Instead, I fell into a hole of a cute and quirky drama about two motivated career driven people who reunited after a few decades of being separated as children, falling in love with one another, and learning what is more important in their lives - each other, or their careers. (The answer is one another). And that is basically what this series was about. It was a lot of fluff, but for the first time I was okay with it. It was fun watching them fall in love while helping motivate one another pursue their lifelong dreams - Cong Rong wanting to be like her father, a lawyer, and help defend people who couldn't, and Shao Qing a successful surgeon, saving people's lives.
I loved the writing as every character was motivated by their professions, but even more passionate about their friendships (to a point where I was confused about their working hours as they kind of left whenever they wanted) and were all just extremely clever at cracking joke and being sassy. Especially, Shao Qing and his quick tongue and his sexual humor and turnaround time making us feel like we had the dirty mind. Honestly, he was not my type, until half way through when he just started teasing and romancing Cong Rong, he became my type.
It was also interesting how this series went back and forth - it seemed like there was more of a drama story with Cheng Cheng and Wen Rang where I thought they were the mains. And I would watch it.. when they were on good terms, it was swoony... but when they were on bad terms...I would get emotional.
Overall, I wish I could express how much loved this drama and given it an easy 10/10, but as I was thinking about it, this was all really well done fluff. It was extremely good, but there was no reason why this had to be 28 episodes. It got to a point where, I loved watching their journey, but there really wasn't much of a plot to want to binge it. Yes, they pulled on all our heart strings as Shao Qing was SUCH A ROMANTIC, but there really wasn't a solid plot. They attempted to add a second love interest, Lawyer Shangguan Yi, but it got to a point where we fell in LOVE with him, but he had ZERO chance of winning Cong Rong and it made me feel extremely bad for this dude. Plus, I also felt bad for Zhong Zhen who became this unnecessary comedic relief who always showed up at the wrong time, and would get playfully scolded by the two mains. And it got to a point, where I felt a little uneasy... even knowing that it was supposed to be playful and helping him grow into a better person and doctor.
I convinced myself, that this was an example of many smaller plots in a drama as the high up plot, was Cong Rong acing her internship and getting a job (which happened in the early middle) and Cong Rong & Shao Qing reuniting as lovers (which also happened in the early middle when she got her job). Everything after, I believe, is every drama watcher's desire of finding out what happened after they got together and fell in love... like a part two or epilogue. As for me... I like a good epilogue, but not all the time. I fell off a little when Cong Rong got her new job as she was just fantastic and the fluff of their relationship began and then we got to see the ups and downs of Cheng Cheng and Wen Rang's relationship that could have happened in unison with Cong Rong & Shai Qing's as most dramas do, but no. Then it all came together at the end, and I sobbed from happiness as well as from the credit scene at the end. Besides the little things, for a fluff piece, this was very well done and I enjoyed myself for the most part :)
Completely recommend if you want something light and romantic.

Very Sweet and Cute!
Enjoyed this drama, it was cute and sweet, and had me smiling while watching. I enjoyed the lead characters, the friends, family and all of the different relationships. I liked the whole story line with very little drama between the main couple. I liked how they meet when they were kids and then again as adults. The ending had me smiling and laughing very happy with the ending! If you are looking for a sweet drama that is cute and isn't big on causing major drama between the main couple then I suggest looking into this.

Charming, Fun, Just enough DRAMA and totally REWATCHABLE! :)
Just my cup of tea! I've already re-watched this show a few times - and I couldn't wait for each episode while watching it the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed My Little Happiness, the storyline, the cinematography, the excellent production and the beautiful OST. The main leads were terrific! Daddi Tang as Wen Shao Qing and Fair Xing as Cong Rong are ADORABLE together as the main couple. Never knew Daddi Tang could play someone so romantic! I saw him in Put Your Head On My Shoulder and he played a funny jock/nerd type expertly, but he is so WONDERFUL as Wen Shao Qing! Very versatile actor! Fair Xing is so feisty, strong and determined, but not mean, and not even an ounce of "fluff" or any of that nonsense about her. The entire cast of this romantic comedy is so great. Each actor portrays their characters so effectively, making their characters really interesting and causing you to want to get to know more about them as the show goes on. For me, there wasn't anywhere that this show dragged. Each episode had something really "watchable" about it. The second couple, their relationship, was well fleshed-out and understandable, very reasonable and relatable. I highly admire the entire cast. This has already become one of my very favorite "go-to" shows, especially during these difficult times were living in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Was this review helpful to you?
Superb
If you like romantic dramas, then you definitely have to watch this!It has all the elements of a beautiful romantic drama. Nice backstory, light, humorous, great characters, not overly dramatic, no annoying 3rd parties, not draggy and lots and lots of sweet moments that you’ll probably end up with diabetes. Hahaha!
I’m so in love with Dr. Wen...
The only downside for me is, 28 episodes are way too short. Please, we need Part 2 and a separate drama for Wen Rang and Zhou Cheng Cheng!!!

Living Off This Kind of Fluff
My first c-drama and I was completely blown away! This has got to be the cutest couple I've watched ...all the romantic scenes were so magical. I was like awwwwwing every episode and just blushing like a fool. The story was so well paced, nothing rushed and incredibly developed so that you have a 1000000% binge-worthiness without feeling the need to skip any parts.
I loved so many things!
that height difference was so freaking cute
FL was badass and independent
the perfect balance of vulnerability and roguishness in the ML
realistic misunderstandings - I was like 'same...I am also so stupid and petty' - that were then quickly resolved
*sigh* Daddi Tang (marry me already)
THE SECOND LEAD COUPLE! These guys were phenomenal!
Okay C-Drama...I am in. I am pulling up a chair and settling in ....

This is not what I expected, I thought this was a series that I might watch while I was doing other things. In other words, a boring series. But I was wrong! I end up finishing up this series within a day or two. What I like about the series:
The fluff, this was the cutest light romance I’ve seen in a while. It was a bit awkward with how quickly the ML fell for the FL but I think that is where the story gets interesting. I love how it creates the storyline of ML chasing after the FL, lots of charming, teasing, and great kissing scenes with fluttering hearts.
The cast and character. Xiao Tian does a great job on his character here. I’ve seen him in a lot of support roles and I’m glad to see him doing a main role and damn well good job at it! This is my first drama of Xing Fei and I like her character. She is not like most annoying, trying to act cute and innocent FL. She is a hardworking lawyer who trying to do a great job at being a lawyer.
Did I mention the chemistry between the leads?!? I also love that they had this mature understanding of each other. I often thought a lot about when the natural disaster happened, and they were separated for a while. Just the thought of missing each other and just lingering feeling of wanting to see each other.
The bad:
I didn’t like the second lead, which is funny because usually I adore the main cast or the second lead. Occasionally even both but this time it was the opposite. I just found their characters to be SUPER annoying mainly because they felt like this young bickering couple. For an old man, he was very annoying...handsome annoying old man
Re-watch value: I definitely can see myself watching this again!

Relaxing watch
This was a nice relaxing watch, what I was looking for to binge during the long weekend and take my mind away from all this lockdown news.First I liked that Shao Qing and Cong Rong were equals. Both are successful in their careers, smart, good family environment with supportive friends and co-workers. So that out of the way, we concentrate on their romance. They got together early on.
This was a 28 episode drama so I was kinda dreading that it will take me through angst and prolonged misunderstanding. Happily that was not the case.
This show did not have too many conflicts - which is why I said it was a relaxing watch. There were the supposed love triangle - Cong Rong's boss liking her, Shao Qing's colleague liking him but those really didn't go anywhere cause CR and SQ were up front with them.
When I said that they were equals, they were not only equals in career. They were equals in the relationship too. Both were equally affectionate towards each other, equally demanded to be spoiled by the other so you can see that they are confident in the relationship,
This was one of those dramas that I wished the second couple - Wen Rang and Cheng Cheng had a little more screen time when they got together. Wen Rang is so cute towards Cheng Cheng.
Zhong Zhen....for a medical student I found him somewhat of a dimwit, but I guess that was how he was supposed to portray his character? Hmm...well, he did become dashing in the end though so I guess he grew up. He wasn't really bad - juuuust has the greatest timing everytime!
Finished in two days even with frequent rewinds LOL. It was a fun watch.

One Hella Sexy, Cute, Feel-Good, and Fluffy Romantic Drama!!!
Xing Fei and Daddy Tang's chemistry and visuals carried this drama. ???What I love about this drama:
- palpable on-screen chemistry of the 1st and 2nd lead couples
- cliche but no vague and complex conflicts
- kissing scenes and their responses - ghaaaad, sana all Xing Fei! Daddy Tang is a good kisser, just like Park Seo-Joon, lol
- no unnecessary characters
- good and happy ending
- behind the scenes, they are too cute
- love the story of the 2nd lead couple, I usually fast forward 2nd leads scenes in cdrama, but this cdrama is exceptional, I love their chemistry too. Uncle looks innocent but he's a sly fox, a good kisser too
- Daddy Tang, Daddy Tang, Daddy Tang and his oozing appeal

OVERDOSE OF SWEETNESS!!!
A remedy for a tragic ending (series that has a very sad ending).>Please be reminded that this series is seriously sweet ^_^
>Plot: This kind of series are those Idol series that give you a dose of a very happy ending.
Well this one is my few favorite mini series that is not confusing and they made the story I mean the writers gave a clean plot. Boy meets Girl had a crush. Waited for so many years some cute misunderstanding but eventually solved it.
>The actors/actresses are very professional when it comes to their role. Each of them are easily understandable(character/personality).
>The OST was good and cute.
> I highly recommend this if you are into cute not so complicated plot and a good ending, this one for you. Think this can be a starters for those fan of Chinese drama.
> Over all, I know this kind of story is not so original but still it was a clean cut.
>Maybe I can re-watch this one in the near future.
>Thank you for reading Love Lots^_^
