The story itself seems like a good idea and had been done correctly could have been a creepy story. But ... this is probably one of the most stupid movies I have watched lately and honestly doesn't make any sense. They threw in a lot of things that could have been cut to actually explain why and how all this happened in the first place. I felt absolutely zero connection to any characters. This movie is over a hour and I couldn't even start to tell you any character's name. The two best friends seem close, that's about all I can make sense of.
The "horror" part of the move is laughable. the "stabbing" sounds literally just sound like someone getting hit with a sack of quarters. There were no twists. No turns. No build up. What has this been doing for a hour? X_X I couldn't tell ya. Nothing makes sense.
I get it's supposed to be "urban legend" kinda thing, but even those have a story. Those have a REASON. Those come to you, show up, or you go to them because of some *set* reason (I mean, unless you're the slit mouth woman, then I can see how you just stumble upon her, but even then, there is a story/her story) so you see what I'm getting at, hopefully.
And y'all I'm sorry but the running.... the running had my cry laughing. It reminds me of vines I used to watch of people being dumb for fun. Lol I'm sorry. This just wasn't my thing. This wasn't horror to me.
I wish and I hope someone redoes this movie though because the story itself does have potential to be something if done right.
