A Fake Marriage
Granny Liu begs Yan Xi to marry Qian Yu in order to avoid the prince’s advances. Later that night, Qian Yu attempts suicide, though Xiao Wan stops her just in time. Xiao Wan then persuades Yan Xi to enter a fake marriage with Qian Yu, which he reluctantly agrees. Just before the wedding, Ru Ying approaches Qian Yu and offers her a potion to wipe away her memories with Yan Xi. Qian Yu rejects him, adding that her marriage would end in disaster should she fall in love with him. (Source: Viu)
