With money, power and connections, what more will one need to become a formidable opponent? It is fun as our lead proves that no matter how strong this combination is, justice can still be served.

Story: True to its title, it has a continuous money-maneuverings blending with intrigue, humor, suspense; add a sprinkle of makjang elements, touching moments and lastly, a smartly-written revenge plot that will keep you hooked from beginning to end. The way the story handled prosecution battles and conspiracy within characters themselves will keep you engaged. It is funny, cute at times in the romantic side and can be felt more on the 2nd half of the drama. For me it was never boring throughout because there is a variation of tone the writers know how to execute in the story: if it’s funny, you’ll laugh and when it gets serious, you’ll like it best as it’s more solidly- awesome. The farther you get, the more gripping it gets. The ending gave me a huge smile on my face. All in all, Mission accomplished, plus more!

Acting/ Cast: Different in the sense that there is a minimal number of “real” good people here. At least 2-3 people and our lead is not even included. In this drama, the characters seemed realistic though. In terms of acting, I can say that all the characters are very well-portrayed by the casts and I felt connections on their characters from the start. Apart from Kang Ji Hwan who did great in his role – his expressions are loveable here; I also the loved the mom a lot played by Park Soon Chun, she simply shined in this! Though likeable from the start, Hwang Geung Eums’ character warmed to me also on the 2nd half, mainly because her character is stronger there. The supporting casts did a great job also, I loved the sidekicks! You'll love to hate the villains here, very well-thought characters written as well! Their battle of wits is one of the best things on this drama!

Music: It’s fitting. The instrumentals on the cliffhangers can really deliver the suspense!

Rewatch Value: Again, unlikely for me, simply because I rarely rewatch.

Overall: IoM marks my very first great and satisfying drama from the ones that started airing on 2013. If revenge is in your liking, don’t miss this!

Okay, sorry folks, this was the BEST so far this year!! It is so rare that you can watch a drama from beginning to end and never, I say NEVER be bored!! This drama went from funny, to serious, back to funny without a hitch in the story!!

Kang Ji Hwan, I now have a totally worship of his acting ability. Sure, I had liked him in various movies and have watched a couple of dramas that were watchable but in this he totally shined as a consummate actor! He showed us joy, laughter, happiness, and even sadness very effectively! He is truly a comic genius.

Hwang Jung Eum, I was already in love with her and my love affair will just continue! Her portrayal as Jae In was hysterical! I enjoyed watching her transform from the unsure of herself daughter of a powerful woman to a woman willing to do anything to save her man.

I could list all of the cast at this point to espouse about their great acting but let's just say, the right actors were picked and they did their jobs!! Everyone was great!

Overall, if you have not watched this, you must!!

Lately,I found it hard to finish the drama from the start till the end without a pause or watching another drama in the middle at the same time. But this drama really sucked me in from the first episode till the end.

I loved & enjoyed History of Salaryman and the fact that the same writers did The Incarnation of Money,it made me want to watch it. Thanks to many good reviews, this drama completely captured me. Talk about how the story is executed, mostly it has revenge element embedded, tragic life story of the main lead is a must.(If you're a fan of melo, revenge, heartbreaking drama you should watch this) From the start, You WILL ALWAYS find yourself take a pity on our lead guy here which is Lee Cha Don and hate to the core to our main villain,Ji Se Gwang.Ohh, only God knows how much I hate that JSG b****rd. Everytime he appeared,I feel like punching my lappy screen but I could'nt coz my lappy is my baby :P That Park Sang Min guy really did an awesome job as a villain in most of his drama,he got that face lol. I hate him in Scandal too. I think I had enough of his wickedness. Can I have another villain plz..(-.=)

Don't expect too much romance in this because it was sooo little & not the main focus. I myself could'nt get enough of Lee Cha Don & Bok Jae In love story. It was somewhat lack in romance element but it's like when you see that parts, you'll love it because it's not a cliche romance story & that compensate everything. All to say about the cast, everyone did a great job in acting.I personally love Yang Goo Shik character. He's soooo freaking funny with his face and all :D

The OST was also excellent & very pleasant to hear. I found it very compatible with the story.

Don't bother with my rewatch value rate. It always lower for me because I don't usually rewatch everything I've watched.

Overally, I have enjoyed alot watching this ^^

I really enjoyed this show. I initially didn't watch it because I was turned off by the idea that it was about money and law. After seeing people say so many good things about it, I decided to watch the first episode and was instantly drawn in by the characters and the story.
The story itself has a sense of familiarity. A lot of dramas have that theme of the separation of parent from child, but this one had a unique spin that provided a really great and complex plot about justice and revenge.
The cast was great. Hwang Jung Eum is one of my personal favorite actresses, so that pushed me to watch the show even more. They all did a great job in making the characters realistic and consistent. I discovered a lot of new actors that I plan to follow.
All in all, the show turned out to be a lot better than I expected and the trial scenes throughout were easy to follow (which was one reason I chose not to watch at first/court and trials in most shows and movies tend to get confusing at times).
If you're debating on whether you should watch or not, you should definitely check out the first episode.

Wow....it was such an enjoyable ride!!

The drama is a revenge drama, but its main attraction is the face off between the protagonist and the antagonist. Both of them are equally intelligent and the story is well directed which keeps you on the edge of your seats throughout.

I liked that show always balanced the dark tone with humor and is full of amazing actors.

The several time leaps were interesting to watch. The background score is good as well!!

All in all, a thriller done right and it never feels boring.

What a roller coaster this drama was! I'm glad I picked this drama back up, cause I went a while without watching it, and I gotta say the twists and turns only get better as this drama progresses. **Small Spoiler: They get better specifically when he regains his memories.** The plot, in my opinion, never had a dull moment. This drama was filled with a lot of drama and suspension, but still slipped in some comedic relief. Not much romance, since they had a slow progressing relationship, but definitely had their share of cute and light-hearted moments.

I actually liked the cast. I've watched Kang Ji Hwan in previous dramas, so I knew he would deliver well. As for Hwang Jung Eum, this was my first drama of hers, but I thought her performance as Bok Jae In was so good. This particular character could be difficult to portray, but she did it very well without going overboard.

I personally didn't think the OST was that bad. Definitely downloaded a few songs and momentarily listened to them on repeat, although they were nothing I got too excited over.

I probably wouldn't rewatch this a 2nd time, since almost every person in this drama managed to piss me off at least once at some point, but regardless this drama was great and beautifully written. Something you've got to watch at least once, so I highly recommend this drama. It will leave you on the edge of your seat every episode!

Just finished watching it and i all i can say is it was sexy. This in my eyes is worth winning the best drama award for 2013. The plot was very refreshing and awesome. Not a single episode where i felt i was dosing off. Every single second i found myself at the edge of my seat. The best part was even though the drama is very it somehow managed to pop in funny and cute moments in every episode. But heres the deal, if your seeking a romantic drama this will be an epic fail in your case. It does have romantic parts and in fact the romance made me giggle and squeal, but what i mean to say is the plot wasnt based on it. It was more based on life, reality, and hell lot of law. I know when i say "law" all you can think of is BORING! In fact i was discouraged in watching it for that but it actually pulled me into the story. In fact it increased my interest in studying with law. The sty line is so sexy i cant even describe :P. I can assure you you won't be bored at all. The acting was amazing, each of the characters did there role gracefully. The music to be honest, i dont remember. What i mean by that is i dont know if it was for the reason that the story was so intensively sexy that i forgot about the music or not, but i simply done even remember the tune. In my opinion it wasnt that great, but hey, it has an amazing story who needs music ;P. Rewatch value is definitely strong, but though im not sure if this will be good to watch again since all the puzzle is already solved. overall i give it a 10 on 10. You can watch in dramacrazy.net. Hope my preview has encouraged you to watch this amazingly sexy drama. Thank you!

I feel like I will get roasted for this review, but here goes. I quit watching this at episode 10 and was determined never to watch the rest. However, browncoat_78 and Moko convinced me to keep watching. I admit that I liked the second half way better than the first. I guess it is because I don't find it funny. A lot of people liked the humor in this drama, but it is wasted on me. I liked the revenge parts way better. I do like the fact that Ja In stands by Cha Don through the drama and matures and helps him. It seems like he matures also. The character development and the intelligence of the characters are the best parts of the drama. Honestly, most of this drama was boring to me. I like that revenge and justice were tied together. I do wish that the "bad guys" had suffered more. Seems like their ending was too easy. It has a really adorable ending for everyone else though.

Anyway, the acting is not lacking. Kang Ji Hwan and Hwang Jung Eum are fantastic in their parts of Lee Cha Don and Bok Ja In. I think they even had good chemistry together. At least they move their faces and use hand gestures when acting so it isn't boring. The best of the whole drama was Kim Soo Mi as Bok Hwa Sool. She was just awesome.

The music is ok

I won't rewatch this.

If you like a little comedy and romance mixed with a revenge story, then you will probably enjoy this.

History of a Salaryman is one of my Top 5 favorite K dramas ever so I was excited to see another drama from the writers…

Story: The plot had good pacing and twists that made it hard to get bored. The romance was minimal but I kind of expected it due to that being the writers’ style. I think the story lacked more wackiness. I was expecting more laughs, which we didn’t get. I loved the ending!!

Acting/Cast: I don’t know what it is but I haven’t liked any Kang Ji Hwan led dramas. His characters always end up pissing me off in some way. However, he is a solid actor and he pulled off his character well in this. He also had a subtle but cute chemistry with Hwang Jung Eum, who I think needs to change it up because I feel like this character is something shes played before (and the hair!). Her character though wasn’t really incorporated into the plot very well. It felt like she was just there in the background as the token love interest. Because of that, I think it was hard for me to connect with her character. The two characters whom I found most interesting and I sympathized with happened to be the villains. Oh Yoon Ah and Park Sang Min were perfect. As for the supporting characters, there were just too many of them and took away from the mains screen time. The overall chemistry of the cast could have been better in my opinion.

Music: Kind of disappointed cause I loved the Salaryman OST, but in this the music was barely used in a way it would be memorable.

Rewatch: Its rewatchable because of the engaging story but Im not interested in seeing it again just because I didn’t love the characters.

Final thoughts: Didn’t hate it or love it. I dont really think this drama will be memorable in the future for me.

It gets more and more interesting by each episode.
the acting is amazing , not the best drama ever , but has its own great points. it's also very touching! If anyone is looking for a drama with an interesting plot , this drama is definitely the one.
what I really loved about this drama is that the story is realistic , not like classic dramas with super nice/good/caring main lead , they're just normal people that can be bad and make mistakes.
and even though it has a serious plot , there's plenty of comedy. the acting is also great.

The ending is sort of predictable, but the story line isn't.

THIS IS THE BEST DRAMA EVER!!!
I really haven't watched something this thrilling in a while. Every episode keeps you on your seat wanting more. The main character goes though a lot and I'm glad the writer is letting him have his revenge, the bad guys are as always EVIL!!I mean how could humans be that greedy, their more like beasts in this drama, you really get a kick out of seeing them being fooled and played though you just have to have patience. The romance between the main leads is goofy, and that's a good thing because you always enjoy watching their progress with each episode, their chemistry is amazing too!!

Acting/Cast
JUST OMG!! you have to watch the drama to get that,I've seen a lot of the main guys work but this is his best by far. all the characters are really good you can really tell who they are.

Music
ADDICTING!!!! it really fits with the dramas atmosphere.

Rewatch Value
The reason i gave it an 8 because the thing about this drama is the surprises and shocking twists and if you know them the second time watching the drama, it wont be as thrilling, but maybe when i forget years from now I'll diffidently watch it again!

The synopsis is misleading!
When I read the synopsis I thought it was a story of revenge on those who we saw The Equator Man or Queen of Ambition, however is slightly different.

Here we have a different protagonist, a true anti-hero. Also shows how his history is shaped, its relationship with the loan-shark and her daughter. The process of becoming a prosecutor. Learning from this, and how he can not use what he learned to what I really wanted, because the moral values ??that ought to have his benefactor.

The female protagonist is also perfect. I would say that is one of the core comic plot, and whenever she appeared I was laughing with his actions. Jae In is very hilarious.

Even the secondary couple is perfect. Memorable performances, with a villain who thinks he is righteous but has a past full of lies and money. A plot never stuck me as much as Incarnation of Money
