!I know what is to be in love and desiring to spend all the moments with someone and even shout (if a person wants) to the world my happiness and love. I cannot imagine the difficulty that lesbians have to deal just to be themselves and express their love. Therefore, i am very happy with this show.
I can relate with most of the feelings, the doubts that they have. I cannot relate or feel (since understanding is a mental thing) the problems that exists in their relationship that i do not have. I have other problems and difficulty, but that does not matter to society and people around us. Much easier for me, unfortunately.
STORY - i really like the story. In the beginning, I was confused (maybe because of subtitles). I thought Ha Eun broke-up with her girlfriend, then I realise it was not and everything made sense.
It also seemed that Ha Eun’s best friend, Yu Bin, loves her. Maybe I am wrong… Even so, I loved the relation between them. Having such a good friend is a beautiful and empowered thing.
Love the bucket list, wish I could see Min Seo’s list as well (I am sure drinking alcohol in some bar was there!).
Loved the ending. I am positive that Ha Eun’s list will be dramatically different!
CAST / ACTING – I think they made a wonderful job! Do not know if they are lesbians (since I think saw them in more LGBTQ+ dramas), but that does not matter. There relation is fluffy and mature, with a beautiful beginning. I think they are good actors.
MUSIC – did not pay attention so I really do not know.
REWATCH – well… I am a teacher. I wish I could watch with my students, even if it is a tough decision because, of course, polemic society and parents. In addition, I am afraid of discussing a theme where I am not very familiar and even ignorant. I do not feel the society pressure, but I have friends that do. If someone wants to help or give me advises I appreciate.
Certainly will watch it if I have the chance. It is beautiful, short and it made me feel happy.
OVERALL – short, beautiful, love the chronology, the production. If you like a beautiful story of love you should watch it too.

A sweet and intelligent little mini drama well worth watching
Ever since I first watched "She Makes My Heart Flutter" I've been a big "Soo not Sue" fan and this, their debut series to my knowledge, did not disappoint. It's a short and sweet slice-of-life romance but it's also so much more than that. It's a show made by queer people for queer people and as such tackles topics that normally wouldn't be addressed in shows like this, or at least not in this way.
Out of Breath is heavily themed around the difficulties of not just coming out to a close circle of friends and loved ones, but to then actually live openly, deliberately and publicly out of the closet.
And it does this from a perspective I've personally never gotten to see before. It explores the struggles of someone who, while generally always having been open to the idea of being out publicly, was in a very secretive relationship for years and now has to navigate a new romance with someone who blatantly refuses to hide their orientation or their relationships.
It's a story about unlearning shame and fear which is often a slow and agonising process which is all too familiar to many a queer person.
So if you're in the market for something light and easy to watch which nonetheless tells an authentic queer story with real sensitivity and intelligence, then this show is for you.
