this drama was the most overrated drama this year. I thought it was going to be sooo good. I LOVED choi-kang-hee in protect the boss her acing was great and she had great chemistry with the male lead and joo won as everyone knows is a terrific actor and I expected great things with this drama but it really sucked. There is no chemistry between them, what's up with their hair and the drama is just dragging along with nothing to make me want to finish it. I hope this doesn't affect these two actors careers because I actually think they are talented but just picked completely the wrong project and unfortunately they just don't click onscreen or make your heart flutter. It's an average drama that could have been great but its just not.

This was a surprise love for me. I watched it because of Joo Won, and wanted to see him in something other than a melodrama, or action.
He proved he has some very versatile acting skills.
I started liking it and then was reading other reviews and blogs nit picking, and hating this. I stopped reading all blogs on L7CS, so I could continue loving it. Love it I did.
Sure the spy work was crap, but that goes to the Bond spoof, and the 007, background music. It was suppose to be a romantic comedy. That it was. It did get a little melo for awhile, just enough o make the drama grow.
I will watch it again.

This was so bad, it wasn't funny at all. The characters were wasted. The story had potential. Han Gil Ro / Han Pil Hoon had 100% potential, but he was only used for like 5%. This was terrible.

I think I know now why Joo Won doesn't mix romance and action in his works. This was a flop and he learned from it. But what I keep lamenting is the bad bad bad waste of potential. The writer, the produce, hell, even the female lead - none of it was up to standard.

It's called 7th Grade Civil Servant for a reason - they all behave like they're in 7th Grade at high school.

The acting was awesome. but the material the actors had to work with was nothing much. I was so disappointed and it hurts me to say this about Joo Won's drama. I like chaebol romances and I like spy investigation stories. I like where there is plenty romance in the investigation stories. But this was a mess. Oh, the potential!!!!!!

I really thought they could have done with Han Pil Hoon what they did with Lee Jae Ha in "King 2 Hearts" - the playboy grows into a man who is able and smart enough to run rings around all the bad guys. He's playful ans sweet, but dangerous. Joo Won also approaches romance like Lee Seung Gi so I could see how 7th Grade could have been great. It falls short and it's bothering me too much.

Honestly, I only watched this because Joo Won was in it. However, I really enjoyed it. The story is intriguing even though sometimes I thought that they were inept as spies...but hey, it is just a drama. The pace of the episodes was well done and the character development was good too. I had no idea if Do Ha was good or bad and I guess in the end he was a little bit of both. There is also a story that Woo Hyuk tells to Mi Rae and JJ that I thought was really good. Also the ending was satisfying.

Joo Won can do no wrong as far as I am concerned. His acting ability is off the chain. I mean just compare his roll in Bridal Mask to Gil Ro and you can tell that he is versatile. I liked Choi Kang Hee in Protect the Boss and she does another outstanding job in this drama. She plays smart and adorable as Seo Won. So, who knew that Chansung could act? I certainly didn't. He had me bewildered as to his true intent as Do Ha up to the very end. I really like that in an actor.

Of course, Uhm Tae Woong's cameo as Woo Hyuk is daebak. I love him. Im Yoon Ho as JJ and Kim Soo Hyun as Mi Rae had me in tears at the end of the drama. I was actually routing for the "bad guys" by that point.

I enjoyed the music. Even if you don't watch this drama, then you should definitely add Big Baby Driver's A Stranger to your playlist.

I will probably rewatch this at some point.

As you can tell, I was totally invested in the characters' stories and I recommend that everyone watch this.

this show was just hilarious. the whole seo won's family was just ridiculuous and joo won was in a new light after his crazy performance in bridal mask. he was actually funny with his expressions and his chubby cheeks i wanted to pinch them. the cast was cute and interesting like the queen bee girl with red lips, the clingy girl and the wiggy ahjushi trying to get with the assistant trainer who was also hilarious and desperate to be married and b young. changsun did a good job being serious all round and i loved his acting. it was nice seeing him in this character because hes always the goofball maknae of 2pm always shy and laughing. at least there was minimal jealousiness unlike in other dramas

OMG y was this drama not longer? I loved the story & if Joo Won & Kang Hee got together in RL that would be like AWESOME! Such a good drama it made me feel good b/c it had everything. There was a feeling of seriousness & excitement, along w/ cute & funny moments. The only thing that I had a problem w/ is the filler time that was filmed w/ Kim Seo Won/Kim Kyung Ja's parents. I totally skipped all parts w/ them b/c they were boring as hell! I don't understand y they put in characters that add almost nothing to the story. I know that we had to have a feeling of sympathy for Kim Seo Won/Kim Kyung Ja b/c her parents were more like children than parents. But RLY! Did we have to go through all that torture for that long? If I was directing I would have tried to put in more segments of Joo Won & Kang Hee being cute together. But w/e!

The ending was rly good & left me w/ a feeling of happiness. Thx writers! Then again I rly love Joo Won & Kang Hee as actors. They did such a great job together. I enjoyed the chemistry that they had b/c the drama had such a relaxed feel to it. I suggest every1 give this drama a try b/c it was (IMAO) AWESOME! ENJOY!

What the hell was that Drama? I think I’m being nice with a rating of 4.
Silly situations, not funny at all, people with the mental age of a teenager playing as spies, I think that pretty much sums it up.
There is not much more to say about this useless drama that I wish I could un-see and erase from my memory.
How did Joo Won accept to do this drama? He must have been sick the day they handed out the script and someone played a trick and signed him in.
Avoid at all costs! Avoid at all costs! Avoid at all costs!

Beautiful Romance

This is a romcom set against the backdrop of espionage. If you’re looking for a hardcore spy drama with well executed action scenes and a tight spy plot, then this is not it.

BUT if you want a sweet and heartwarming romance that shows the spy leads falling in love, being together and making their relationship work—in a fun and funny way—then you’ve come to the right place.

This is funny from beginning to end, and one of the few dramas that made me laugh every episode. Since it’s also about espionage, it also has this cool vibe that’s very entertaining. The romance is one of the best I’ve seen, too.

The things I love about it:

- the romance that is fun, dramatic and heartfelt;
- how it showed how the ML fell for the FL
- the sweet scenes between the ML and the FL when they were already together—how they supported each other and the little things they do for one another;
- how they were together for most of the drama;
- the dialogue that was deep and moving;
- the OST that was lovely and played at appropriate times to support a scene (one of my favorite drama OST);
- the cool spy scenes.

This is one of the few dramas I binged watched since I was so excited to see what would happen next and I got totally invested in the leads’ story and the plot as a whole. I love it and I recommend it to those looking for a romcom with a beautiful romance, that is cool and has lots of laughs.

The story of this drama was good in the beginning. I did find the story slow in the first 3 episodes, but I started liking it in the 4th episode. I started to like the chemistry between Pilhoon and Kyungja, the story, and the roles of the other NIS Agents. But this only lasted up until the 12th episode. The story started to havea lot of filler/draggy scenes, the main leads keep breaking up, Pilhoon keeps saying that he doesn't trust Kyungja anymore but in the end, he still keeps going to her it's annoying and stupid.

I'll just rate in 5/10. In my opinion, this story is better if less draggy scenes and if Pilhoon stops going against on what he says.

This drama is not your ordinary-typical-agent-gun-with-bang-bang-thingy, it has comedy and a great storyline!!

The actors are great, especially Joo Won! (we all know that!) He potrays he's role amazingly and it's really great of him to see his new side in this drama which is more of him from what i see in 2 Days and 1 Night.

I recommend this to people who love comedy, action, drama, romance----we'll all the people!

It is a must watch and you'll definitely get hooked once you watch it!! XD

This review may contain spoilers
i liked and disliked
nothing special about this drama
although i was expecting much
but i got frustrated

this drama if it still remaining romance only it would be brilliant
but when they add the National Intelligence Service part it turned to be total mess
they were the most failure secret agents i've ever seen in every thing

and if this was the training for the National Intelligence Service i think many countries will be collapse very soon

i liked the whole team they were so cute and nice specially (lee ie) & ( jin young)

the plot was weak and the most provoking part for me was (kang hee) parents
they literally have no place in the drama and they weren't funny at all
i always fast forward their scenes

but i should admit that there were balance between the romance and the other scenes
but that doesn't prevent that i felt frustrated :/
