well this zoomed by (yeah cause fast-forwarded most of it) Type's father(´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) made this ep for me. cause other then him i really wasn't interested it anything. yeah the ordination was cool - seeing the celebration and joy it brought everyone involved. even though i donno what's involved and what it means etc... felt that it was an important event, so that was a great scene which conveyed the gravity and importance of this 'act' in the Thai religion / country. but the rest meeh. *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************ironic that the 1st season which i dreaded going in, was fine by the end (in-spite of the sketchy plot and character's) was even looking forward & interested in how the 2nd season will go. but now feel like a deflated balloon (⊙x⊙;) sitting here contemplating, ignoring both the wedding special and the spin-off

Um Where to start

This was ... okay where to even start . The writing , plot storyline is awful barely any redeeming qualities besides MewGulf and a few of the side couples . There are of course some really great scenes and some cute ones where you get all giggly . But the bad things were so big , it overshadowed the good parts .It’s been 7 years but barely any character development throughout the whole show . Honestly there weren’t even that many scenes with Tharn and Type together for there to have even been growth . The actions of the characters didn’t make much sense . It is very clear Mame didn’t know how to translate the book to screen maybe I don’t know how she messed up this story so bad when she had a book to take inspiration from or maybe this is to show the book is bad too i’m not sure . Something about Tharn’s character rubbed me the wrong way this season like all he could do was whine and have sex ... I wish we got some backstory to why he has so much trust issues after the Llong situation . I am sure Tharn was very messed up after learning your best friend sabotaged every relationship you had ever been in and did the worst thing ever to the one boyfriend he truly loved . That could have helped explain his actions. Honestly any depth to any of the characters would help explain any actions because Fiat’s actions made no sense to me , the boss , even Type too cause what was the real reason he didn’t want to get married ? they made it seem like it would be central issue in the plot in the beginning and we never heard about it again . Then while dealing main couple drama , they completely tossed Champ and Doc to the side and we didn’t see them together for like 5 episodes then they have to talk at the finale like okay ?? thorn’s wedding was pointless cause who cares ? We had no attachment to the girl he was marrying so like congrats i guess ?We 7 years in . Why do they not know how yo communicate and talk to each other ? Seemed unrealistic that I wouldn’t tell my boyfriend I am having problems at work . Seemed unrealistic that Type went to confront a girl that wanted to Tharn ... when Tharn is gay ??? Seemed unrealistic that his dad has been homophobic for 7 years but now he is cool because Tharn’s sister is his favorite actress ? Seemed unrealistic that Type fights with his boyfriend so he decides to kidnap Fiat , the guy who causes the fight, and get him together with Leo then come back to the house and say him and Tharn need a break ?? The entire season was just one question : Why ? I truly hope MewGulf get a real chance to showcase their talent with better writers . With the way they have been lately I don’t think they will have projects together soon and it is sad that their time together ends on this note . Do I think it is as bad as everyone says it is ? no . Was the plot awful and you struggle to see the point ? yes . Is MewGulf good enough to make you sit through the whole thing and still look forward to the next episode with all the problems ? yes so i still recommend .
