After graduation, Ga Yeol Chan landed his first office job at a company. His superior there, Lee Man Sik, was a "kkondae" which refers to a rigid, old school type of person. He would force his old school ways of thinking onto Ga Yeol Chan, causing Yeol Chan to quit his job there and go work at a ramen company. He worked very hard and was promoted at lightning speed thanks to his radical planning and aggressive marketing. Yeol Chan now works as the chief of the sales and marketing department at the ramen company. This position wields the most power in the company. One day, Ga Yeol Chan gets a senior age intern. That intern is Lee Man Sik who gave him such a hard time at his first job. (Sources: Asianwiki, Soompi) ~~ Adapted from the winning script from MBC’s 2018 drama writing contest. Edit Translation

A fresh Kdrama from a winning script
At first, I have low expectations for this. Business or office drama is not my favorite genre. It can be a boring subject. But this drama seems to understand that and deliver the content in a fresh way. Below are the reasons why you should watch this:1. The chemistry between both lead: Park Hae Jin and Kim Eung Soo is so good, they should get Best Couple Award
2. Every case or problem is solved quickly in an episode or two. I like that
3. Every character is not just a side character, they have their own story. Even the grandma that act as the receptionist
4. The plot twist here and there that make you wanted to watch from ep. 1
5. Even serious event can be a comedic one
6. Lessons on friendships and office teamwork are told smoothly with fresh scenarios
7. Marketing strategies that some of us can relate to.
8. A funny ending and anti-cliche one (I like the ending)
9. The trot songs are refreshing compared to pop songs in all dramas
Hope the writer create more script like this. Kdrama seems to run out of ideas.
Best KDRAMA of 2020
I have enjoyed each episodes. Park Hae Jin and Kim Eung Soo are so fun to watch. I love how the director did not focus on romance but in the story itself. It is not boring and once you have done watching episode you will crave for more and can't wait to watch what would happen next. The drama is very direct to the point, all scenes are worth to watch. It is also gives moral lessons to viewers. I love Ga Yeol Chan and Lee Man Sik's character. They are perfectly created to the story. And Park Hae Jin and Kim Eung Soo portrayed them well. Kuddos to both of them, great actors as always.I love all series of Park Hae Jin like Man to Man and Cheese in the Trap. Hope more more projects like this for him.
