Another Nostalgic Blast From The Past
When I say I have searched high and low for this movie for YEARS, I’m not exaggerating. I watched this in either 2013 or 2014 and I’m not good at remembering movie names so all I could remember were parts of the plot. This movie, after The Suspicious Housekeeper, set me on my k-drama journey. This drama has stuck in my mind because of the (explicit for it’s time) r*pe scene. It wasn’t implied like the scenes I’d seen in k-drama rom-coms up to that point, it was brutal. There’s also this one scene with the umbrella after the child versions had been kidnapped and that scene will stay forever in my memory. It’s what lead me to finally find this series again after all these years. It is a product of its time. I remember the picture quality being smoother/crisper (which is to be expected), this makes it harder to watch and gain the full quality this many years later but the heart of the story is still very compelling.

The story is a little bit strong, mostly at the beginning. That is not the usual drama with the funny girl and the two boys. Here the girl is not funny at all (but she have a really great style, I envied all her wardrobe for the entire drama, and she is beautiful even when she cries - namely for mostly the entire drama!)
Park YooChun is really good at acting even if his carrer started as a singer, I've seen only this drama with him, so I was really surprised!
By the way the story is a little bit dark, but if you are able to overcame the first part of the drama you will become addicted! I swear! :)

This drama has been AMAZING! It's a proper tear-jerker so if that is not your style, watch it either ways :D The drama, so far, has had the ability to introduce comedy into a sorrowful situation turning the events bittersweet.
I've laughed so hard at the 'bromance' between Jung Woo and his colleague. Guaranteed that the first 4 episodes are mostly grief-stricken but there is laughter, love and sweetness.
The main lead actors portray their younger characters really well that you would notice the subtle body languages as the episodes progress.
My favourite character Is Jung Woo's Hyung/ detective partner. He is so cute and lightens the drama.
The love story is spell binding between the trio at the start: Lee Soo-Yeon [Yoon Eun-Hye],Jung Woo [Park Yoo-Chun] and Kang Hyung-Joon[Yoo Seung-Ho].
OST: Lovely! Tears are falling by WAX
As much as I want the second lead, Kang Hyung-Joon, to get the girl in KDrama land that's never going to happen :(
The performance of all the actors in the drama is excellent. I wouldn't give this drama anything less than a 10 for now!
I can't wait for next weeks episodes.

two dramas in one
I'm quite taken aback by this drama... something is definitely wrong here. First, there are WAY too many coincidences for it to be taken seriously, though it acts like a "realistic" story. Second, we get TWO stories in one - by episode 5, we have a young cast, after that, all actors are replaced by the "mature" characters and contemporary actions. The first part is dark, the second part suddenly throws humour in; the victims unexpectedly turn into successful career people. What characters and stories should we develop a connection with? Also, i find it hard to digest the catastrophic life accidents of our leads - abuse, beating, bullying, rape, kidnapping, imprisonment, lies, death, execution, trauma, hidden identity, secret siblings etc etc. Can we please make this more like normal everyday life?
A lot of flashbacks too... Same scenes and lines are drilled into us over and over. Are you trying to brainwash us or what?
It's more like a lakorn, and pretty long at that, with 21 (!) episodes while my patience is already being tested.
It could've been way better.

I'd advise this drama for you who like romance, action and crime at the same time ^_^

Story
Ceritanya berputar-putar di antara Han Jung-woo, Lee Soo-yeon, dan Kang Hyeong-jun. Iya, dan akar masalahnya cuman karena uang. Sepele banget nggak sih? Hahaha
Acting/Cast
Aku pengin ngasih jempol untuk semua pemain I Miss You!! Keren sekali mereka actingnya. Acting sedih dapet, acting romantis dapet, chemistry antar pemain juga terasa sekali feelnya. Terkadang aku pengin gebukin Jun a.k.a Harry, tapi di lain waktu aku pengin puk-puk-in dia, karena kasihan. Yoon Eun-hye nya cantik sekaliii.

About the parts I didn't like.....
Not only that the beginning was sad and really emotional, but in most of the episodes, at least 4 times, the two main characters cried. I understand, it is a drama, it is normal for them to cry a lot, but it is not normal to cry a million times in each and one episode. Seriously now, after watching an episode, I felt so sad and depressed, it made me feel weird and I didn't like that. I usually watch K-dramas to feel somehow better, not to get depressed.
The story itself was kind of weird, it started with abuse and with emotional scenes that made me not want to continue watching. But I didn't give up, and I kept watching even through I hated it, I didn't want to start a new episode, I was searching for something to do instead of watching it.
I personally don't recommend watching this drama, only if you want to get upset and depressed.
